The houses passed by in a blur, the speed meter seeming to not exist for the entire drive home. The constant ache and strain Hayden felt in his jeans was too much of a distraction for him to care about how fast he was going.Â
Even the lack of music coming from the radio did absolutely nothing to calm his racing heart. He had turned it off completely in hopes that the silence would keep him focused on driving, but it did the exact opposite. With the car being silent, he was left to remember the way you sounded when you moaned on the phone earlier, and how you whimpered when he went down on you this morning.Â
He glanced at the clock and was surprised to see that it was nearing twelve in the morning. Hayden was glad that he had managed to get through the rest of filming and didnât have to reshoot anything, but he was also frustrated that he wouldnât get long with you before he had to return to set in about seven hours.Â
Hayden would be exhausted by the time he was called onto set, but sleep was the furthest thing from his mind. He wouldnât be able to close his eyes and relax his body until he brought you to that sweet release he knows you both have been craving all day.Â
He felt awful when he couldnât finish what he started and had to leave you before properly waking you up in the way he wanted to. Though, after your teasing phone call earlier, while he was at work, he didnât feel as bad as before.Â
It was considered a miracle that he made it home in one piece. Hayden barely had the car turned off before he was making his way up the small path that led to the front porch. He had a hard time concentrating on unlocking the door, and he was both grateful and frustrated that you hadnât bothered to unlock it for him after he left this morning.Â
You lived in a good neighborhood, so he wasnât worried about leaving it unlocked when he left, but he also preferred to know that you were safe at all times when he wasnât there. Hence why he had made sure to lock it as he left for work this morning, something he was seriously regretting now as he gave the door a harsh shove before it swung open.
As he stumbled into the house, his eyes met yours almost immediately. You were sitting on the stairs, directly in the middle as you watched him struggle to open the door with a teasing smile on your lips.Â
You slowly stood up as he closed the door behind him, his hand reaching behind him to blindly turn the lock as he kept his eyes on you. âWelcome home,â you say quietly, knowing how quickly he got turned on when you used that tone.Â
Your words, like you had expected them to, had him groaning quietly as he made his way over to you in three strides. You had stepped down a few of the stairs and was now only a few inches taller than him, making you the perfect height as he finally reached you and lifted his head just slightly to be able to press his lips to yours.Â
A sigh of relief left him as his hands snaked around your waist and tugged you forward until your chest was pressed against his. âBaby,â he mumbled against your mouth and you refrained from moaning at how desperate he sounded and how good his hands felt on your body.Â
You were wearing one of your favorite shirts, a black t-shirt that had an image of Luke Skywalker fighting Darth Vader, along with the words âIâm Married to Darth Vaderâ. When you saw it at a local thrift shop, you knew you had to get it. Turns out, it was one of Haydenâs favorite things on you as well, as it was an inside joke between the two of you.Â
If he was being completely honest, he thought you looked hottest like this when compared to any of the lingerie you own, not that heâd ever compare you in any way. Heâs always found your casual outfits unbelievably attractive, but then again, he found you attractive all the time.Â
You let your hands trail up his body and squeeze his shoulders before reaching up to knock his hat off his head. He had placed it on backwards after leaving the set so he would have easier access to you without the brim being in the way, but he was also more than happy to shred the article if it meant he got to feel your hands tugging on his hair, just like they did this morning.Â
Your hands, mixed with the hat, had successfully messed up the neat style that his character had, and Hayden groaned against your mouth. âI missed you,â he mumbled against your lips and felt you grin. âSo much.â
âNot nearly as much as I missed you,âÂ
He groaned again when he lifted the shirt you wore up a bit so he could feel your soft skin. âI find that hard to believe,âÂ
You hummed, tugging at the chain he wore underneath his shirt until it snapped open. You pulled the chain free and slid off his wedding band, lifting his left hand and slipping it back on his finger. Hayden always kept his ring on him when he was filming, whether that be on a chain under his shirt or in his pocket.Â
It felt wrong to take it off, let alone keep it at home when he was away filming.Â
âI wonder what I will find thatâs hard,â you tease and trial a hand back down his chest, pausing just above his jeans. Your thumb runs along the zipper, and you feel him involuntarily buck into your hand.
Hayden groans as you slip your hand into his jeans and tease your fingers along him. âYou and I both know what you will find,â he mutters and you grin, pulling your face away from his.
âI could always get you all worked up then leave before you get to come,â you shrugged and pulled away from him entirely, turning and quickly making your way up the stairs.
