It’s kind of annoying how everyone associates “Winter is coming” with GOT, when it was first said by Goncharov in Goncharov on the boat scene with Mario.

Mario: “you only get one shot to do this”

Goncharov: “how mario? Winter is coming to Naples. The water is freezing. I’ll never make it in time!”

Mario: “if you had one shot, one opportunity, would you capture it? Or just let it slip? Now is your chance Goncharov.”

I don’t understand why Netflix’s Wednesday movie is overtaking Goncharov due to its lesbian undertones, when a relationship between Katya and Sofia was so obviously hinted at in that flashback scene:

Goncharov: “What is it with you? Why can’t you love me the way I love you?”

Katya: “You know why!”

Goncharov: “Katya-”

Katya: “Don’t you realize that’s why I faked my own death? I couldn’t stand not being around her anymore. I had to go see her, but you know I couldn’t go back to Naples with Ice Pick Joe knowing I was alive!”

Goncharov: “I know. I just can’t believe, that after all I’ve done for you”

Katya: “WHAT YOU’VE DONE FOR ME!? SO-”

Goncharov: “DON’T YOU DARE SAY HER NAME IN THIS HOUSE!”
