Decided to stop lurking and start actually posting and reblogging stuff, so I thought I'd make an intro post! So...
About Me:
You can call me Catty, I use any pronouns, though primarily she/her since it's what I'm used to, and I identify as an agender woman or agirl (sounds a bit like a contradiction, I know, so I linked some information).
I am likely on the aromantic and asexual spectrums, and I am omni-oriented.

As of writing this, my main fandom is the Marauders, though I don't support Rowling.
Other fandoms I may interact with include non-Marauders Era HP, Stranger Things, Yellowjackets, and Epic: The Musical (current secondary interests), and any other things I randomly get interested in, but expect mostly Marauders
I read and write fanfic, and have occasionally tried my hand at fanart. I have multiple longfics in progress, but will primarily be posting one shots (if anything at all). My AO3 can be found here. Might write original fictions if the inspiration strikes!
I am also a multishipper, and a fan of a lot of rarepairs.

Okay, so, I've struggled with verbalizing my thoughts/headcanons about stuff for a while. I see people get asks about characters or ships, and they answer with these lists of headcanons and ideas and stuff, meanwhile all I've got is a big blog of vibes that I can't explain. But I want to be able to do stuff like that, I want to get better at infodumping and talking about things I like.
Sooo, I've decided I'd like to get some practice. Give me more vague/general questions about my headcanons and stuff (e.g., "headcanons about [character]", "thoughts on [ship]", "tell me about [WIP fic]" that sort of thing).
You can give me a headcanon or topic to start with, but make sure it's still something broader I can work with (e.g. "trans [character]", "enemies to lovers [ship]", "tell me about [character] in [WIP fic]", etc.)
Please stick to marauders fandom, and be warned that I won't have many thoughts for rarer characters, but I will still at least try!

“Hi, what can I get for you today?” Peter asks, before looking up from the till and seeing the most gorgeous woman he has ever had the fortune of laying eyes on, with voluminous curls and bold red lipstick.
“A salted caramel frappe with an extra shot and whipped cream please.” He just stands there, staring the woman for far too long to be socially acceptable. “Excuse me?”
“I- right, sorry. One frappe coming up.”
He busies himself making her drink, fumbling as he pours the milk and spilling it all over the counter. Peter hears a soft chuckle behind him, the most beautiful, melodic sound ever. He writes a stupid joke on the side of the plastic cup, a little thing he does to brighten up the day of every customer he serves when it is slow in the coffee shop.
His breath hitches as he turns back to the woman, who is smiling at him. “Here you go.”
“Thank you.” She takes the cup and laughs when she reads the joke on the side. What Did the Espresso Say to the Cappuccino? You’re frothing amazing! “You’re funny,” she squints at his name tag, “Peter.”
“You have a beautiful smile,” he blurts out without thinking, feeling his cheeks heat up, all too aware he most likely looks like a tomato right now.
“Thank you,” she smiles warmly at him. “I’m Mary, by the way.”
“It was lovely to meet you, Mary.”
“Likewise,” she responds. “I’ll see you around.”
Peter watches as she walks out the door, sighing wistfully as she disappears from sight. He really does hope he will see her again. Hopefully then he’ll be less awkward and embarrassing.

12 years, it had been twelve years since he'd last seen the love of his life. The man who took the air out of his lungs. The person who made his heart ache and feel fuller than it had in more than a decade all at the same time. When he'd first seen them he felt all these feelings he didn't know he still had all come rushing back to the surface like a wave on the shore. Anguish and longing and guilt and devotion and anger and relief all at once. All conflicting and merging into one, love. After all this time he still loved Sirius more than anything in the world. He'd tried dating while he was gone but it never worked out. He wanted them to because then he could truly let go but they never did. But none of that mattered anymore, Remus knew Sirius needed a place to stay and he offered immediately without even considering what that would mean.
"You could stay at my place? Only if you want, if not that's completely understandable!" Remus rambled like he was 15 again
"That would be great, moons. Thank you!" Sirius said quickly before Remus managed to make more of a fool of himself. God he forgot how ridiculous they made him feel
So they aparrated to Remus' cottage, it was originally his parents but when his mother died he finally moved in. It took a few years for him to finally move in but when he was late on his rent at his last apartment he didn't really have another choice. So, he took his suitcase and box of belongings and went to the last place he thought he'd be at the ripe age of 30, his childhood home.