Hayden was left to stand there in shock as he watched you enter the bedroom. It only took him three seconds before he was bolting after you, nearly tripping on the last step as he went.Â
He enters the room and leans against the doorframe, crossing his arms as he meets your eyes. You were propped up on your elbows on the bed, one leg bent at the knee and making your shin cover your most private part from his view.Â
You tilt your head and a smirk forms on your lips when his jaw clenched as he watches you lean further back. The stretch causes your shirt to rise and expose the skin of your stomach, and he was crossing the room within seconds.Â
His hands wrap around your ankles and he tugs you back down to the edge of the bed with a single pull. His strength caught you off guard, and it turned you on, like it always did.Â
You bite your lip as he trails his hands up your thighs and pushes your shirt further up, exposing the pink lace that covered your core from him. The same pink lace that you had on in the photo you sent him hours ago.Â
He groaned loudly as he crawled over you and settled himself between your thighs. His lips press a chaste kiss to yours before moving down to your neck and peppering your skin with open mouthed kisses.Â
You sigh and turn your head to give him better access, your eyes landing on the clock that showed just how late it was.Â
12:32 AM.
But Hayden showed no signs of stopping or speeding up, and you knew he was going to take his time with you, his sleep schedule being the last thing on his mind.Â
This was going to be a long night, you could tell from the way he sucked and kissed the skin of your neck without rushing. He runs his lips over your collar bone and nudges the shirt a bit higher, exposing more and more of your chest to his lust filled eyes.Â
Suddenly your shirt was off and discarded on the hardwood floor of the bedroom, leaving you only in the scrap of pink fabric that was getting more and more damp as the seconds went on. âYou have no idea how difficult it was for me to have to pretend I wasnât hard on set today,â
His words, the filthy ones they were, had you whining quietly, desperate to hear more while also needing him to speed up the pace.Â
âI take full credit for that,â you say and bite your lip when his mouth trails down your chest and in between your breasts. His hands grab at the flesh as his lips descend even further, licking and kissing all over the smooth skin of your abdomen.Â
âYeah, you would, wouldnât you?â He mutters as he hovers his mouth over your core and kneels on the floor. âJust like how you wouldnât let me forget how I had to leave you this morning after getting you so close to coming.â
Your breath hitches as he presses a kiss to your fabric covered hip, refraining from bucking up and towards his awaiting mouth.Â
âGetting me all worked up when you knew I felt awful about having to leave early,â he continued, lifting his gaze so he was looking right up at you. âMakes me question if you even deserve to have me pick up where I left off.â
Your eyes widen at that. âWhat? What do you mean by that?â
Hayden hums as he trails his index finger along the lace trim of your lingerie bottoms. âYou tell me,â
His touch was feather light and not enough to satisfy the burning desire youâve been feeling all day. âNo,â you whisper and watch as one corner of his mouth turns upwards. âNo, please. I promise I wonât do it again. Iâm sorry for teasing you, but I just needed you so badly.â
He sticks his lower lip out in a pout. âI know,â he murmurs and presses a chaste kiss to your covered clit, making you gasp slightly when he continues, âI know, baby. Iâm sorry for not getting you off before I left. I wanted toâŠ.wanted to taste you for hours.â
Your eyes nearly rolled into the back of your head at how deep his voice had gotten since he returned home. How he managed to be so effortlessly hot all the time, you had no idea.Â
âMaybe Iâll let you get away with it this time,â he mumbled and you eagerly lifted your hips when he began to tug the last remaining article of clothing down your legs. It drops to the floor as well, and you didnât get the chance to wince at the cool air that fanned over your core before he was leaning in and licking a flat stripe up your folds.Â
âFuck,â you moaned as soon as you felt his mouth on you.Â
Hayden wasted no time at all, quickly resuming where he had left off this morning, and wrapped his lips around your clit. Your hips lifted involuntarily as he sucked the bundle of nerves into his mouth without working you up to it, your legs already beginning to shake at the overwhelming and sudden jolt of pleasure that shot through your body.Â
He circled your clit with the tip of his tongue, his eyes casting upwards to watch your upper body fall against the bed. With a proud smirk, he leaned further down and devoured your core like he was starving. He wasnât kidding when he said he wished he got you off this morning. Going down on you was one of his favorite ways to make you come, so the fact that he was so close to doing so but had to stop at the last second was his motivation to get you there again as soon as possible.Â
âHayden,â you moaned his name, titling your head further back into the bed. You were so relieved to have the feeling of his mouth back on you after it had been ripped away from you over twelve hours ago.Â
Like you expected, the way you said his name, in that breathless and needy voice, had him groaning against your core. The vibration had you gasping slightly, your ring-clad hand reaching down to tangle in his dark hair.Â
âSo good,â you whined quietly and spared a look down at him, finding him already looking at you. His blue eyes have darkened considerably in the short amount of time heâs been home, and you were brought back to this morning for a second, when he looked at you in the exact same way he was looking at you right now. âYouâre so hot.â
And he really is; still fully dressed in the clothes he threw on this morning in his rush to leave, and going down on you within seconds of returning home.
