@ostwickjoker
"You should tread carefully, there's lots of traps around. Hunter's traps. If they can take down a bear they can take down you, I'm sure."
A note about shipping with me
I probably already ship it
not that I deliberately start rp'ing with people for the purposes of shipping, but if thereâs chemistry, if thereâs interesting interaction, then yeah, I probably ship it
you donât have to ship it too; itâs fun to torture the muse with unrequited feelings okay
I will never pressure you into a ship
if you feel like iâm pressuring you, let me know and iâll do my best to rectify the behavior
if you want to ship a thing, pitch it to me. the answer is probably yes.
that said, donât assume it without at least mentioning it to me ooc first.
ships are usually in their own seperate verses unless weâve discussed something else.
if you ship with me Iâll ruin your life
xoxox i love you bbies

â â âââ  â The Inquisition? You killed Movranâs son. â
She dismounted from her horse, landing on both feet with a loud thud. The Avvar was tall in stature, easily besting even some men in height. She looked down at the Dwarf with a more passive expression as she approached carefully. It wasnât like she held any grudges towards the Inqusition nor the Dwarven people.Â
â Your scout is most likely dead. Gates to the             other world have opened here and demons             walk about, tainting the earth with unearthly             fire and cold. Iâve seen them. â
She gave no answer, for she wouldn't deny an event that did happen, and the Avvar woman held no malice within her tone. Stating what was simply fact. Instincts implored her to rise, to run, to fight ( a budding seed of caution and paranoia ), but instead all the scout did was remain as she was. On the ground, practically defenseless.
"I know." To both things. "They come from the rifts, from the Breach. I --- we were here getting their locations for the Inquisitor." But there had been complications, leading here to where she was now. Swallowing, Harding could only wonder what the Avvar sought to gain from this meeting, if anything at all.
â â âââ The Avvar looked down at the dwarf from atop her horse. Her gaze was, at best, indifferent though she was curious as to why this person was traversing the woods alone with nothing but a small blade to their name. She sniffed the air to see if anyone else was hiding in the shadows and looked around for a moment.Â
â What are you doing here? â
Atop her mount the woman was towering, framed by light through the trees; ethereal and terrifying all at once. She tightened her grip on the knife, but it'd do nothing to spare her from getting trampled beneath hooves.
"I was," words caught in her throat, just how much was she allowed to spill. What was necessary or nothing at all? Which held more importance, her tongue or her life? "I was looking for someone, a missing scout. We're with the Inquisition."
@vovkism
Dazed, ears ringing, head pounding. Harding moved, flinched, a sharp breath as pain blossomed along her side. Where was she---? A figure approached and fingers searched for her bow. When she came up empty the scout settled for a small blade she had tucked away.
"Who's there?"
Continued from (x) @reconnoiiter
Length of a stick prodded the coals, stirring cinders and (coaxing) the lush flames. The cold was neither stranger nor unknown; a sensation of dried skin LASHED by frigid breeze over && again. Truthfully, he spoke words which may have not settled for the scout as they did himself. Home, what was it again? How long did memories faded by time hold any IMPORTANCE to the warden? It wasnât a question for the time being.  The chilled winds offered no such (comfort).
â Iâll hold you to that offer. If not here, then out of the tavern when we return. â
Canine companion SHUDDERED before resting her head. The mabari no more so amused by mountainous air inducing shivers. He reached over, hand flat against the beastâs nape with (kind) motions before return towards his seat adjacent to the dwarf.
â Weâll endure, olâ girl. We always do. âÂ
In her hands the scout broke sticks, tossing pieces absently towards the fire, flames consuming them greedily and spilling out warmth in return. For all it's efforts there was still a chill in the air, the kind that settled in bones and lungs and minds. Familiarity in the ache of it, like long winter nights where exploration led her too far from home and lectures over frost nipped finger tips.
"I'll not let you down, unless I drop you on accident."
The warden was good company, him and his faithful hound, though she made Harding miss her own dog. Beds seemed too big without her crowding.
"How long have you had her," she spoke up abruptly, looking from canine to man.
fictional kiss things that end me
being unable to open their eyes for a few moments afterward
one small kiss, pulling away for an instant, then devouring each other
pressing their foreheads together while kissing
speaking normally, then after the kiss their voice is hoarse
guys furrowing their brow when kissing passionately
staring at the otherâs lips, trying not to kiss them, before giving in
running their thumb over the otherâs lips
when they lean forward a fraction as if to kiss the other person, then realize they shouldnât and pull back to stop themselves
ripping the other away -Â âno we shouldnâtâ - but when they kiss them again they moan and hold them close
one sliding their hand into the otherâs hair slowly
their entire body freezing for a second when their love kisses them
accidentally being forced inches apart from each other, staring at each otherâs lips, and just before they kiss someone pulls them back apart
when one stops the kiss to whisper âIâm sorry, are you sure you-â and they answer by kissing them more
a hoarse whisper âkiss meâ
then licks their lips and says âpleaseâ
@ahvir
"It's a bit unsettling, if I have to be honest." The scout didn't know where to put here hands, resting them awkwardly on her own thighs. "I haven't done much riding." Getting on the back of large creatures was something she tended to avoid unless it involved killing it.
Behind her sat the Inquisitor, a steady assurance, though Harding would have preferred to be the one behind for the sake of having something to hold onto. Then again that might be awkward --- what if she started clinging? Or fell off? Thatâd be beyond embarrassing.

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug: Sentence Starters
"Your pacing indicates otherwise, I'm a bit worried for your health at this rate. I am sorry no other mage skilled enough was unavailable, but the more you fidget the more likely it is we're too distracted to miss the signal."
"But I am cold and tired, and ready for home."
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug: Sentence Starters
Harding offered him a glance up, mouth and brow both quirked, but there wasn't an entire lack of empathy. Long days and long nights, a job that was never quite finished, ever more for them to do. How they all deserved a rest, respite somewhere warmed and walled, not huddled in a cave with a measly fire and furs to keep the chill out.
"At least the snow doesn't come up to your waist. If weâre competent we should be finished by tomorrow evening and on the way to Skyhold by morning. Think you can hold out that long or should I start carrying you there now?â

The Hinterlands
Troubled. A smile touched the edge of Ilaanâs mouth, warm and still. Troubled, she supposed, was indeed a word for it. Grateful for a moment of RESPITE, the Inquisitor let her staff lean against the crumbling stone wall that circled the camp, âDid I? There must be something aging about towns full of walking CORPSES âââ
âAs Iâm sure you donât need ME to remind you ⊠but past that, I promise, hren : I am well enough. Thank you,â she put aside her pack, sodden with the rain, and let her smile settle in Hardingâs direction, âDo you have word for me?â
Harding did her best not to fidget, not to fiddle with her fingers as the inquisitor spoke. Of course, of course, "Of course," she heard it echo before it came out of her lips, her own smile small and sheepish. No hardness in tone, but still words weighed heavily upon her and surely she's overthinking it. Knowing this doesn't make her feel any less foolish --- she hoped it didn't show.
"Yes --- a small group of bandits were found to the east and quickly dispatched, but we suspect there may be a hideout of them further in. Aside from that there is no trouble, at the moment. Something's bound to pop up, as things are want to do."
