Okay, um, no. While, yes, I’m a white person, I’m constantly defending against racism no matter what race it is! It’s nice that you assume my beliefs for me. I am a hardcore LGBT and minority supporter, but just because I defend racial minorities against racism does NOT mean I’m going to let people be racist to white people. I’m not hypocritical unlike some people I’ve seen, promoting the discrimination of white people while complaining about discrimination of colored people. I’m against discrimination of all kinds. Okay, dumbass, I want you to get a couple things straight. First off, do you mean OPPRESSION? Because I never said squat about oppression on white people. Of course white people can experience racism towards them. And furthermore, there are a bunch of people like you on Tumblr because this is TUMBLR. That means that posts being racist towards white people are the ones that everyone tends to agree with and reblog. And I hear plenty of other races that aren’t white refer to themselves as colored. I think you need to figure out what you consider racist.

White people can experience prejudice. They cannot, however, experience racism. Racism is characterized by systematic power imbalances that always benefits white people.

When we (white people) get our feelings hurt it is not racism. When there are posts talking about white people that hurts your weak ass little feelers, it is not oppression and it is not racism. RACISM is having your land stolen, your people decimated and your language squashed by white imperialists. Racism is the continuing slave trade now embodied by the prison industrial complex. Racism is a republican presidential candidate saying that the people from your country crossing a border are all rapists and criminals.

Also, it is absolutely racist for you, a white person, to use the term ‘colored’ in reference to anyone that is not white simply because you have heard non white people use that word. By that logic are you going to use the N word because you saw some black people doing it? Colored is absolutely known to be a racist term by everyone BUT you it seems. Shit, even people on Fox News don’t even use ‘colored’ to refer to black people.

What about this is hard to understand? These things are known. It’s not a debate. It is not up for question.

And I’m not referring to just black people when I say colored. Then I’d just say black people. And look up the definition of racism. You’re being racist. I thought I made myself clear.
