Iâm pregnant. Yes. Iâve known for some time.
I miss Mierce.
Gorgeous Red!
Call me Roger.
I donât draw a breath without knowing my perimeter is secure. Thatâs why Iâm still alive.
Things werenât so âsecureâ when Liz was killed. Well????
Hi. Hi.
Red + Lizzie & holding hands
AU: The Blacklist + Youâve Got MailÂ
Sexy Red!
I don't own the music đ¶
He's back in October
I know that last ficlet was meant to be fluffy, but now all I can think about is how Red actually *would* love the idea of an eternity with his Lizzie...and Iâm đ„șđ
Ummmm yesssss.... so I am going to link here a fic I read recently over on ao3 by @cress-26 and then you can decide if you want to cry your eyeballs out or what, but it's really beautiful. Just, you may not stop crying. Ok.
Here
I warned you xo
New interview with James Spader about season 8
Awwww! It was James Spader's idea to make Glens' mom a part of the show!!
âItâs not necessarily the close of the series, but we are resolving a sprawling story that weâve been telling for eight years, and weâre going to have a real understanding of why this man came into Elizabeth Keenâs life, why sheâs in danger, why Katarina did what she did. - Jon Bokenkamp
Next weekâs episode is another one that isnât your typical episode of The Blacklist. What can you share about whatâs next? The promise of the next episode, which we are incredibly excited about, is to really walk through, almost as a document, eight years of mythology. Weâre going back to the night of the fire, weâre going back to Cape May, weâre going back to pivotal moments that have defined why Raymond Reddington came into Elizabeth Keenâs life, and weâve never really done this before. For diehard fans, and for casual viewers, itâs going to be a really eye-opening, enlightening, and satisfying episode. It is titled âNachalo,â which is the Russian word for âthe beginning.â We really are going back to the beginning to hear the story be told, and itâs done in a very artful and yet surreal and unusual way that really is not like anything weâve ever done. - Jon Bokenkamp
Conclusion: S9 will be a different show.Â
LIES.
Blatant, unforgiveable, deceiving, tricking, deceitful, falsehood, mendacity, prevarication, misconception, and most of all, LIES ~ in other words, we were, purposely, and with malice, shot in the back.Â
I know my rambling ass has already thrown a long af Lizzington playlist at your face, but I couldn't stop thinking and listening to a song with Lizzington feels. I couldn't help myself from letting this out. 'Love Songs Ain't For Us' by Amy Shark feat Keith Urban to me suits them from Liz's perspective. It's almost like a representation of their relationship as a slow dance so to speak. She is caught off guard by him with his charms, mysteriousness and his protectiveness and care towards her. At the same time, she's also startled by her own budding feelings for him.
At this point in their relationship, they're not yet "lovers" as the song describes, but they share this intimate, deep, unconditional bond and understanding with each other. She's comfortable with them just being them. They don't need the fanfare, wide grand gestures of their love cause it's not their thing. They'll have their hurts and pain along the way, but, as I paraphrase from the song, for them "it's perfect nights, open doors, feeling safe and the crazy rush to feel like us". It's a considerably happier song compared to the normal angsty-ness of Lizzington songs.
-Rambling anon đ
Good morning Rambling Anon! Ahhh thank you for sharing this one with us - it's nice getting a more Lizzie perspective song! And a happy one at that đ
Caught in the moment
Midnight in the room
My breath and heart
Got taken by you
And it's almost perfect tonight
As the storm is raging outside
One kiss and I open my eyes
You're not yet a lovДr
But you're more than a friend
ThДre are some things you know
But things you can't understand
*muffled screaming into a pillow*
Yeppp they call these things romantic tropes for a reason right?? I mean, we've had scenes that basically follow along with the song lyrics, and the song is most definitely a love song (despite its title lol)
My favourite thing you said is that they don't need the fanfare or grand gestures etc. (I mean WE KNOW Red would totally do the grand gestures sometimes) simply being in eachother's presence is enough for them.
And that's really beautiful to me đđ„Č
Thanks for this lovely rec!! Pop in anytime lol I'll brew your hot bevvie of choice and we'll chat about lyrics
