I never liked the idea of relationships much, since I met you I think about the idea a little more fondly.

I told myself I’d never go back to a church, but when I think of Sundays with you I see myself in a pew a few rows back. You didn’t have to ask me to go.

I know we’re different in this sense, I’ve never believed in God. But when I saw that smile for the first time I had to believe in something for a moment.

I don’t like to entertain the idea of a future outside of myself, but the taste of a white picket fence and porch swing is a little sweeter than I imagined.

Since you, that craving is insatiable. I have this incessant sweet tooth that refuses to be satisfied, mostly because I cant hold you the way I want to.

You walk without footprints, I never thought that was possible.

You are calm in chaos and beauty in brokenness.

I wish you knew the way I see you.
