And before anyone complains as if these dudes give a single fuck what we think, this is absolutely social commentary on how there’s such a narrow definition of female beauty that adheres to a set of very strict Eurocentric fatphobic standards, as well as an oppressive set of acceptable female behaviors and characteristics, that once ([mostly] white) men become of a certain status they end up shunning anything (and I mean anything) outside those sets even if it’s not necessarily what they actually find attractive. You see this in Greek systems on American college campuses, in elite business circles, and in professional sports leagues, but most dramatically in hockey because it’s so white that the percentage of non-white athletes is so small as to be irrelevant.
