I'm not sure if you'd care to anymore but yesterday Toby Fox put out a new thing called Deltarune. Its honestly fun. Would you like to play it?

I would! But I don’t have a computer. 😅 I will probably start watching an LP of it on youtube. ☺️

Life has been well, thank you! I’ve written a little for some other fandoms, but lately I’ve been brainstorming for original work and doing a lot of reading. I’ve also downloaded UT for the Switch and have been playing it as well. ☺️ Hope you’re doing well!

That's fair! Thank you for answering. Most routes people go are to delete their Undertale blogs or just reblog other content, if I may inquire one more time, are you taking either of these options? I liked your writing, I was wondering if you ever ventured anywhere else other than Undertale.

I won’t be deleting this blog, but I have no plans on using it for anything else either. I write for other fandoms, but I’m not comfortable sharing what it is in public. Thank you, though. I’m happy knowing you’ve liked what I shared.

Fun fact: Dialogue line is in direct relation to something he does/says in the first part of Stained Glass.

Ahhh, I love this! I especially love the way you can see his eyes over the sunglasses, like you can see his real self even though he's wearing his disguises. And I love how Farona isn't even wearing hers, and I really like the angle she's in, in that makes sense? Just everything looks so good. 👌

Summary: Farona pushes Yune to a point of instability and get the answer to a question she never even got to ask.

Excerpt: Aggression. Threats. Startled though she unabashedly was with this rough shift, she could only guess that this had to be defense mechanism number three. Don’t give in, she reminded herself. She was treading on thin ice now. His eyes were growing more wild. But there was no turning back. “G—Go ahead,” she responded as valiantly as she could. “Hurt me if that’s what you want. Make your escape into the monster, you coward. Go ahead.” It was a clear, foolishly bold challenge. And for one breathless second when his eyes flashed, she thought she had unleashed something inside of him about to go berserk.

Notes: This takes place at some point after “Scars” and before “Big Plans”.

There are so many things I love about this! As always I enjoy the characters and their interactions themselves. I especially liked seeing the comparisons between the two on things such as how they react to trauma---Yune with controlling the fire, and Farona with having flashbacks.

They're always dancing around each other in some sort of mind game and I love delving deeper and deeper into it. Farona actually figuring out Yune could be vulnerable and such was amazing. They both try figuring each other out but they constantly throw each other off guard. I loved the theme of trust in this and what it really means to the both of them. And ahhh, Farona learning how Yune got his scar! And his response to her telling him to kill her was just. Shivers.

Your use of imagery and simile/metaphors is on point as always, and something I deeply admire about your writing. This was such a pleasure to read! Thank you so much for writing and sharing! 💙

Title: Stained Glass (Part 5): Big Plans

Summary: There’s a thin line between nightmares and reality for Farona now. However, the next destination on Yune’s list just may be the biggest nightmare of all.

Excerpt: “Like hell!” she shot back with fire in her eyes. “Wherever you think you’re going, I’m going too! This isn’t up for discussion!”

The high priest sighed. “Stubborn, stubborn… this is for your own good this time, Farona. Trust me.” “I do not trust you.” She stared him down and he stared back—or at least, seemed to be from beyond the black shield over his eyes. His lips pulled into a frown. “I’m going to Rekenber Corp’s headquarters.” Her mouth parted, body stiffening from the mere name alone.

Word Count: 6,705

Notes: This takes place during/after Black & White. Took me long enough, but Stained Glass’s plot is once again moving forward! Part six is already in the works.

Eee, I'm so excited for new developments! Oh man, I also thought the beginning was real and felt so bad for Farona--still did when she woke up, but omg, that was an intense scene!

My favorite parts have to be the morning after, when Yune told her to stay. It's one of those moments where at first glance it looks like he simply wants her out of the way while he takes care of business and his excuse could he just that--an excuse--but knowing both Yune and Farona up til now, it was kinda like a hit to the gut because no, he really does not want her to be exposed to that kind of thing, knowing about her past, and that's the part of him that inexplicably wants to protect her from the outside world. But then I also liked his switch, when he muses that maybe seeing it would be productive in how he wants to change her. He's got that internal back and forth going on, and then I love how Farona points out that he has the same past as well and it would be hard for him to see all that. Like she doesn't want him to go around killing but she also wishes she could protect him from exposure to that kind of thing, despite everything? I dunno how to articulate my thoughts very well LOL.

Long story short I love this and I'm so excited for the next part! Thank you for writing and sharing!💙

Title: Scars

Summary: Farona contemplates the complicated man who turned her life upside down, their connection, and the barrier between them.

Excerpt: There was… something there.

It could have had to do with a bond formed between them because of what they were or what they had lived and suffered through. Almost for sure, that was a part of it at the very least. But for a man that claimed to be motivated and driven madly on this bloody path of his, she couldn’t help but feel that she was keeping him… off-course. In fact, Farona wasn’t even sure that Yune realized it himself. She had the key—that, she knew—but she didn’t know what the key was or where the lock laid.

Notes: Written completely on a whim this afternoon/tonight. I desperately needed distraction.

Always love seeing more of these two! Especially enjoyed the introspection on Farona's side this time, in contrast to the one where we got a glimpse into Yune's inner workings. I'll always be amazed at how well you're able to convey such different voices. Farona's thoughts are so heartbreaking, and I really felt for her when she teared up and damn, those words she spoke! What a hit to the gut. ;-; I can only wonder what Yune thinks during this moment. Maybe more musing at how unpredictable she is and how even small interactions like that can catch him off guard?
