this is a fun post because people will say how many they have in the tags then you get to figure out which ones.
functionally speaking why would hitting my gag reflex even cause my nipples to get hard. what practical purpose could this serve. i feel like a goddamn rube goldberg machine
this wasn't even about sex every time i brush my teeth i have to brush the back of my tongue hard and thorough enough to make me gag two times exactly or it's not clean (median hygeine opinion) and then because of that i have to walk around like little mx. hard nipples. humiliating
I Love You (More Than (I Think) You Love Me)
the old "polyamory is ONLY for people who have their shit together" sentiment in relation to like attention to your partner/emotional maturity/working through jealousy etc. is really funny because actually everyone should be doing that but monogs love to offload necessary emotional/personal work by just treating their partner like a dog instead. yes i know i said something about treating someone like a dog yes i know that made you horny yes yes blacked out and reblogged all very good dear thank you
it's not even that jkr isn't a general transphobe as well, obviously she is, but the frequency with which a trans woman talking about transmisogyny and how it harms transfems and using that specific language to describe that specific phenomenon is immediately translated to "transphobia" and "trans people" when it reaches a wider audience is like. idk you can't stop noticing it once you do. why are you so uncomfortable with the idea of talking about women and centering them in the conversations that they start
always very alarming to see how many "leftists" think "well why are you so worried about people having their human rights and privacy violated if it's to punish the bad people? there's no reason to oppose that unless you're a bad person" is a normal progressive line to hold
i just think more people should know that rejecting monogamy is not a big to do or something you need to do mountains of research and planning for and not something you need to come out as doing or dedicate a portion of your identity to. i always say things like this and get people in my notes going "AAAGH but the SCHEDULING and COMMITMENT and i don't even KNOW if i'm REALLY poly" but the thing is that you can just choose not to cram your love for others and your understanding of others' love for you into pre-ordained restrictive boxes kind of at any time & very likely be happier for it. yes yes reblog joke about going and cheating on your partner after reading this, very funny you won one free internet etc
it's funny to me that consistently the most polite comment rebloggergirl in the world will fully comprehend your post and append an example or supplementary work directly relevant which adds to the conversation endcapped and tagged with multiple variants of "i'm sorry to add this and i hope it's relevant but i completely understand if you'd like me to remove it or if it derails this post in any way and i hope you have a good day and i apologize" and her reblog will be two notes below scrumbo-the-wumbulous-gerblin, who has added five paragraphs to your post written in buckle up chucklefuck tumblr cadence about how race science is actually real
like it's tricky because there are a lot of cases where forming your politics as a post-hoc justification for your kneejerk reaction will have you saying reactionary things (e.g. disgust in reaction to something sexually non-normative -> "we need to punish these people socially and legally," fear in reaction to seeing a mentally ill person in public -> "we have to expand psychiatric power to keep these people out of the public," etc.) because you Have received a large amount of conservative messaging in your life & your "common sense" & inner narrative are going to reflect that. so you shouldn't do that. but "reactionary" is a word with a defined meaning which describes a desire to regress or "return" to a conservative, largely fictionalized, "simpler" past against social progress. and i understand this sounds like pedantry to a lot of people but when you daily see self identified leftists scolding, for instance, family abolitionists for being "reactionary" because their politics are a "reaction" to child abuse (and in that process reifying the family as a natural and unquestionable structure, which is an Actual reactionary political position) it's like. well kind of maddening!
and honestly it's just fucking insane that every time we try to talk about harm to children in particular we have to talk circles around the fact that these things are very, very overwhelmingly done by parents/family members/teachers/religious leaders/known and trusted adults in a position of power over a child, to the extent that many people's suggested solution to child abuse is "give the people most likely to abuse a child EVEN MORE strangling legal and material power over the kid"
let's all have a fun time looking up new words when we encounter them to see what they mean before incorporating them into our vocabularies
Hey whats all that noise-
