The blue eyed girl never would have thought that there would someone who wanted to approach her. Not that Echo was a mean person; she was nothing of that sort, but the complete opposite, and well, expressionless most of the time. It was her sister, who was more of a sadist, and the more popular one that everyone seemed to talk to and know her more. Echo was more of the one that hid behind the shadows, not that she minded. She kept to herself most of the time, her teddy bear, janta-kun, always in her arms to keep her company, often muttering and wandering around throughout Wonderland. Sometimes, Echo prefferred it to be that way, and when people approach her, she felt awkward and unsure of what to say, but still remained emotionless, although deep inside of her she felt happy. She never dared showed it.
That is why she was surprised when the bubbly orange haired girl approached her with a wide smile on her face, full of enthusiasm. Something that Echo was not used to, but it almost made her smile. Key word; almost. She rarely showed emotion, and it’s been years since she last had, probably when she was a child. Although, she smiled a bit inwardly.
Hello! My name is Lily! What’s your name?
Lily? Wasn’t this girl the Duchess’s daughter? Echo wondered why this child was wandering around, and almost felt like a mother, worried about Lily’s safety. Except, Wonderland was pretty harmless, so it should not have been that bad. Echo let that go.
“Hello, Miss Lily. Echo is Echo.”
Echo was not the one to start and continue conversations, although it had been a while since she last had spoken to someone, so it would do no harm. Besides, this was probably the first time she had met the Duchess’s daughter, and she was what Echo had considered nobility, a higher rank than her.
Echo shuffled her feet slightly, a bit shy, except she did not portray it. “What is Miss Lily doing talking to Echo? Does she need something from Echo, or can Echo help Miss Lily with something?”
