author’s note: hello everyone! I’m a new bts writer. This is my first story here and I’m sorry if this sucks. It’s my first attempt of writing smut, so this will probably be my first and last smut fic lol bcs it’s very hard to write and I’m totally not satisfied with it. This is inspired by Harry Potter’s amortentia. Enjoy!

The woods was incredibly dark that night, but that didn’t stop you from going deeper into the forest, alone. The trees around and overhead were so thick that the light from the full moon above was completely blocked. It might be unnerving for the first time, however, since you’d been through this over and over again for a couple dozen times, you’d kind of got used to it. The darkness or the quietness didn’t scare you anymore, thanks to your final project.

As a senior-year student majoring in potions at Art of Witchcraft University, you were faced with final project which required you to create your own potion that no one had ever made before. After so many failed attempts, you were certain that this time you would succeed. Overflowed with confidence, you picked a location that seemed like a comfortable hiding place for magical creatures - lush area close to the lake - and took out a spray bottle filled with light pink liquid. You sprayed your scented potion to everywhere around you and chanted the spell, hoping that some fairies would be lured into you. That’s what the purpose of the potion afterall: to lure fairies out of their hiding, which would help other wizards and witches to gather fairy dust from them.

So, when a half-naked man in nothing but a pair of worn out pants came out instead of fairies, you were completely caught off guard.

Your arms cross, huddling your oversized cardigan over yourself as you glance back at the mop of matted black hair on the deck. Jungkook is sitting very still, laying back, eyes closed and his neck craning upwards towards the gloomy sky. A breath of air expels from your nose when you imagine how cold the rain must be.

Sitting at the very top of the list is being cautious. If ambushed by a group of ghouls, you must find a way out all on your own. It’s a risk you’re willing to take. But you’re not stupid enough to be noisy, whether you’re really alone or not.

Your Piece of Me

You didn’t expect to wake up at two in the morning to the sound of Yoongi playing piano. Though it was a gorgeous sound, one you could easily fall back to sleep to, curiosity and worry drove you to check on him. Only one small lamp lit up the room Yoongi was playing in, just enough light to illuminate the keys beneath his fingertips. He stopped playing when you got to him.

“I’m sorry for waking you,” he said in a hushed tone, resting his hands gently on his thighs. “Let’s go back to bed, it’s late.”

“What’s wrong?” you asked, sitting beside him rather than doing as he suggested.

“I couldn’t sleep.” Though he had ceased the music, his eyes were fixed on the piano. “I’m not looking forward to tomorrow.”

“Oh,” you replied, your heart sinking deep into your stomach. “We don’t have to celebrate, Yoongi. It’s only been a year, that’s not too long. Let’s not make a big deal out of it, no worries.”

Yoongi frowned a little, just barely shaking his head. “It’s not that. I just know I won’t be able to find the words.”

You steadied your breathing, calmer in the knowledge that your boyfriend wasn’t rethinking the entire relationship. “What words?”

“I’m not very good with showing my feelings,” Yoongi admitted. “You’ll be telling me all day that you love me. You know I feel the same way, but it’s so hard to say the right words.”

“That’s okay, Yoongi. I don’t care what you say or how often you say it.”

Yoongi shifted in his seat, his fingers dancing around in his lap. “Can I play how I feel instead?”

You gave him a soft smile, placing your hand on his leg in an effort to comfort him. “Of course.”

Almost immediately, Yoongi’s hands moved back up to the keys, effortlessly creating the most touching piece of music you’d ever heard. It was serene, moving, so full of emotion that you were momentarily stunned. He continued to play, showing no sign of stopping. The piece seemed like an extension of his mind, so fluid and natural. The melody created the perfect atmosphere in the dimly lit room. You were certain that this was better than hearing a thousand ‘I love you’s.

You let his playing fill you completely, your body instinctively sliding closer to him. Though your eyes were heavy, you had no desire to sleep. You could easily remain like this until sunrise, feeling Yoongi’s love for you more than ever before.
