“I think we’re supposed to be grateful because it gives us life but right now, I hate it so fucking much”, Noah grumbled. “It’s definitely what we need”, he agreed as he stumbled out of bed and started to get dressed. “We may feel like shit right now but man, that was a great fucking night”.
“Grateful? Doesn’t the sun cause like skin cancer, or some shit like that...and wrinkles. I think the moon is definitely superior. The best things always happen at night.” Rebekah added, rubbing her forehead in desperate attempts to ease the headache she was getting from the brightness. “Should we get up to actually go get it, or do you think they’re on Door Dash?” She questioned quickly. “Pretty sure I don’t remember half of it, if we’re being completely honest. Must’ve been the jungle juice.”

“Almost as beautiful as your eyes? I swear I’m almost as mesmerized by them as I am by this sunset.” Juliana was quick to compliment back, the tone of her voice soft, yet slightly flirty. She gave the other a warm smile as she got up to take a few photos with her own phone. The blonde was immediately snapped back into focus when hearing the others voice once again. “God, you sure about this? I don’t want my beauty to take away from the scenery.” She joked lightly, but still making her way over to where the other told her to stand. “How do I even pose for this without looking like a baked potato?”
“If you think flattery’s going to get you anywhere here...you are absolutely right.” Rebekah joked lightly, a warm smile beginning to appear in response to the others compliment. “I’ve never been more sure of anything! Start thinking about your next insta quote.” She smiled, looking at the girl through her phone as she began to adjust the lighting and settings. “You can start by saying ‘cheese’!”

Arden: I think that combination caused me to respond poorly, more poorly than you deserved
Arden: I'm not trying to excuse or justify my behaviour but I thought that you deserved an explanation
Arden: in future, no matter the state of our relationship, please don't be afraid to call me out or correct me if I've gotten the wrong end of the stick

Rebekah: I get it. I don't know what he's told you, but you should know that he was never a threat to our relationship, at least in my eyes. I only wanted you for the year that we were together.
Rebekah: that's the thing, arden, I wasn't going to put in the energy in correcting you. I knew how bad it looked, and I knew how hurt you were by just the thought. I didn't want, or need, you feeling sorry for me about what happened by suddenly changing your own feelings.

It wasn’t surprising to wake up to Rebekah in his room; nor was it surprising that she was wearing one of his shirts. By this point in their relationship, she treated the Delta Psi house as an extension of her own. “I fucking hate the sun. It needs to show some goddamn respect and bother people that aren’t hungover as fuck”, Noah grumbled, vaguely aware of the fact that his rant didn’t make much sense but too hungover to actually care. “I’ll order that shit from Amazon later, I promise”. He groaned again when she checked her phone and realised that it was only 8am. “I suppose we’re up early enough to head to Fat Boys for their breakfast burgers… maybe that’s the silver lining here”.
Rebekah laughed at his small rant, finding it quite amusing. “There is absolute nothing about the sun that makes it good. It’s just a huge ball of shit fire that burns. Who knew the sun could be such a fucking bitch?” She added, using her hands to rub her eyes before pulling away. She simply nodded as the other mentioned purchasing curtains later, a nod that was followed by her getting out of bed to go look for her dress. “That sounds disgusting right now, but I think it might be needed. Pretty sure I over did it last night.”

“Pretty much.” August nodded, silently confirming the other woman’s intuition as well as her next statement. “Nicholas Sparks and Walt Disney. I’m mad at them both, to be honest.” She shook hands, letting hers fall and nodding once more. “Yeah, I think so,” August assured her with a grin. “A pack of frozen peas and I should be good.”
“Well, I’m all ears if you want to rant. Who knows, maybe I’ll have some form of amnesia from our collision that I won’t remember half of it.” Rebekah laughed softly. “Honestly, same. According to them, I should either be engaged or already married and have my whole life planned. I’m 23 and I can’t even decide what I want for dinner, let alone do I know what the hell I’m doing.” She sighed. Reaching into her lunch bag, she pulled out a slightly melted ice pack and handed it over to the brunette. “This isn’t a pack of frozen peas, and it’s slightly melted...but it should hold you through until you get to wherever you’re going to.”
