The Joy of Creating - by Red

It's been a year since I've started working on Matchdrobe. It's been a rough ride of late nights and hard work. Even now, me and J get into compromises: date times turn into an afterthought of coffee shop work, gifts are rare, and movies are luxuries. Sometimes I wonder what got me onto this in the first place. I try to remember. It was about trying to get to the bottom of aesthetics...of understanding beauty. Fashion came as an afterthought. Sometimes, it seems so far, but then the love of building beautiful things takes over - the desire to create something to make people feel really great. Sometimes, it's not the vision that fuels us but the joy of creation itself. The journey. I am blessed :-) And I thank God that J is a great partner helping me out in my life-work...and I thank God for Matchdrobe too...without that website, I wouldn't have had the chance to talk with her the second time we met.