Hayden laughed against you, making your stomach clench at both the sound and feeling, before he began to fuck his tongue in and out of you.Â
You were so worked up from before, and you had been turned on for pretty much the entire day, so you really werenât expecting to last too long at this point.Â
Usually, Hayden goes slow at first to work you up to your high, then speeds up once you seemed ready for him to do so. He likes to try and prolong this as much as he can, simply because he absolutely loves going down on you and tasting the sweetness that only belonged to you.Â
Not tonight.Â
He was determined to get you off as quick as he could, so he can do it again, and then one more time before giving you both a rest and falling asleep.Â
Hayden glanced up at you and groaned at the sight of your brows furrowed and your teeth digging into your bottom lip. âI canât believe the prettiest woman in the world is my wife,â he had to say.Â
You let out a surprised laugh and lift your head to look down at him. âYou would say something sweet at a time like this,â
He grinned, âI canât help it,â he hummed, dragging his lips back up your slit and making your whole body shudder. âYouâre just so pretty all the time.â
You were briefly brought back to when you and Hayden first got together, and he would compliment you at the most random times. He still did it, but in more appropriate settings, like when you got yourself all dolled up before going out to dinner, or whenever you tried on new lingerie for him, or when you and he found the time to have a lazy day and youâd end up going makeup free.Â
âWhen did you become such a flirt?â You find your voice to ask. âNot that Iâm complaining.â
âSince you decided to call me while I was at work and act all needy,â
His words shut you up again, and he just grinned up at you before leaning back down and sucking your clit into his mouth.Â
The sudden stimulation had you dropping back down onto the bed and letting out a cry of his name, your hand tugging on his hair as you came unexpectedly.Â
His tongue shot out to clean up any evidence of your high, the muscle rubbing against your sensitive clit and making you jolt upright. You werenât used to being overstimulated so quickly after an orgasm, but Hayden wasnât letting up.Â
He seemed persistent to prolong the pleasure that coursed through your body, and you had no choice but to lift your hips up against his mouth as you felt another knot forming a mere few seconds later.Â
Hayden pulled away from your core and crawled back up your body, keeping you stimulated by slipping his right middle and index fingers into you. He braces himself on his forearm next to your head and leans down to press a messy kiss to your mouth.Â
You moaned as you wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him closer to you. âI missed you so much today,â you nearly whispered against his lips.Â
His fingers continued to fuck into you at a slow pace, his thumb now beginning to rub soft circles against your swollen clit. âI missed you, too, baby,â he murmured and took pride in the small whimpers you let out against his lips. âI wanted to spend all day in bed with you, just like this.â
You moaned a bit louder at that. âI need you,â you whined as you lifted your hips to grind against his hand.Â
âI know. I need you, too,â he promised as he began kissing your neck. âBut Iâm going to get you off with my fingers before giving you the real thing. Gotta make up for lost time.â
You involuntarily clench around his digits, and couldnât even bring yourself to be embarrassed at the way your walls sucked them in deeper. A few more thrusts of his hand had you coming for the second time, much quicker than the first as you had been continuously stimulated since he stepped foot into the bedroom.Â
His fingers ride you through your high, before pulling out when he caught sight of the way your legs were shaking. Your core, though relieved to be receiving a bit of a break, clenched around nothing as you watched him slide his fingers into his mouth and clean up every last drop you had spilled on them.Â
âFuck,â you huffed out, bringing your hands up to run through your disheveled hair. Hayden laughed as he reached behind him to pull off the black t-shirt he was wearing, keeping eye contact with you as he let the fabric drop to the floor. âFuck.â
âIs that all you can say right now?â He asked as he popped open the button on his jeans and slowly slid the zipper down.Â
The teasing tone he was using had you squeezing your thighs shut as you stared up at him. âNo,â you muttered, fisting the comforter under you.