It was a lot at first to go through all his parents things and decide what to keep and what to donate or sell. He'd kept most things but he never realized how much stuff his parents had collected. All the memories flooding from his childhood, some good and some not so good, at the sight of the objects cluttered around. Now he brought the final piece to make it truly feel like home. Under less than ideal circumstances but having Sirius here just felt right. He'd visited a few times over the summer when they were in school and after they graduated but after that none of them really had time to see their parents. James always made time for his but Remus always chalked that up to him living with them.
"It's so-" Sirius started interrupting Remus' thoughts, which he was glad for knowing all too well where that was going.
"So what? If you need anything, anything at all I'll get it. Name it!"
"It's just- a little dark. But if this is how you like it then its great, Moony! I don't want to walk in the door demanding anything." Sirius whispered frantically it was so unlike him to whisper. Sirius Black never whispered they were always louder and larger than life so to see him like this made something in Remus ache
"No, no! I usually have the curtains open I just haven't been here all year." Remus said, opening the curtains with a flick of his wand. He hadn't used much magic before their old headmaster came over offering him a job. He'd tried to avoid the thing he associated so closely with his past. He'd used it for healing salve because he tries not using it once after a particularly hard full moon and was sure he was going to die but not much else and now he used it just to make himself tea. Oh how things could change in a year.
"Would you like some tea? Remus asked, Chocolate?" he added wuth a smirk
It was Sirius who'd read somewhere that chocolate helped werewolves with their transformations. "Isn't that weird Moony? You'd think since wolves are related to dogs they wouldn't be able to have it. Not that you're a dog just-" "Yes, that is very interesting, Pads!" Remus interjected seeing that Sirius was drowning trying not to offend Remus. They'd researched like a madman after Remus told him he was a werewolf. Reading every book he could get their hands on, even muggle fairytales trying to find anything they could to help Remus through it.
"Heh! Sirius giggled so softly Remus hardly heard it, Merlin this was harder than he thought, I would love some, moons!" he said still quiet but a little louder than before
"Milk or Dark?" Remus asked, a running joke they'd had since 3rd year.
"Milk, please." Sirius said softly causing a part of Remus' heart to break in the process.
Sirius had loudly proclaimed that dark chocolate was clearly the superior chocolate and that only someone without taste could possibly like milk chocolate in their dorm room. The hot weather making his mood nearly unbearable but occasionally he would say something so ridiculous it was impossible not to find it funny. "And don't even get me started on that white conneries they claim to be chocolate!" he yelled right as Peter was about to say something "I rather like white chocolate!" Remus heard Peter mumble under his breath. Peter what a mess this all was! He thought he was dead, dead for twelve years! And now he's not only alive but also the reason his best friends are dead and he hated the love of his life and also the reason why Sirius isn't himself. The reason Sirius Black is now a quiet, underweight, shell of themself.
"Hey, old man did you forget what you were grabbing? Sirius said in his usual tone and for a split second Remus saw the teenage boy he'd fallen in love with, with his perfectly groomed appearance and their signature grin with one arm wrapped around Ja- I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that." Sirius said now back to a whisper, looking down at the counter, now back to his present self. Remus almost wanted to cry for then. If Remus felt this way he could only imagine how he felt.
"No, it was nice!" Remus said with a soft smile
"Oh, alright." Sirius said quietly, looking up again
Remus opened the bar, breaking a piece off and handing the rest to Sirius who looked at it for a moment before realizing it was for him. Slowly reaching his hand out as if they were waiting for someone else to grab it or for it to be taken back but it never did. He snatched it quickly, the movement reminding Remus of Peter's frantic movements in the Shack. Oh what has become of them he thought. He slowly brought it to his nose and Remus saw him sort of melt into the counter he was leaning on with a small smirk appear on his face just a shadow of his old grin, and then he finally took a bite. Remus waited anxiously as if he'd personally made the bar himself and was waiting for critique.
