So, after trying many, many different browsers (even some obscure ones, like Tesla Browser. really? who's ever heard of Tesla Browser?) I discovered Zen Browser. This thing combines the flexibility and features of Firefox with Chrome's performance, giving it a massive potential.
It's not perfect, the vertical tabs feel alien; and the styling ehh, you can pick a colour but to enter the specific code, you have to edit the config first, and even then it's not that convenient. No themes for Private mode (I was actually surprised it was a feature in Vivaldi).
A solid browser nevertheless, I thought it would be laggier given all the animations.
So an update for Hollow Knight is live... and I'm scared. I'm scared once they finish with Silksong they're going to go and change HK in a way it would feel less, uh, what it is. You know, just to bring it on par with this new and bright sequel with the level of detailing that's close to hurting your eyes. And of course it will likely break most of the mods.
But Hollow Knight doesn't need to be Silksong. Please. Don't make it Silksong. Just let it be as we've been enjoying it all those years.
The year 2026 is finally here. The past year has been big, and the next one promises to be even bigger. We got Skong 2025, and marine Skong 2026 is on the way (I even had a dream about a dramatically expanded coral area). A bunch of cool games are close to the release. Additionally, I'm so excited to finally play Security Breach myself.
No screenshots from my survival world yet, but here's a little tree I decorated as I like it – colourful, messy, and topped with a red star. I like it dim, muted red.
I'm also trying out a winter-focused modpack I've been tweaking for 12 hrs total. It's not going to be pretty as I would like to take a break from planning in Creative and play it the old way. The restrictions are even reminiscent of that (for example, I've no access to brewing in a structureless world, although a spider dungeon manifested right at the spawn; and I have big plans for an army of fletchers trading tipped arrows). ^-^ Gonna be riding llamas, and riding minecarts, and zooming around the map, and—

Would you believe it, I got zombies to drop a potato and a carrot in the first few nights. Now I can set up a proper farm.
Oh look, the fairy lights mod just got updated! Now it has all kinds of fancy stuff! Maybe also customisable string colours, I wonder...
