"An interesting point and a very valid perspective."
"Sherlock Holmes. Yourself?"
"The only kind I can have in a year like 2013."
"I'm Abaddon."
She tries to smirk but it’s uneasy feeling, even to her. “I try.. I mean.. Can’t live in this life without having some kind of backbone and snark. Gets you through the day, though.. There are times it nearly got me killed.” because you don’t toe off with Lucifer during nesting time and not walk away without the fear of God in your heart. Or, rather the fear of the Devil. Either way, there was fear.
When Abbadon steps forward, she tenses. Probably would be wise to take a step back but, Dani’s going to hold her ground. Last thing she wants is to let on how afraid she is; especially when her angel blades are likely half way across the world. Like she had any clue where she was now.
”You need my help?” this actually surprises her and it’s all she can do to keep from laughing. “Don’t get me wrong.. But why me? Being ‘special’ doesn’t really cut it.. You’re powerful, probably more powerful than I am.” she shakes her head. “I don’t have half the juice I’m supposed to, guess you can blame God for that one.” even if she could get her powers unlocked? It would be a bright shining beacon that lit up saying ‘oops surprise! Nephilim’. She wasn’t sure she wanted that to happen, especially right now.
"That's a good outlook. Keep it up, you'll go places."
{Though exactly where she could go is entirely unknown at this point. But Abaddon sees potential, and that is always something she aims to utilize. No point in wasting it when there's an entire world to bring to its knees right outside of this little room.}
"Don't get it mixed up. I don't need your help, but it would be nice to have. You've been given a gift, hon, and I don't see why you haven't been utilizing it, honing your skills, maximizing all that untapped power. There's so much to do, and so much time to carry it out. We're at war right now. You should probably pick a side."
{And she wants to stress this point.}
"Carefully."

"Again, one can hire those, if one looks in the right places."
"Hire a whole army? Ha, you've got to be kidding. No, I don't care for silly little paper transactions when words are worth more than currency."
"You're interesting. What's your name, stranger?"
reddeaddestruction has a case
"If that was all you wanted, I’m sure there are services one can hire for that."
"Oh, clever. No, that's not what I'm in the market for at all. I need something a lot more than that. An army of some sort."
[Well, well. Look what the Hellhound dragged in. If it wasn’t Lucifer’s pet. Dean couldn’t help the sneer that crossed his face when he saw her.]
"Not particularly, no."
[He drawled in response, flashing her a smile as he did so.]
"I was actually enjoying myself with you gone."
{Well, not like she'd been expecting a more warm welcome. Abaddon smiled, placing her hands on her hips as she nodded slowly.}
"Well, don't go breaking my heart now. That'd just be mean."
{Though it was difficult to actually care.}
"Here I'd thought we'd reached something of a common ground."

