When a family member's significant other of two years doesn't get invited to a wedding because of his sexual orientation.

Today I was with a coworker heading to a storage unit to take inventory. A man was on the other side of the fence waiting to exit. We were waiting for the fence to open so we could drive through.

He consistently waved the direction we were supposed to go, as if we didn't know to drive through the gate. He had that "women just don't know how to drive" look on his face. After we went through he smiled, but it was one of those jackass smiles.

I wanted to flip him off, but in a superior court vehicle I figured that wasn't a great idea.

When a guy messages you his number to text him and then BLOCKS you on facebook.

Mixed signals much?!

The fact that a mother was sitting by my friend and I, looked at us with our combined piercings, tattoos, and blue hair and decided to move across the room and stare with judging eyes - as if we were corrupting her daughter. 

My friend had just gotten the christian trinity symbol tattoo'd on her foot.

The fact that as a woman, I don't feel safe enough to go for a run after the sun goes down.