"Hmmmmmm! Sirius hummed eyes closing and the grin growing How I've missed chocolate!" they said
And that was the final nail in the coffin. Remus had to turn away before the tears fell from his eyes. Luckily Sirius didn't see because his eyes were closed. God this was embarrassing! He hadn't even been through half of what Sirius had and he was the one crying!
"Hey, you alright?" Sirius said once he'd opened their eyes
"Ya yeah, I'm alright! Sorry it's just a little dusty in here so I'm a little stuffy." Remus lied wiping the tears from his nose.
"Oh" Sirius said, Remus couldn't tell if they'd bought the lie. Before he could tell before he even said a word.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek
Sirius jumped and quickly turned into Padfoot at the sound
"The kettle! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry, Sirius!" Remus frantically spit out as he got the whistling kettle off the stove.
"Hey, it's alright! You're alright, Sirius, you can turn back." Remus said when he looked down at Padfoot. He was shaking like a leaf, Remus felt a pit in his stomach like a sinkhole at the sight.
Sirius switched back and quickly threw Remus' jacket on to cover themself. Remus had seen him naked hundreds of times but something about seeing him now even for a split second felt oddly invasive. It was obvious they didn't want to be seen so Remus felt bad for seeing him in that split second even if he really didn't see anything.
"Where's the bathroom?" Sirius quickly blurted out
"Down that hall, on the left." Remus said quickly, now looking away trying not to make them feel uncomfortable
And Sirius quickly booked it down the hall after nodding at the instructions.
"Heh" Remus exhaled This was going to be interesting he thought.
A loud clatter ripped Remus from his thoughts and before he realized it he was running to the bathroom and was at the door asking "Is everything okay in there?"
"Yes, I just dropped something." Sirius quickly responded
"Do you need help?" Remus asked
There was a long pause and then,
"Yeah"
He went to open the door, hand on the knob, "Can I come in?" he asked
"Yeah" Sirius responded instantly
So he did, seeing Sirius with the jacket still on.
Drip drip drip Remus quickly turned the faucet on and off
"Sorry it does that sometimes. I have to get a plumber out here." Remus said quickly
"It's alright." Sirius said back to the soft whisper again
"So what do you need help with?" Remus asked gently
"Everything" Sirius chuckled harshly, it was more like a sharp cackle Remus thought
"Well, where do you wanna to start?" Remus asked
"I need a fucking shower." Sirius said, swearing for the first time in Merlin only knows how long
"Okay, Remus said not knowing what to say next, Well all I've got is a tub." Remus said feeling kind of bad that he didn't have a shower. He'd thought about installing one for his parents since they were getting older but he never got the chance.
"That'll work too." Sirius said quietly
"Do you want help with it?" Remus asked
"No, no! Remus you don't have to bathe me." Sirius said quickly
"Oh, alright." Remus said
They both stood there Remus looking in the mirror at them both God how they'd changed. It felt like a millennia since they last stood in front of a mirror together.
It was an early morning before an Order meeting but the day ahead didn't matter. They were both just living in the moment. Remus was hugging Sirius from behind and was whispering about how beautiful they were. Sirius said Remus was more gorgeous than anyone he'd ever seen and somehow they started rattling off sweet nothings about their future together after the war when them and all their friends made it out of the war. Those that were still alive that is, Marlene and their family had already massacred and they heard Dorcas was on a revenge mission and Remus had a feeling that wouldn't end well. Spoiler alert: It didn't! Two weeks later she was reported missing and to his knowledge they never found her body.
"Actually, that would be nice." Sirius said
"Okay." Remus quickly snapped back to this moment. Walking over to the tub turning on the water, "Would you like it hot or cold?" he asked
"Hot!" Sirius quickly responded
Remus turned the red knob all the way over and the steam quickly rose from the water so he went to turned the cold more when Sirius interrupted, "No that's perfect!"
"Sirius, it's going to burn you!" Remus said quickly turning the cold up just a bit
"Well what if that's what I want?" Sirius yelled
Remus was equally shocked to hear him yell but it also warmed something in him
"I'm sorry." Sirius apologized
"Don't be." Remus said quickly
"No, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that." Sirius responded
Remus walked back over to the door and went to open the door
"Where are you going?" Sirius asked innocently
"I was just going to wait in the hall." Remus responded.