âNo?â He asked, tugging the jeans down just enough to expose the lining of his black boxer briefs. He kneeled on the bed again, kicking off his converse as he leaned down to press a kiss to your thigh, and then your hip. Within seconds, his arms were tucked under yours as he pulled you further up on the bed, and you gasped quietly as your head hit the pillows. âThatâs what it sounds like to me.â
You whimper as he settles his hips against yours and wraps your thighs around his waist. âPlease,â you mumble against his mouth when he leaned down to press his lips to yours. âPlease, please, fuck me, Hayden.â
He mustâve really gotten you worked up if youâve turned to begging. It wasnât often you found yourself begging for him to do anything to you, but you were needy and turned on and craving the feeling of him being buried so deep inside you, his words he said on the phone earlier making you want to keep him in bed with you forever.Â
âYeah?â He asked as he tugged at the rough edge of his jeans. âYou want me to?â
âPlease, I need it,â you moaned as he pressed his lips to the sensitive spot just below your ear. âYou said youâd do anything to be buried inside me earlier on the phone. Does that offer still stand now that youâre back home?â
Hayden muttered something under his breath as he pulled away from you to fumble with his jeans again. âYou know it does,â
You turn to look at the clock once more, seeing that it had been nearly an hour since he returned home, and nearly an hour since heâd been so adamant on getting you off in all the ways he could.Â
âWell, then. What are you waiting for?â You ask as you pull him free from his jeans, leaving them to stay constricted around hips as you wrap your hand around him. You gave him a harsh tug that had him releasing a quiet groan, before leaning up so your lips were next to his ear. âFuck me like you promised you would.â
And, really, that was all he needed.Â
Not even a second passed before he was pinning you under him by your wrists and sliding himself into your inviting walls. The both of you let out sounds of relief at the feeling of one another, and you wrap your legs tighter around his hips when he bottoms out.Â
âFinally,â he groaned once his hips were pressed to yours. Finally back where he belongs. âI missed this.â
It felt like it had been months since he had been inside you, when in reality it had only been a couple of weeks, but he had been so on edge all day that he felt so relieved to have you wrapped around him.Â
âSo good,â he muttered as he gave a sharp thrust of his hips, making a broken moan escape your mouth. âSo good, pretty girl.â
You hummed and tipped your head back against the pillows, your hands reaching up to grasp his biceps. âHayden,â you moaned when he began to slowly thrust into you. âDonât be gentle with me, I need you, need it hard.â
Like you expected, your words spur him on and his slow thrusts were replaced with sharp and hard fucks.Â
With how stimulated you already were, and how turned on he had been all day long, it was obvious this wouldnât last as long as it usually did without the teasing and previous orgasms, but neither of you cared.
His hips hit yours with a brutal force, one that has you squeezing your eyes shut as your nails dig into the skin of his arms. Hayden grunted at the sting from your nails, but he couldnât deny the pleasure he got from it as well. âThatâs right, baby,â he muttered. âMark me up. Maybe then theyâll understand why I was so pissed off when I got to set this morning after being told I had to leave you.âÂ
You moan loudly at his words, arching your back as your nails dug deeper into his skin and marked him up like he praised you to do. âFuck, Hayden,âÂ
Since your eyes were still closed, you felt his lips against yours before you were able to see him lean down and kiss you. His teeth knocked against yours every time he slid back into you, your tongues meshing against each other.Â
Your walls sucked him in deeper, your body desperate to feel every inch of him as he reached down to grip your knee and wrap your leg tighter around his waist.Â
The slight change in position had him reaching even deeper into you, and his hips stuttered when you clenched around him. The lewd sounds of your heat greedily taking him fueled him to resume the fast pace from before, and he began railing into you in a way that had you crying out against his mouth.
Your lips broke away from his and you instead latched your mouth onto his neck, sucking his skin so hard you knew there would be a pretty dark patch there by the time he was set to leave again in a few hours.Â
Hayden usually tried to keep his skin and body pretty spotless whenever he was in the middle of filming something, but right now he couldnât bring himself to care about the extra time heâd have to spend in the makeup chair so they could cover up your markings on him. If anything, it only turned him on more, if that was even possible at this point.Â
It would also further get the point across that this was what he was missing out on when he was called to set, this was what he was robbed of on his so called âday offâ with you.Â
Keeping one hand pinned next to your head, Hayden trailed his other down until his index finger was rubbing quick circles onto your throbbing clit, the poor bundle of nerves beyond spent at this point, but it felt far too good for you to get him to stop now.Â
âI love you,â he murmured directly into your ear, his voice deep and raspy as he kept your body pinned to his.Â
You whimpered and clamped down around him as you felt your third orgasm of the night wash over you in waves. Broken moans left your mouth as you held onto him with a death grip, your whole body feeling far too sensitive for you to even function properly.Â
As you shook slightly, Hayden began to pull out before he could even finish, asking, âIs it too much?â
But you just quickly shook your head and pulled him back against you, fastening your legs around his waist once again until he was situated back inside you. âNo. I love you,â you barely managed to say, your body tensing up when he began to slowly rock back into you. âWant you toâŠinside me, please.â
Unprotected sex was not a new thing in your relationship, in fact, he had only ever used a condom maybe four times in the five years heâs been with you, so your request was not uncommon. It was actually what he usually did, but he thought you needed a break from it all, hence why he was content with getting himself off with his hand after your third time coming because of him.Â
But, no.Â
You begged him to finish inside you, and you took him like the perfect wife you are, your throbbing walls begging to be painted white by him.
