“Span is a site-specific installation commissioned for International Orange, an exhibition celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge by the FOR-SITE Foundation. While we might think of San Francisco Bay as a timeless presence, its boundaries clearly fixed in place, Camille Utterback’s dynamically generated installation reveals the ways in which the Bay and the Golden Gate have changed — and continue to change — over time.”

“Website Wigs" are portraying diverse Websites based on their hyperlinked tree structure, which  is braided into the sythetic hair - of a Wig. Each functionality in the computer code of the Website  corresponds to a distinct way of braiding and color-coded knotting within the hair.

This video uses analog video processing techniques to performatively blend a classic image of Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol with a 1980s VHS video game. Dark Stars alludes to the shared vocabulary of celestial and pop stardom, and the synchronized death of stars and recording media. Recorded at the Experimental Television Center. (x)
