Idk why everyone’s so surprised when he’s had a big anvil dangling over his head in frame for every single episode

I genuinely struggle with forgiving characters like Amethyst from SU and Jax from TADC. Like yeah I get that they had to go through a lot and I feel bad for them, but once you start to hurt someone else I completely draw the line.

I think both are very well written and morally complex characters but when Amethyst turned into Rose Quartz to fuck with Greg I wasn’t able to perceive her the same way. Same with the way Jax treats Pomni. Maybe I just don’t understand the extent to which trauma changes your relationship with others, because in the darkest times of my life I would isolate myself because I couldn’t stand the thought of hurting someone else with my issues.

I think their supporting casts were very forgiving and it’s good to have so many people that you can rely on, even if you try to push them away. I can’t say much about how their character arcs ended since I haven’t seen SU Future and there’s still one more TADC episode. I just hope there’s something I can take away from all this.
