Name that roleplay. That's a serious matter and if we can all look into the roleplay and see what's happening, maybe this can be addressed correctly.

Also proof that one of the roleplayers involved is a minor and the other two are adults. I have more screenshots of conversations with both admins, but there was only one person that wasn’t afraid of sharing them and being exposed as having complained. Which is sad.}
It’s already been put out there by a few people that were in the roleplay and quit because of this plot and I’ve gotten a lot of questions about this, at this point. The roleplay that supports minors and adults writing pedophilia plots together is singleparentshq.
To throw the details that have been explained to me by everyone I spoke with, it’s hard to tell whether this plot was purposefully concocted for the pedophilia in it or whether it was an accidental oopsie that they just decided not to correct. Either way, when it was brought to their attention, the character should have been aged up if this plot was going to continue.
There were multiple roleplayers under the age of 18 that joined the roleplay and quit when they saw this plot because it made them uncomfortable. The writers involved are 17, 19, and 21 ooc. That means that not only is there a minor in this roleplay where pedophilia with someone that is their age is being played out, but it’s being written by this minor.
The plot unraveled as follows: Mal Smythe was confronted by a 23 year old Tony Fabray about her ditching out on him for a full year this month. Her application also states that she was 16 when she had an abortion, so there is no confusion on her age at the time they were frequently having sex. The earliest that you can detect pregnancy is at three weeks, and for most people they don’t find out until at least five or six weeks with the most common amount of time before someone finds out they’re pregnant being two to three months; according to information I’ve collected about pregnancy since this report was first made to me, and it was reported more than once by more than one person. It should also be noted that you can still just take the pill up to eleven weeks after your first missed period. Not eleven weeks after the time you had sex that got you pregnant, eleven weeks after your first missed period afterwards. That would mean that at the latest, Mal got pregnant months away from being 17.
Mal then ditched Tony and began sleeping with Mason St. James, who is 23 years old to her 17/18. Much like Tony’s 23 to her 16/17. This character is still in high school as well, and despite the “age of consent” excuse that was thrown around when people started to complain, you cannot legally consent if you are still in high school because you are still a minor according to the law-- and also morals. Her app also clearly states that she had her abortion while she was still 16, which is under New York (the plot’s location) age of consent laws. It doesn’t help the moral value of this that her character is the poster child for a predator’s wildest dream; she’s got daddy issues and she does things simply because they’re dangerous/she shouldn’t do them/she’s spiraling. She’s vulnerable and emotionally damaged enough to really cling to people that she shouldn’t. She is also still reblogging things about couple inspo things for Tony and her as if they were still connected in that way, almost like her having sex with him at 16 has made her infatuated with him even though she has someone else. All while this is being written with an actual minor and actual adults and being romanticized and glorified ic and ooc.
Most people didn’t realize this was going on, because it was plotted ooc in DMs, but when it came out people started to leave the roleplay. The gossip blog outed Mal for sleeping with older men but it wasn’t spoken about negatively. A post was made by the under 18 character asking “what was so wrong with liking older men.” Many characters supported these pedophilic relationships and her decision to pursue older men as a 16/17/18 year old, and many people ooc (including the admin) were talking about it being cute in the ooc discord server.
The specific instance of people getting berated and kicked out of the roleplay for not supporting pedophilia came when Mal’s father said one thing ic about how gross it was, asking Tony what he thought he was doing and got ignored (but I thought this was a plot they wanted to do? I find it interesting that after looking through things myself, I found that the only posts that were replied to were in favor of pedophilia), and then while people were talking about how cute it was in the ooc and how “good and fun the drama was” while minimizing the pedophilia, he added to the conversation to say that it wasn’t cute and in real life, Tony would be in jail. The admin approached the player ooc to ask him to back off ic because it was “making people feel targeted and uncomfortable and she wanted to make it a safe roleplay.” (????WHAT?????) The player explained that pedophilia is wrong, the character would get sent to jail, and it’s not something anyone with morals can even fathom just ignoring ic or ooc while people are cheering for it. Especially as an adult writing the character’s father and it was mentioned that he had multiple experiences with CSA and that it was just not okay to be so flippant about supporting it. He was told that it wasn’t real so he didn’t have any right to be uncomfortable (but the person writing pedophilia plots is allowed to be uncomfortable about someone not liking it?) and if he didn’t like it, he could leave the roleplay. Before he could say anything, she threw him and anyone else who dared to complain about the pedophilia on the unfollow list without warning. The admin’s stance on this issue has been made clear: since multiple complaints were made and the wrongness of the pedophilia plot were brought up to the admin, the gossip blog has continued praising that same pedophilic couple that is being written by a minor and an adult together as “noteworthy and could have potential.”
I’ve heard from various people, both still involved with the roleplay and not, and they’ve all said that people are afraid of the admin in charge and that she has a habit of taking out her ic aggression on people ooc-- so if they don’t plot the way that she wants them to, she will bully them out. This may have contributed to her throwing at least one of these people out because they didn’t end up shipping with her, so I felt the need to mention it. I’ve also been told that her behavior during and after people started telling her they were uncomfortable with pedophilia being glorified has made people wonder if she empathizes with one or both sides of the illegal relationships being written out. Whatever her inspiration for acting the way that she has and allowing this plot to continue instead of aging the character up when it came to light that she was having sex as a child... it doesn’t really matter. If it was an accidental coincidence that nobody thought about the character’s age when choosing plots, then it was really easy to just age her up. If the answer to why pedophilia was being roleplayed was anything but the unsavory, it would have been fixed when it was brought up. Instead, the admin supported the pedophilia relationship and gave excuses about consent and framed anyone who was against the relationship as wrong, made excuses for the pedophilia, berated the roleplayers, and kicked them out.
