Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves - slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future. Live the actual moment. Only this moment is life.

#MeToo
October 20, 2014: The first time I could ever openly write about it, 4 years later.
Lightning storm off the coast of LA. Who knew that we could have lightning storms in LA too?
Incredible to witness this last for over an hour over the ocean. Definitely worth staying up for! Also strange and eery to see so many lightning flashes with no thunder.
I also learned that lightning comes in different colors!

Intro: Seattle from the east side, i.e. my working side
A Seattle Story
A perfect Seattle summer weekend. Hi there Rainier!
Where to find one of my favorite cafes in Seattle
Cappuccino with coconut cashew milk. Shout out to the excellent baristas who helped me make up my indecisive coffee mind visit after visit.
Reflection on the Seattle Great Wheel
I was always in awe (and confused) by the stillness of the Pacific Ocean water in Puget Sound. Those lights and reflection are incredible.

If you just sit and observe, you will see how restless your mind is. If you try to calm it, it only makes it worse, but over time it does calm, and when it does, there’s room to hear more subtle things — that’s when your intuition starts to blossom and you start to see things more clearly and be in the present more. Your mind just slows down, and you see a tremendous expanse in the moment. You see so much more than you could see before.