It all became too much, and within seconds he was coming, just like you had asked him to, with the heel of your foot digging into his lower back until he reached the deepest part of you.Â
His throaty groans had you writhing underneath him, your arms wrapping around his body when he all but collapsed against you. You ran your hands through his slightly damp hair as he lifted his head to glance at the clock, a quiet groan leaving his lips when he saw what time it was. âI need to be up and ready to leave in less than five hours,â
You grinned and peppered a few kisses along his neck. âBut it was worth it, right?â You asked, still breathless from the events that just took place.Â
Hayden was still buried to the brim inside you as he glanced down to see where the two of you connected. He bit down hard on his lip to stop the groan from tumbling out, before looking back up at your fucked out expression. âYouâre always worth it,â
Imagine if a guy that just won't get the hint that ash isn't his friend just because the guys friends hangs out with him and they are over at the house and y/n walks in the front door and walks over to ash because she's waiting for michael. And he gets an idea to tell the guy saying that one of his friends and she would totally be into him and he should shoot his shot so he would be so scared he wouldn't come back. So when she heads to mikeys room he stops her and starts flirting and she's just sitting there kinda oblivious or trying to tell him she's taken but he's not giving her a chance to speak. And Mikey can hear since they are so close to his room or ash texts him about the guy hitting on her and comes out and well goes from there.... Smut absolutely appreciated if you do this
this ask was appreciated and i definitely went overboard with it but we all know jealous!michael is my favorite michael so hehehe
in which ashtonâs friend flirts with you
Ashton was a friendly guy. But he was also friends with Michael for a reason. While he may seem nice, heâd grown up having the same kind of rebellious energy as Michael, one that often had people being intimidated by him. But unlike Michael who people feared, it just seemed to make guys want to be his friend. They found interest in the strength he exuded. Perhaps thatâs why he and Michael were so close too.Â
So he was still one of the most revered men on campus but he was also pleasant enough that people still found him approachable. And he liked the friendship opportunities he had because of it. The perks he could have from those friendships â invites to parties, free drinks, the girls. Even if those opportunities sometimes came because people thought they could get closer to Michael through him.Â
But just because he gave chances to hang out with him to even the most unpredictable of guys didnât mean he considered all of them friends. No, that was a title that was earned.Â
Maybe he was just being nice, maybe heâd get bored of some people. Either way, everyone knew being his friend was something for only a select few. And yet, maybe that particular piece of gossip hadnât reached the ears of the freshmen, Hunter, currently sitting on his couch. He hadnât invited him over. He was certain because heâd gotten tired of the little freshie following him like a puppy, talking like they were buddies weeks ago. And yet he kept coming up to him like they were best friends, even declaring it himself to others as Ashton had heard from others on campus.Â
It wasnât that he was a bad guy, kind of dense and couldnât take a hint but not a bad person. But Ashton should have known better than being nice to someone so much younger, so much more immature. He was too talkative, too much of a try-hard. Even for the tastes of a man as patient as Ashton. He was annoying.
But heâd arrived to his house a few hours earlier and Ashton was not yet as mean as Michael was to kick him out. So instead he had to stop himself from rolling his eyes as Hunter kept talking to him about who knows what and stop himself from bristling when he took a hold of his precious game controllers that he only ever allowed the people he liked most to hold. Hunter definitely didnât fit that category. Somehow, he must still look like that laid-back cool guy everyone knew him as because Hunter seemed at ease.
Ashton was almost too grateful when Hunter suddenly shut up to realize the reason why. Until he looked behind him at what had Hunter so preoccupied when he turned and stopped to stare. He saw you walk through the main door, keys Michael had given you in your hand. You were smiling like you usually were, the smile that lit up your entire face and made you seem like sunshine personified. And with the pleated skirt you had on, it seemed to solidify the picture perfect innocence you radiated. No matter how short it was.Â
But Ashton wasnât paying attention to all that. He knew well the allure you had with men â the pretty, shy, nice girl that was so easy to imagine in more profane ways. The one who no one could imagine had such a scary, mean, cruel man behind her as the owner of her heart. Itâd led a lot of men to broken bones and bloody noses. Their fantasies were useless anyway. Whatever they imagined with you, Michel had already achieved. And the innocent little girl they saw wasnât so much that anymore. Corrupted. You were already taken, claimed, and in the eyes of Michael and everyone who knew how serious your relationship was, you were as good as married.
