*puts on gay conspiracy hat* I think Capcom got scared at the size of the gay following Chris got post RE5/6, and considering this company doesn’t even allow one of gamings most famous trans icons Poison to be canonically trans, there is no way they are confident enough to have Chris be LGBT. Which is why his RE7 design basically removed all of the bara, and pandered to the Vanilla Call Of Duty design committee. Though they left some scraps like Claire’s reaction to STARS Letter just in case.