"No, I want you to stay. Sirius said quietly, If that's alright." they quickly added.
"Yes, that's alright." Remus said still turned away.
He heard his jacket fall to the ground and his feet slowly pad towards the running water and then climb in the clawfoot tub.
"You can look if you want." Sirius said, the water was now up to his chest and bubbles were slowly forming. Remus had assumed it was an old bubble charm they'd learned in 5th year when one of the prefects had left the prefects' bathroom door open and they overheard the ravenclaw prefect cast it.
"I didn't see you as the bubble bath type, Moons." Sirius said with a faint joking tone that made Remus heart heal just a pinch.
"Oh, that was my mum's. Remus said honestly, Do you remember her?" he asked
A long pause and Sirius looked out the window
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked that. That was so-" Remus apologized before being interrupted
"No, it's okay. I, I don't remember things, not like I used to, like I think I used to. I see bits and pieces but they aren't, normal. I don't know how to explain it." Sirius tried to explain
"No that makes sense. Remus said That's how full moons feel. Like I can see bits and pieces"
"But never the full thing" they both say at the same time. It had been what felt like forever since they did that.
"Yes exactly! Sirius exclaimed, Could you hand me a comb or a brush or anything really to get through this mess?" Sirius gestured towards his hair which Remus had tried not to look at. It was a matted frizzy mess that would put his Sirius into a frenzy. Remus had been waiting for him to mention it. It looked longer, much longer than he'd last seen it. Which made sense, it had been twelve excruciatingly long years and he didn't think there was a spa in Azkaban.
He walked over to his cabinet next to the mirror and didn't see anything other than some medicine bottles, a pair of scissors, and a razor.
"One second, I'll go grab one. I'll be right back." he said calmly walking out the door, going up the hall to his parents room. He had hardly touched this room. He walked over to his mother's vanity opened the right top drawer and grabbed the first comb he saw and shut the drawers and turned around. He looked down at the comb noticing that it looked small and turned around. Opened the drawer again and saw a comb with wider spaces between the teeth and grabbed that one and a brush for good measure and walked back to the bathroom. Knocking on the door and waiting for a "Come in" before opening it, which quickly followed the knock.
Sirius now had summoned a sponge and was washing his arms, scrubbing harshly. Remus could only imagine what Azkaban was like but he knew just by the way Sirius looked they didn't get shower time. At least Sirius could groom a little as Padfoot but they still looked a mess. His facial hair was untamed, it wasn't long but they weren't clean shaven like they usually were. He had small scars on their lower half of his face like he'd tried to shave but it didn't go well. What did they use? Remus thought the sound of the running water stopping pulled Remus from his thoughts.
"Sorry, I should've shut that off." he said
"It's alright." Remus said putting the comb and brush down on the rim of the sink.
Sirius was now moving from his neck to his back and was seeming to struggle
"I can get it if you want?" Remus said softly like he had hundreds of times before but this was different. Now it felt more intimate than before.
A short pause before Sirius said, "Yes, please?"
Remus quickly walked over to the bathtub and got down on the rug right outside it hearing his joints crack and feeling a twinge in his hip but this was more important, they were more important.
He put his hand out slowly as not to scare Sirius. They gave him the sponge, it was soft and soapy. He squeezed it letting a few bubbles foam up to the surface and scooted over to Sirius' back and softly swiped his hair over their shoulder like he had so many times before but this time instead of being to kiss their neck, as much as he wanted to, he put the sponge softly on his back and slowly in circular motions washed their back as they sat in silence.
"You can talk if you want." Sirius said quietly as Remus put his hand in the water to rinse the sponge off
"What do you want to talk about?" Remus asks
"Anything really. What have you been up to?" Sirius asks
As if there's anything of note to say Remus thinks
"Well, I was a Professor for almost a year." Remus says
"Yeah, I heard about that. How the hell did that happen?" Sirius laughs, still a cackle but a little softer and nicer to hear
"Well when Dumbledore asks." Remus says mockingly
"Yeah, right." Sirius laughs and then he abruptly stops and almost shrinks into himself
"Hey, it's alright!" Remus says softly still washing his back now moving to his right shoulder
He can hear Sirius sniffle. He never used to hear that before when they were young sure, little first years when he'd hear Sirius walk over to James' bed before he cast a silencing charm but sponge after that he'd learn the art of the silent cry.
