#yoncakarakas @yoncakarakas 🌟 STAR CHILD - HYPERANTHROPOS karakas is trying in her Star Child (Hyperanthropos) series to project the birth of pure knowledge, denial of information and finally the acceptance of information. She takes reference of the conceptual timeless space from the last scene of the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey, co-written by Arthur C.Clarke and S.Kubrick and directed by Kubrick. In this scene, we witness the leading character astronout seeing himself at the same place, in three different time zones. Watching through the movie, with a linear time concept; the phases of existence and evolution of mankind, (biological, historical and technological), at the last scene we see the birth of starchild the knowledge we see the past, the future and present, one within the other. According to Karakaş, the time zone we live in hosts multiple realities. While the world we live in contains all kind of information, It doesn’t necessarily mean the meaning has been found. Constanatly we are being exposed to same images, same sounds and same ideologies.
