I let it sink deep...opening a love for my King. I let the joy that is ever-present yet mostly contained completely overwhelm my heart. It was a flood. And, I gave my tears the time they needed. Thankful for His grace. Always.

We met over coffee at my place this morning. I'm talking about the painfully slow Italian drip thick stuff...hot and ready and rich. Choices were heavy cream and sugar. Zulu king cake and strawberries. I many not be fancy, with the roots of my southern Louisiana tugging more to my rustic humble nature, but by all means manners and class can go far. Coffee is something of an art down here...a craft...a mastery of which can measure our love. She got my best today. Two cups into it and I knew she understood...when her beautiful day comes...and soon it will...she can expect I'll pour everything i've got into the most beautiful documentation of a wedding there ever was. After all...the coffee pot was emptied...the Zulu was gone.

You'll never be alone in front of the camera. We, the taker and giver, are both fully present, connecting slightly at the beginning, more at as time allows. Both of us cautious, nervous, anxious, and a tad fearful to be so insanely intimate...and yet...we are also hopeful, expectant, yearning, and little wild. We gain trust of each other. You & I...we are an us in these moments of creation. Always. Never believe otherwise.