"It's not Remus. I fucked up big time! I chose him! I chose Peter over you and James and Lily are dead because of it and and Harry had to grow up alone and it it's all my fault, Moons!" Their whole body shuttering with sobs, shattering Remus' heart.
"Hey, hey, come here." Remus said dropping the sponge in the water, soap be damned, scooting and slowly kneeling to be able to be closer to Sirius. "Can I?" he asked before touching them
"Please" was all he choked out
Remus immediately swollowed them in a hug, not caring that he was getting soaked in soap suds and water in the process as he slowly caressed Sirius' shoulder as he shivered and shuttered with sobs heaving in and out.
Oh how his heart was shattering into smaller and smaller pieces by the second
"How could you have known, Sirius? None of us knew. Not even Dumbledore." Remus comforted
"Fuck him!" Sirius choked out in between sobs
"Yeah, fuck him." Remus agreed chuckling
"I just, I was the one who suggested it. I suggested him, Remus!" Sirius said still crying but his shaking subsiding.
"I know, it's alright, Pads. It is not your fault." Remus said eyes springing to his eyes
"It's not." Sirius said, now just silently and almost strictly crying, tears and snot sliding down his face and yet Remus still thinks they look beautiful. They've always been beautiful and they always will be even if he is different.
"You can go back there again if you want. Sirius says sniffling, I'm sorry I got you all wet."
"Sirius Black don't ever apologize for getting me wet." Remus says with a smirk slowly backing off of Sirius
"Ha! You know that's not what I meant." Sirius chuckles again and Remus can see a hint of blush grow to his cheeks
"Well" Remus says with the smirk slowly growing into a smile as he grabs the sponge and gets back to work.
Rosewater? I don't actually know how related Regulus and Evan are like I'm sure they're cousins on both sides but I have no idea how distantly. Would their families agree to their relationship because of their societal status? Did Walburga and Orion sit down and say "I know they're queers but Andromeda just ran off with a muggleborn and if the heir to the house of Black and the heir to the house of Rosier want to do a merger who are we to stop them"
Cygnus is married to Druella Rosier. She’s not biologically related to the Blacks, but she is Regulus’s aunt because she married his uncle. She is (most likely) Evan’s biological aunt.
I actually once made a whole diagram because I was so sick of the "are the Black brothers and Evan/the Rosier twins related" debate so
And, of course, we don't actually know how closely related Druella is to the Rosier twins' parents, so they could be even further apart, I just used my personal headcanons for this, which is really as close as you can get them.
Anyways, with regards to the actual point of the original post, I absolutely love that idea it's so funny.

@ineffablelyqueerwolfstarshipper I saw you were wondering about Tonks's era, so m here to tell you that we actually have so much information thanks to Hogwarts Mystery, a game where the player is in the same year as her!
So, here's some brief descriptions (I have more to say about some than others) of the significant characters in her year, plus links to their hp fandom wiki pages so you can get more information.
(Also, I do play the game myself, but I am not giving any money to JKR. The game is free, I'm not making in-app purchases, and I'm not even watching ads because there aren't any involuntary ads and I'm not watching ads voluntarily. However, I don't know a whole lot about the characters because I've been progressing very slowly, so I haven't made it that far and have forgotten a lot of the stuff I have gotten to. Hence the wiki links)
Now, without further ado:
Gryffindors:
Ben Copper — a muggleborn struggling with his introduction to the wizarding world, scared of a lot of stuff because it's all so new and dangerous. Kinda reminds me of Neville tbh.
Charlie Weasley — probably the one you know best (other than Tonks) lol. Second oldest Weasley sibling, really likes dragons, probably aroace.
Jae Kim — sells banned items to other students, gets in a lot of trouble for it. This is literally all I can figure out about him 😅
Hufflepuffs:
Chiara Lobosca — attacked by Fenrir Greyback as a child, and became a werewolf as a result. Later befriends Remus, and becomes one of my favorite characters in this era just from that lol.
