For Mulder - grey tshirt, white tshirt, or black tshirt?
Take a photographic journey with me, won’t you? For discussion purposes, I stuck to true, short-sleeved T-shirts only (long-sleeved Henleys and the like would have certainly complicated things).
Who can resist Baby Mulder fitfully sleeping on his couch in his white T?

The white T-shirt made several appearances in season 6, like here in Milagro:
Of course, my favorite from season 6 was in How the Ghosts Stole Christmas. You know why.
So all in all, the white T-shirt has delivered some very nice moments. (I didn’t even have time to get to the snaps from The Truth or the promo shot from Kitten.)
But let’s move on to black.
This one is actually a bit rarer. We see it in Three Words, for example. (It looks like a faded black to me, but it could be a charcoal, I suppose.)
And again in Essence, with a slightly more beefy Mulder. My dude’s been drinking his protein shakes after being raised from the dead.
But the rarity of the black T-shirt is just fine, because it features in one of my all-time favorite moments: Je Souhaite. Is it getting hot in here? (Oh, and Mulder? I’m very happy, thankyouverymuch.)
Now let’s talk about gray, inarguably Mulder’s favorite.
There are so many examples of Mulder in gray T-shirts, it was hard to narrow them down. But let’s start with this one in Arcadia. It’s, um, very compelling:
The Knicks version is not bad, even if he has stupidly cut the arms off:
And he certainly looks delicious while wearing it and pondering his psychic connection to Scully in Orison:
But really, there’s one big reason it’s known as Mulder’s gray T-shirt of hot-tasticness. And that’s thanks to a little cinematic masterpiece known as Fight the Future. Behold:
UNF. The gray T-shirt takes it, folks. No two ways about it.
