The work in progress now is Dream Team fanfic.

I decided to imagine what the next season would look like if Viktor and Jayce survived and went with Mel to Noxus. This fic is based on the canon changes I made in the first part, so there is a brief summary in the first chapter if you want to read it separately. I'm trying to train myself to write fantasy and complex plot on this fic, so be prepared for a lot of parallel character arcs and pov for everyone listed in the tags.

I also try to take into account the lore of the game as much as I can.

Okay, I'm getting to the point in the story where I have to warn you. This fic has violence, war descriptions, and battle scenes. All tags are there for a reason, but in case you have triggers. Read responsibly.

This is a scene from Chapter 17, but as you’ve probably already noticed, it’s more than just a scene from Viktor’s dream, and I plan to use it once again later on.

Despite the complexity of the plot and the number of storylines, Viktor's arc is the most important for me in this fic, because it's not just a confrontation with the Abyss. It's about facing your dark side, your fears, about how hard it can be sometimes, and how close you come to failure before you defeat them. It’s about letting your fears pass through you and after that stepping out pure on the other side. It’s about the fact that there is hope and light even in the darkest times, even when it seems like there will be no dawn and everything you do is in vain. This is about how to surface if you've dived too deep.

Oh, how much I love to build my writing on nuances! I can never resist. There are two layers in this scene. Draco realizes that he’s happy when Harry’s happy. And secondly, he literally throws it in Harry’s face - that this is his dream and it’s just come true, even if only for a moment. And Harry doesn’t get it at all! Nothing! I laughed like a devil. Literally.