But he was long immune to your beauty especially when he couldnât see you with those eyes. Instead, he watched with amusement at the look in Hunterâs eyes as he took you in. The wide eyed attraction that was hard to conceal, the silence of a boy completely entranced by a girl he knew was out of his league. But if Ashton knew anything about the annoying boy beside him, it was that he was too juvenile to realize when he shouldnât even try.Â
Maybe Ashton should warn him, what is bound to happen if he got too close to you. But, Ashton thought with mischief, that scare and brush with death might be just what he needs to get the freshman out of his life without having to be a jackass and force him out himself. Plus, itâd be pretty funny to watch unfold. Michael was just so easy to piss off. Especially when it came to you.
You were placing your keys back in your bag as you walked closer to the living room and closer to Ashton and Hunter. Your hair flowing around your shoulders. âHi, Ash.â You said softly, your voice sweet.Â
Ashton smiled up at you, finally finding an excuse to abandon the game controller to the game he hadnât even wanted to play. âHey.â He touched your arm in acknowledgment and he tried not to laugh when he saw Hunterâs eyes glued to where he had touched your skin. As if in awe.
You ruffled Ashtonâs hair in greeting, your smile beaming to the boy next to him. You were never one to ignore someone or make them feel excluded even if you didnât know them. But you also werenât one to care much about going out of your way to make friends with other men. Especially knowing your boyfriend. So you didnât talk to Hunter. Instead, you went to the kitchen to get yourself a glass of water.
That pure smile however seemed to be enough for Hunter. Enough for him to feel special and for his interest in you to solidify â and turn urgent it seems because immediately once you left the living room, he turned to Ashton. He liked you. In fact, he was smitten. Just with one smile. âWho is that?â
Ashton vaguely hoped he wasnât that predictable and obvious when he was a freshman. But he couldnât say he blamed Hunter either. You were beautiful. âHer?â Ashton knew he was going to be playing with this boy and he might have felt bad if it werenât so fun. âOh thatâs Y/N. Sheâs a good friend of mine.â
âDude sheâs so hot.â Hunter looked at him like Ashton was the luckiest man in the universe. But then he looked apprehensive. âAre you two likeâŠtogether? Because Iâm totally into her, sheâs completely my type but I can back off ifââ
As if he would have a chance either way. But Ashton just shook his head emphatically. Technically it was true, he hadnât asked if you had a boyfriend. He threw an arm around Hunterâs shoulder for good measure, leaning in to whisper conspiratorially. âNo, weâre just friends. Donât worry about that. In fact, go for it. I think you might be her type.âÂ
âReally?â
The hope in his tone almost had Ashton giggling. But he just kept nodding seriously. âYeah sheâd be totally into you.â
When in fact your type seemed to be centered around a certain tattooed bad boy but heâd find that out soon enough. In fact, Asthon was counting on it. Because after that meeting, he could stop being plagued by this boy. Heâd be too terrified to even try to come over again. Thereâs no way Hunter could even imagine what was about to come, who your boyfriend was. It was impossible to guess when just looking at your sweet nature.
It was too bad he was so new to campus, only a month into the semester. Thereâs no way heâs heard about Michael, at least not to the full, real extent of what he was known for. And definitely no way for him to know or recognize you as his girlfriend. His girlfriend who he loved and was very protective over. Some might say, was dangerous over. He may not even know what Michael looked like, only heard whispers of his name like a legend. Because the fear of Michael wasnât just his strength or near savage violent person or cruelty or hostility, it was also the look of him. Covered in tattoos, towering and with knuckles that were nearly always bruised, showing exactly what he was capable of.
When you finally came back to the living room, you barely stopped your path directed straight to Michaelâs room. You just said a quick goodbye to Ashton. âIâm going to go see Mikey, Iâll see you later.â
Ashton was thankful you didnât say Michaelâs full name so as to not alert Hunter of his devious plan but he might have had nothing to worry about either way because Hunter seemed too busy in his fantasies with you to notice. That or maybe he was hyping himself up to have the confidence to talk to you. He had stood up right as you moved by and past the couch. But he didnât move until you were almost to Michaelâs door.
