Do you listen to any new artist or did you just stop listening to hip hop after 2001? Because you are pretty pretentious as far as your very narrow minded strictly 90's hip hop. There is a new movement lead by Kanye West he has made way for people like TDE and A$AP MOB. If you want I can suggest some new music you would like.

First, don’t pretend like you know new Hip-Hop if Kanye West, TDE and A$AP MOB (hah!) are the first examples you bring up. You sound like you just listen to what’s trending. Don’t claim to be Hip-Hop if you only Hop to what’s Hip. You think you’re hip cause you’re listening to Kendrick? I’ve been listening to him since 2007 when his name was K Dot.

People who know new Hip-Hop listen to Jay Electronica, Roc Marciano, Skyzoo, Fashawn, Rapsody, Shad, Black Milk, Blu, Apollo Brown, Oddisee, Actual Proof, Big K.R.I.T., Common Market, Add-2, Blue Scholars, Joey Bada$$ — but I only listen to 90’s Hip-Hop right?