Diego Caplan — apparently an excellent dueller and an excellent dancer. Idk.
Nymphadora Tonks — of course :)
Penny Haywood — very popular, and such a great potioneer that even Snape likes her lol.
Ravenclaws:
Andre Egwu — reserve seeker for his quidditch team, and a lover of fashion, even making his own clothes.
Badeea Ali — a great painter, and also skilled with new/experimental magic, creating two new spells as a student.
Talbott Winger — became an animagus at a very young age thanks to his mother's teaching. Very introverted.
Tulip Karasu — my prime candidate to be shipped with Tonks!! They canonically become best friends, and they're both pranksters and troublemakers lol. I imagine they have a similar dynamic to prongsfoot in that respect. Tulip was also almost canonically sapphic, originally meant to have a crush on Merula (discussed below) but that was mostly scrapped. Also Tulip and Tonks's ship name is apparently TNT (link goes to the only search that got me results) which is iconic actually.
Slytherins:
Barnaby Lee — loves magical creatures. Himbo energy. Child of Death Eaters who ended up in Azkaban after the first war. Part of Merula's gang for a while, leaves later, but continues to worry about her.
Ismelda Murk — also part of Merula's gang. A very cruel bully. Was ignored by her parents in favor of her more successful sister, and became desperate for attention because of it.
Liz Tuttle — loves both magical and non-magical animals. At least vegetarian, possibly vegan.
Merula Snyde — the child of Death Eaters who ended up in Azkaban after the first war. A bully, and very insistent about her own superiority in an attempt to mask her insecurity. Slowly improves as a person as she gets older, but maintains some loyalty to her family.
Indeterminate house (same house as the player):
The player character — of course.
Murphy McNully — quidditch commentator and a brilliant strategist in both quidditch and wizard's chess.
Orion Amari — probably should be a couple years older, actually, since he's the captain of his quidditch team by the PC's second year. I'd say two years older, since that would make him a captain in his fourth year (a reasonably common age for that) and keeps him there for the four quidditch seasons the game has (which should be the PC's second through fifth years). But apparently he wasn't really thought through because the wiki implies he's still at Hogwarts in the PC's seventh year. So yeah. He also spouts a bunch of faux-profound nonsense that's kind of funny from a fictional character but would really annoy me personally if he was real. The way that this is the longest section here 😭
Rowan Khanna — the same gender as the PC as well, so a lot of people portray them as non-binary. Very book-smart and nerdy, so they feel very Ravenclaw to me.
Skye Parkin — an excellent quidditch player coming from a family of professional quidditch players, and often felt pressure to perform well, before confronting her father about it and finally being able to fully enjoy quidditch.
Aaand that's the important people I think. Hope this was enough information. Hope it wasn't too much information lol this was long.

Regulus's expression softened just a bit. "... Yeah. Yeah, it's in Leo." "Cool. That's a cool name."
Maybe Peter imagined it, but the corner of Regulus's mouth seemed to twitch, like he was fighting back a smile. "Thanks."
Okay, I couldn't find the word anywhere, but I did find somewhere I could easily rephrase to include it, so:
"Wha- Dru!"
"Shh!" Druella hissed, as she started down the hall with Walburga in tow. "Nobody can know you're here." Which, yeah. She was right. Walburga could already hear the music playing downstairs, and they couldn't take the risk of someone coming up and finding them together.
It was unfair that they had to go to these lengths just for a single opportunity to do something other couples did so often.

In Runaway I actually used the word four times rapid succession (originally five but I rephrased a sentence lol) so:
"Uh- yeah, I suppose. I mean, I don't really get to stop and sight-see most of the time. I mean, I've been to most big cities in the country, but it feels sort of samey at this point. Although, the scenery some places is pretty, um- pretty."
"Pretty pretty?" Regulus teased.
Remus laughed awkwardly and flushed. He was sort of cute, actually. Not remotely like Regulus had expected.
Regulus shook that thought away. It was too dangerous to let himself think like that — he didn't know what Remus was actually like. He'd just met the man.