âWait!â He called out. Hunter moved to stand in front of you and between you and Michaelâs door. Blocking you from going to Michael was sure to be a strike against him when that door opened.Â
You blinked as he smiled nervously down at you. âHi! IâmâIâm Hunter.â
Your smile was confused but kind anyway. âHi HunterâŠIâm Y/N, nice to meet you.â
Ashton watched as Hunterâs boyish charming smile made its way to you, completely unaware that it would have no effect on you. He had no trouble sending a man your way even with his loyalties to his best friend. He knew you would never be interested in anyone other than Michael, no one could ever compare to him for you. This wouldnât be an obstacle, just an entertaining sideshow. At least entertaining for him, Michael wouldnât quite agree.
âI havenât seen you around campus before.â Hunter was good at opening conversation. Heâd give him that. Maybe thatâs why heâd gotten roped into being around him more than he wanted. âAnd I think Iâd notice seeing you before.â
You cocked your head, either completely oblivious to his flirting or ignoring it as a nuisance. âOh. Well itâs a pretty big university.âÂ
But the way Hunter was staring at you, taking your face in almost hungrily, made it clear he didnât really listen to your answer. This was all just a formality to him. His confidence, or cockiness, at eventually winning you over was hilarious. âAshton didnât tell me he had such a beautiful friend. I wouldâve definitely come over a lot more often.â He smiled like that was a joke but Ashton tried not to shudder at the thought. Having to hang out with him more? That wouldâve driven him insane.
You blinked at the compliment, âThatâs sweet, thank you.â You said. You were so naive, confusing niceties and attraction.
Hunter nodded, âWhy donât you hang out with us for a while so we can get to know each other a little more? Iâd love to, you know, be close to another person on campus.â
Your eyes widened a bit, maybe finally realizing where the intentions of the young boy in front of you were. But still too nice to want to kill his dreams, rather just letting him down easily. âOh, I canât. Iâm actually going to my bââ
Hunter placed a hand on Michaelâs doorframe and leaned against it, nonchalant. âYeah, Iâm actually a pledge for Pike like 2 minutes down the road. Itâs no big deal or anything but I can get you into their party tonight if you want. I can give you a tour of the place.â
Ashton was sure he would love to give you a âtourâ.Â
Oh this was just getting better. The more he babbled, the more embarrassingly close he was to confessing, the angrier and scarier Michael would be. Youâd control him but not enough for Ashtonâs indirect message to be missed â to leave and never return.Â
And his attempt at flirting was just a few inches from Michaelâs door.Â
You looked uncomfortable and Ashton felt just a little bad for you. But it was a necessary evil. Your eyes darted to Ashton quickly for help, for his interruption and for him to get his friend away from you before anything worse happened to him. But you seemed to realize that whatever was happening had started with your troublemaking friend because instead of standing and coming to your aid like he always did when you needed it, he looked away as if he was distracted by a floating piece of dust. Innocently guilty.
So you were forced to just look back at the poor boy in front of you with a strained smile. You hated being flirted with by anyone other than Michael, they somehow all made you feel icky and offended. Especially when they knew nothing about you and tried to impress you with things you hated. âNo, I have a boyfââ
âOr we can have other types of fun, whatever you're intoâŠâ
You took a deep breath, and released an even deeper sigh. âLike Iâm trying to say, Iâm takenââ
But he interrupted you again, never giving you a chance to speak as if that would make you more likely to say yes. Ashton for his part did what any loyal friend would do. And definitely not what an instigating rascal would do. He texted his best friend, your boyfriend, to let him know you needed help.Â
ash
someoneâs hitting on y/n, come out of your room before he steals your girl ;)
The wink might have been too teasing but it got the message across. Or rather, accelerated it. Because with Hunter so close to his door, it was impossible for Michael not to hear his pathetic attempt of flirting. Even over his loud music. But it was easy for him to not hear the girl who he was talking to respond. Your soft voice so easily masked.Â
Until he started getting a sense that you shouldâve arrived by then, that in all likelihood the girl the loud mouthed freshman was so desperately trying to win over was you. His girlfriend. When he finally heard your unmistakable voice when he lowered the volume of his music, attempting multiple times to reject his advancements, at the same time he received Ashtonâs text, he was up immediately.Â
He yanked open the door to his room so fast Hunter jumped in surprise. And he finally got to see the wimp that thought he was anywhere worthy to have your attention, let alone your affection. Especially when you already had him as a boyfriend.
But all he saw was the boy being what stood in between you and him, he was preventing you from reaching Michael. While he flirted with his girlfriend. In Michaelâs own fucking house.
