Humans as invasive species

Just hear me out on this

A bunch of humans get captured by aliens to be sold to as exotic pets or slaves or smth but then when they get to their home planet the humans escape and instead of trying to get back home the humans just start living in the alien wilderness now at first the alien captors aren't too woried they figure its only a matter of time before the humans are either recaptured or wiped out by the local fauna, except that never happens cut to a few decades later and the humans have not just survived but thrived their eating all the native flora and fauna,dissmantaling the traps set out for them and their even starting to reproduce cut to a few generations later and the woods are overun with humans their eating everything and all attempts to get rid of them have failed plus the humans have spread to other planets(likely as hitch hikers on cargo ships)

I just thought of a hilarious addition to this imagine 3-5 years into the human invasion the aliens try to use poison bait on us (like the kind we use on rats and stuff) but not only is the poison not effective on us but we find it delicious to the point where we're breaking in to their facilities to raid it from them
