Antifreeze is fucking deadly as shit. Whilst my mom worked in the vets office the neighbor of a cat owner had become sick of his neighbors tom spraying by his house so he left antifreeze out for the cat. Animals are weirdly attracted to the smell and will drink it.

The cat was given to the vets and for 2 days it’s insides were slowly dissolved by the acids and it bled from his nose, mouth and even eyes.

On the second day, the vet not being able to help and refusing to let the cat suffer any longer put the cat down. The neighbor who did not deny his crimes didn’t even offer to pay the woman’s vet bill.

SO THE BIGGEST FUCKING SIGNAL BOOST TO THIS POST.

Fuck who ever is doing this. They can fucking burn.

Okay, listen up, if your pet drinks antifreeze, do you know what the cure is? Alcohol. That’s right. To save your furry little friend you have to get them drunk out of their faces. Antifreeze is an inhibitor and stops your enzymes from working, but luckily alcohol stops that from happening. This post is going to rushed but I’m still shaking and it’s hard to type but I NEED people to know this

My mom just took my dog to the vet She(my dog) was(still is?) having a seizure

Last month we took my dog to the vet and they told us she had developed diabetes, they told us it was caused by the food she was eating, purina beneful. They told us that there have been many many many reports of Beneful has been causing diabetes, seizures, and even death in dogs.

We had no idea

We immediately switched her food and put her on a special diet plan for her diabetes, unfortunately the effects were already permeate.

Today at 11:20 my mom woke me up crying, I helped her carry my dog to the car (while she was still having a seizure) and watched her drive away red faced and still crying.

Please please PLEASE if you are feeding your pets Purina beneful PLEASE switch their food ASAP Beneful is poising dogs and I don’t want anyone else to experience what I just did Also if you could please help me signal boost this so everyone can know

K, so this is mostly bollocks.

The Great Barrier Reef is not dead. About a third of the coral in it is dead, and it’s suffering a really bad case of a disease called coral bleaching (which is what caused the photos down below)- but it’s not dead and it has a chance to recover. Hell, you can even see it in the bottom right picture- the only coral that’s actually dead in it is the big dark twiggy bit. The rest of it is still alive- it’s just under stress and so it’s bleached.

A lot of scientists are actually kind of pissed off about this message going viral, because it sends the message that there’s nothing we can do. It’s like sending out an obituary notice for your loved one that has cancer and is on life support. They’re still not dead. They can keep fighting; they can survive.

And we can still save the Reef. It’s not too late to turn things around.

hi, i think chicken nugget might be a chimera! a chimera is an organism with cells from two different zygotes, usually a result of a merging of sibling zygotes during gestation. anyway this can result in organisms with both male and female cells, and in animals with sexual dimorphism like many butterflies, having a “split” like chicken nugget is common!

here’s an example of a butterfly chimera with a split:

and here is the sexual dimorphism of spicebush swallowtails, with the male on the left and the female on the right:

male spicebush swallowtails are also smaller than the female, which would account for the size difference of chicken nuggets…chicken wings

Not only is it true, it gets worse. The Susan G Komen For The Cure Foundation has actually successfully sued “competing” charities, because (paraphrasing) their “message or branding was infringing.”

You read that correctly: they took money that people had donated to cure cancer, and hired attorneys with it, to sue ANOTHER group of people trying to find a cure for cancer, who, in turn, had to us their donated money to hire their own legal counsel to defend themselves.
