Paralives is the best game I've ever purchased for full price. I've never felt so free before. The babies are.. questionable, but I can look past that because we're early access

I'm gonna crash out and it's all EA's fault. Ever since the May 12th update (I believe it was this one at least) I haven't been able to use cas at all. I'm on ps5 for reference. It feels like everytime one bug gets fixed, more pop up. I've had a million problems with the game on console before, but never THIS bad. Why is it so difficult for such a rich company to just.. make their game playable? I can't select hair, clothes, accessories, skin tone. Literally nothing, there's just no option to do so no matter what button I press. I've reinstalled the game, I've restarted my playstation, I've tried running it via disk instead of digital. Nothing fixed it. Is there anything else I can do or do I just have to wait and hope that EA will actually fix it soon and not take 5 years like usual? I hate this game so much I'm so desperate for paralives 😭😭
