Very normal about the fact that Jackie continued to be put on a pedestal even after death. That the facade she put on for others outlived her. That no one ever truly knew who she was or how much she was hurting or what she really wanted. She never got to go to college or breakup with Jeff or change her clothes and dye her hair, she never got to be anything other than what people thought she should be. And now she’s just an idea, forever to be molded into whatever image people wanted her to be (a saintly daughter, a spoiled mean girl, the perfect angel team captain who was taken too soon).
