🍄 MARIO 2 REVIEW ⭐

the super mario galaxy movie was gorgeous and full of characters and references! 10/10. absolute 🔥

however ☝️ i find the plot is thin. it felt rushed. to me, the first movie had solid plot and smooth transitioning. this sequel felt squished and the plot was watery. both movies are a solid 90 minutes long, but mario galaxy was very "blink and it's over". there was not a lot of dialogue. it feels like yoshi talked more than any other character. but despite these faults, i would watch it again. the stunning visuals and SO MANY easter eggs make up for the thin plot. and both post-credit scenes? chef's kiss. can't wait for mario 3! (and, hopefully, a luigi's mansion movie.)
