May I ask about dark ace back story with the old storm hawks? I'm not familiar with it, would the dark ace like a nice big warm hug, and hot chocolate?

Dark Ace is a bi-racial orphan, half-Eastarian; Eastaria is a Terra of my own creation based heavily off China and Japan, located to the far East (hence the name)of Atmos inhabited by Elf hybrids, and half-Nordic. His mother was Eastarian (so an Elf) and died in child-birth, leaving behind books, crystals, and scrolls to teach him about her culture. He has never met his father, who is from Terra Nord.
Eastaria is a fully self sufficient Terra known for being master beast tamers and crystal mages. Their Terra has been completely untouched by the war, which they also refuse to partake in. This gives them a very bad reputation throughout the rest of Atmos, and that reputation reflects very poorly on Dark Ace, who was not treated well in his youth.
Lightning Strike found Dark Ace living on the streets of a ransacked Terra when Dark Ace was ten years old. He took him in, and trained him as a soldier, but as soon as Dark Ace became a full fledged member of the Storm Hawks, when he was twelve, Lightning Strikes treatment of him changed drastically.
He became abusive towards him, in every sense of the word, and over the next two years proceeded to essentially brainwash him into thinking he was in love with Lightning Strike and wouldn't be able to survive without him. The only other person who mattered more to Dark Ace than Lightning Strike, was little 4-year-old Aerrow.
Upon learning that Lightning Strike had begun to turn his abuse on his son, Dark Ace made the decision that he was too dangerous to be allowed to continue living, and killed him in the final battle against Cyclonia.
There are, obviously, more details, but this would go on forever if I went into all of them haha That's the gist of his backstory anyway. And yes, he very much would like big warm hug and some hot coco lol
Also, just to make this perfectly clear; this is not canon. Dark Ace, as far as Iโm aware, has no canon backstory. These are just my headcanons, but this blog functions with this backstory in mind.
