been binging ajr interviews while i work on a crochet cardigan for my nana and the things i have learned so far are:

adam can handle spicy food the most out of the three of them

jack isn't a fan of ice cream. adam prefers the savory flavors. ryan likes the super duper sweet flavors.

adam likes gummy bears (we already knew this roger you may say but wait !) he likes them frozen so they're less of a chewy candy and more of a hard candy

all of them pitched in to get the beach house in long island (where bummerland, i wont, dumb song mv, etc were filmed) because they were tired of being stuck in their apartments in nyc

speaking of bummerland, they trespassed onto other people's property to film certain scenes in the mv (jack was very worried about getting in trouble)

the one video where jack was pranked with the food swap, he was expecting cat's passion fruit souffle and got mashed potatoes instead (courtesy of adam and ryan)

during neo-era they would toast a la croix after shows

jack: writing is frustrating most of the time and performing is a labor of love

filming the upside down portions for way less sad mv were painful for jack :(( (blood rushing to his head + improperly hanging from his ankles)

thanksgiving dish favorites: ryan - stuffing, adam - green bean casserole, jack - cranberry sauce

for their 2016 tour, the drum jack uses on stage is from their dad's childhood drumkit

both jack and adam in separate interviews years apart have said ryan is an incredible artist

BUT ☝️ highlights

they played dear winter. i was like awwww how sweet until the line "but shit i've gotta meet your mom first" and then i was like ohhhh ryan buddy im so sorry (also aligns with joe but i'll get there)

the water bottle thing. wtf was up with that

fan interaction was girl who had a choreographed dance to uptown girl during preshow and jack imitated her dance, guy with a camera who got called out for following ryan the entire time while jack was singing solo, and guy who went up against jack by naming ajr songs the fastest (played instrumental by ryan on piano). said guy then won the game and also played mating season on piano (he asked jack what season it was, to which he went "summer?" and then broke out into song)

jack looked BEAT the altitude was not nice to him

did wsv and sgtl in the crowd (had a mic problem during sgtl and one of the crew had to step in and hold a mic in front of jack instead of the headset)

ADAM

overalls adam. smiley adam. adam. adam was there. and he stayed for a good chunk of the show ! (not the bows smh bc that would be too damn difficult) (JOKING) (sort of) but he was there !!!!

jack did a little mention about gary and how red rocks was their dream come true

blue man group. SO COOL. they did the drum paint bit while ryan and jack did the percussion tube things

joe. ryan solo version WITH kenny urban (they brought out EVERYONE) and also hearing joe and dear winter in the same show...oh ryan. oh buddy. someone give him a hug.

three thirty !!! and ok overture !!! in a new version of aboswhpialt (god thats a long acronym).

jack messed up inertia and went to the second verse instead of skipping to the bridge lol

arnetta fucking slayed as always. they did tdjicfh and she played the crazy violin part on trumpet it was SO COOL

did i mention adam was there :3

god and the vocals were ON POINT. EVEN RYAN (i know i criticize him a little bit but) he sounded GOOD like REALLY GOOD. something in the colorado air ig (or lack thereof)

MARCHING BAND WEAK !!! full marching band for the finaleeee :D and ryan wore the weak ballcap during the first version of weak that their uncle wore to shows which was so sweet

my voice fucking hurts now. i may have screamed bloody murder and unleashed something terrifying when adam came on stage.

and stacys mom ! we were graced with a cover OTHER than all star <333

god 11/10 concert i need them to play red rocks again PLEASEEEEEE (and not just tomorrow night)
