Rhett’s rec in episode 257 is this absolutely incredible movie Palm Springs. Personally, I watched it a few months back when it was released and it’s a beautiful story. Only available on Hulu.

Directed by Marielle Heller. With Tom Hanks, Matthew Rhys, Chris Cooper, Susan Kelechi Watson. Based on the true story of a real-life friendship between Fred Rogers and journalist Lloyd Vogel.

Rhett’s rec in episode 248 was A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. He watched it recently with the family and everybody cried. (Which makes sense because Mister Rogers is a certifiable kind-hearted legend.) It’s currently available on Starz.

Link had seen the documentary Won’t You Be My Neighbor and that’s an incredible look at the life of Fred Rogers. (Listen, I’m going to hype literally anything that has to do with Fred Rogers. It’s in my blood.)
