Welcome Aboard the USS Enterprise!
My name's Lt. Montgomery Scott, engineer aboard the USS Enterprise. Before we get started, I'd like to lay down a few ground rules.
The function of this blog is to ask me any questions ye might have pertaining to life in Starfleet, my experiences here and before my time on the USS Enterprise, my experiences as an engineer and any other questions that might come to your mind. I will endeavour to answer every question to be best of my knowledge. That said, I expect you to be courteous and respectful at all times. Any rudeness and/or derogatory comments will be removed as I see fit.
I am not here for romance. I am very happily in a relationship and have no intention of deviating away from said relationship. No, ye may not know their identity. The purpose of this blog is for educational purposes only. However, that said I will always endeavour to answer any and all questions put to the best of my ability.
While I am open to discussing various topics, there are certain topics that I would ask ye to refrain from asking about. Those are but are not limited to - abuse of any kind,(be that animal, child, domestic or otherwise) self harm, and extreme political discourse. I also refuse to entertain any conversations of a intolerant nature such as transphobia, anti-lgbtqia, aphobia, sexism, ableism - just, don't be a bampot and we'll get along just fine, alright?
I will be respectful of your opinions so long as ye offer me the same in kind.
Lastly, I will not tolerate any derogatory speech in relation to my ship, nor her crew, thank ye very much. In particular my ship. Just don't do it, alright?