"Bit of an odd question. Why are you looking for one?"
"I've got my reasons. Let's just say I love a man in uniform."
”Messed up?” yeah that strikes the sarcasm chord in Dani. God help her but she’s a sarcastic little cuss when she gets too scared. “Let me guess… Someone took on the Linda Blair costume in time for Halloween and took the possession and pea soup thing a little too seriously?” she was trying to tone it down a little, and really that was pretty mild for her.
She barely manages to hide the shiver that runs along her spine at the mention of what she is. Then again at least the disguise was still working. If she knew the truth… Things could get real ugly in a hurry.
”Abbadon…” crap… Okay no more sarcasm, definitely no more sarcasm. “Chances are.. Knight of Hell and all, you know my name already.. If you know what I am, I’m not going to be dumb enough to assume you know nothing else.” she wets her lips and shifts uneasily on her feet. “So.. Why exactly am I here? I’m guessing there’s something you want?”
{She finds the woman's attitude amusing; she's always appreciated a bit of snark.}
"You've got moxy. I like that. Sure, let's go with that variant. Sounds a lot cuter than the truth."
{She takes a step forward, black boots squeaking on the floor beneath her. Abaddon likes to be intimidating, and is fortunate enough to not have to work very hard to be. The woman has recognized her name, and she can feel the air around them tense up.}
"I do. But I've never been a girl for names. You're Aidan, and that's all I need to know. Aside from the obvious, that is. You're here because this time I've decided to ask for a bit of assistance. I don't usually ask for anything. But you're special."
Dani felt indescribably nervous, which for her was a unique feeling. She’d only felt this nervous a few times, first prom, first time having sex with a hot guy, first time peeing in a public bathroom on her own. Yeah she had a few weird first times for being nervous, this however trumped them all.
Whatever feeling this was, she wasn’t sure it was a good one.
“Uh…” not the best way to start a conversation but she had to get her mind thinking straight. Eyes darting around she takes a deep breath. “Not… Sure.. I was kind of pulled here by a couple of goons, dropped off and told not to touch the curtains.” she grins. “Guessing someone is fond of those curtains?”
{Abaddon nods, and tosses the paper in her hands aside. It's useless to her now, time to focus on things of the present.
The woman in front of her is pretty and powerful, and she feels like everyone she associates with should be like this. It is, after all, how she operates herself. She places her hands on her hips with all the dignity of a demon thousands of years old, and looks down at her captive--well, company seems a bit nicer.}
"Yeah, they're good curtains. Just had them replaced for the third time. I'd really hate to see them messed up again."
{But at least this time they're black. A lot easier to hide bloodstains.}
"Word on the street is that you're a one of a kind collectible--a cambion. Hard to come across those nowadays. I took an interest, and so now you're here. I'm Abaddon. Nice to meet you, sweetheart."

{When she started her day she wasn't expecting to run across anyone who was familiar to her, yet low and behold, a face she knew well.
Her lips drew into that smile she was known for sporting, bright red and dangerous. She didn't feign pleasantries, but she didn't hide her amusement either.}
"Dean! It's been a while. Miss me at all?"

{Green eyes flicker up and over to examine the figure in front of her, away from a newspaper she's holding in her hands.
She's not known for her good nature, or her welcoming attitude, but since she's currently idle she finds no need to shoo the person away.
After a long pause, and a brief reexamination of an article that made the front page of the paper--seems like a few of the demons she'd set straight had finally gone out and done something useful with their time--she finally speaks up, deciding she's made them wait long enough.}
"Are we scheduled for a meeting, or is this a friendly visit?"

Sorry, this…wrong number. Something I can help with?
"Course you can, hon. Where's the closest military outpost to here?"

Mireya didn’t really have faith in magic, although she didn’t mind some of the tricks that illusionists and magicians did, providing they had skills. “Well, sure, if you want to.” She said, a little bit intrigued, but mostly just wanting to be polite, “But afterwards, I need to finish this off. Sorry, but I’m a little bit behind.”
Abaddon rolled her eyes. "I'm a bit pressed for time here." She looked around. No one was focusing on them, and that suited her just fine. She reached forward, grabbing Mireya's chin and pulling her forward. "Sorry hon, but time's a-wastin'." A thin trail of dark smoke left her lips, inching its way closer and closer to the girl--
--And just when she'd gotten in, was ready to see exactly what was so special about Mireya, who studied animal biology, she was forced out. The surprise of that happening caused her to stumble back, her eyes slightly widened in shock. Because all she'd felt before she was expelled, was something that was all too familiar to her.
Pure, unadulterated chaos.

Mireya laughed, thrown by Abaddon’s odd manner of speech and even the words she chose. Was this some kind of weird line, or an October thing? She’d not spotted this newbie at the tabletop club, and Abaddon did not strike her as the anime or gaming type.
"What kind of weird vibe? I was just… Studying." She shrugged, quizzical. "I can help you figure it out if you want? How would we go about that?" This had to be a prank, or a weird line. She hoped for the latter, this woman was hot at the very least.
"Doesn't matter what you were doing, it's just something about you." She clarified, letting her eyes flicker around the area. Quiet, and there were a few people around, but she wouldn't have to do away with them all if she kept things quiet.
"Well, if you have a little faith in magic I could get it done in just a moment. What do you say? Could be interesting. Could be fun." Honestly, she didn't hold much faith in asking permission, but for the sake of pretending to be someone she wasn't, she'd go along with it until she knew she couldn't any longer.
