Life Update:

On May of 2023 our daughter was diagnosed with type I diabetes. Talk about a roller coaster of emotions, and lifestyle change. Type 1 isn’t for the faint of heart, many sleepless nights, and Dr’s appointments. My daughter has literally became a human pin cushion, from treating her highs and lows. Whenever we hear the warning of her low blood sugar my heart skips a beat.

I’m such a “look at the moon” “kiss me one more time before you go” “ just one more bite” “ stay in the car and listen to the end of the song” kind of person.

I’m so excited I finally got my cow hide rug and decided to hang it on my bedroom wall !!!!

The outside of the house is also coming along!! Working on skirting and fixing the siding, and painting.

Moving down the list on our home projects is the master bathroom.

We have to fix the floor and get a new toilet, new shower, shelving, painting, hot water heater installed.

This project is going to take some time.

Update on the home remodeling :

Before we painted, fixed the sheetrock in a couple places.

After we painted, love the color. Eventually the whole house will be this color.

Mom Shit !!!

I haven't really gone into great detail about my children. I'm trying to keep their faces off of here ( for safety reasons). My son is 5 and will be attending Kindergarten this year. He was born with a hearing disability. Bilateral moderate semi neural hearing loss is his official diagnosis. He will have to wear his hearing aids for the rest of his life. He has embraced wearing them and I love that he knows it doesn't make him any different.

My daughter is 2 and is a little spit fire she is so full of energy and is the funniest kid I've ever seen. She loves her Barbies and paw patrol.

New Obsession

I've never been the one to like dolls, don't get me wrong I loved playing with my barbies when I was little. But recently I have come across these new kind of dolls. Ones you can make !!!! If you don't follow the Dreadful Stich on Instagram you need to look at these cute and unusual dolls, she makes. So I got to thinking and with the help of my mom, I started drawing up some ideas. It also helps that I work at a craft store. I made my prototype. I got a doll form at my work, and some fabric markers, drew on a cute little face. Sewed some yarn in for the hair, glued together a cute little dress and made my own little doll.

Hopefully in the future I will be able to make a small business out of this idea. I need to come up with my own twist on the clothing, doll body, and sizes of the dolls, but I feel like if I make a couple like this I can get the general idea down.

Traveling without my children!! Is probably one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. They cried, I cried. I decided to leave them with my husband (dad) beacuse I feel like there still to young to travel.

I mean don't get me wrong it was nice to be away from them for awhile, but I'm ready to see them.

Introduction 2.0

So now that I have time I can update my page. I am a mother of two wonderful kids. I am 31 years old and loving life. Thirty and thriving is true statement. I was originally born and raised in Wyoming. A small town in the Northeast corner of the state. I married my highschool sweetheart, we decided to put our roots down in Oklahoma, and we couldn't be happier. We recently baught a single wide trailer and moved it on some land we had purchased and, now we are renovating and making it our forever home. More to come on our renovation journey.
