I’m eating up Skybound Time Loop AU at the moment. (Quick headcannon below the images)

I physically REFUSE to believe the Djinn not only knew about vengestone but also knew they they inhibited elemental powers.

SO instead I had another idea where they could enchant (?) items (usually restraints) to reflect any damage done to them. This so happens to work very well on elemental masters. So Jay tends to shock himself a lot of times on deck. He can’t use his power at all or else he’d absolutely fry his arms