Michael vaguely found victory in the way Hunter took him in once he turned around. Eyes wide, scared for a moment at his sadistic appearance, looking up at him to his much taller height. But Michael wanted to see him tremble once he realized he had been flirting with his girl. Heâd settle with just seeing him bleed on the ground, though.Â
And as if you knew what he was thinking, just like his precious girl knew him so well, you called out his name. Right about at the same time Michael shoved Hunter back so hard he hit the wall with all the air in his lungs leaving him. He hit his head but honestly you were grateful Michael hadnât opted to punching him.
Instead, he used his daunting height to his advantage to completely tower over the already cowering boy. âDonât ever fucking flirt with my girl again.âÂ
The chill that ran through Hunterâs entire being at his gravely voice, promising that the threat was very much real with this tattooed man had him stuttering out. âWhâI didnât know she was taken dude promise! Ashton tell him! I thought she was single.â
But Ashton was sauntering into the kitchen, lifting his eyebrows innocently. âOh man, did I forget to mention she had a boyfriend? Oops! Must have slipped my mind.âÂ
Michael didnât seem to care despite Hunterâs betrayed eyes because he took a hold of the back of Hunterâs neck in a way that Hunter was sure would bruise later. He was already crying out in pain at his strong grip. âReally? Because I fucking heard her say she was claimed. Were you too busy imagining your little tour with her at Pike?â
Hunterâs eyes widened. He had a feeling of a mouse stuck at the paws of his predator. And the life-threatening fear he felt was really similar. He was a guy, fights werenât something he was completely foreign to. They were rare but heâs always put up his own. Yet, college really was a world of its own. Because heâd never had someone look like they want him dead as much as the biggest, tattooed older guy in front of him. His grip and muscles were enough to tell him Michael was stronger. The amount of tattoos enough to let him know he didnât mind pain. And the possessive anger in his face enough to tell him heâd made a mistake the moment he opened his mouth to talk to you.
In his defense, even if he had known you had a boyfriend, there was no way he would have thought youâd be taken by someone like him. The difference as he glanced at your worried doe-eyes was jarring. Though, it made sense why Michael seemed so protective over you when it came to other men. But that was his second mistake, looking at you again.
Because Michael dealt him a big punch across his face. And in Michaelâs defense no matter how much harder he could have hit, he made the punch one of his less impactful for the idiotic freshman. But still, it was enough to knock Hunter to the ground with deep yelps of pain.Â
âMichael!â You cried out, pushing him away from the poor boy and he let you.Â
He hadnât been planning on punching him. He really hadnât, for your sake. You hated that kind of scary violence, especially when it came from the man you loved. It wasnât a side of him you relished in. Yet, seeing him look at you again, knowing what thoughts, what plans, he had for you just seconds before with Michael just a few feet away had him seeing red. He hated men who thought they could take you away from him, no matter if even Michael himself knew he didnât deserve you, the thought that someone could woo you in a way his emotionally stunted self could fail at was a threat, a fear. And heâd be damned if anyone ever got to have you like he did. Especially not this weak boy.
Michael hadnât finished with him. âNow get the fuck out of my house.âÂ
Hunter picked himself up and ran out with the fear of the teenage boy he still was. You felt almost bad for him. You knew he really hadnât been aware, just lured to his punishment by an annoyed troublemaker. Though you couldnât feel too bad for a boy that ignored your attempts of letting him know you had a boyfriend. One who proposed âfunâ with a sickly innuendo that made you shudder. It was so easy to forget how sleazy boys your age were when you had Michael who respected you so much.
By the time the door slammed shut, Ashton was already at the window, watching until he seemed satisfied that Hunter was long gone.
âAsh!â Michael barked out and Ashton âhmmâed in response. Sauntering back to you as his masterplan just worked itself out. âNext time control your fucking guests before I beat the shit out of them.â
Ashton was all smiles as he patted Michael on the shoulder. âWill do, bud. Now that heâs gone though Iâm gonna go have some real fun. Thanks for the help.â
And he may just be the only guy immune to Michaelâs suspicious glare because all he did was take his wallet from his room and strolled out of the house. You rolled your eyes. At times like this, it was so easy to see why Ashton and Michael were such good friends.
Michael took your wrist and all but dragged you into his room, his door slamming shut. Maybe anyone else would be afraid of the dark look in his eyes, his angry breaths. Especially when in front of someone so much weaker, smaller. But you just looked up at him with the most innocent expression you could muster.Â
âIâI tried to tell him.â Your voice was small, hands trailing up his chest.Â
But your gentleness wasnât enough to dissuade his jealousy, his anger. He took a hold of your hair, pulling and forcing your face to tilt up more to him. You couldnât help your raspy moan at the roughness.
âTell him what?â He wanted to hear you say it. And you did.
âThatâThat Iâm yours.â Your voice came out weak, breathy. But Michaelâs hold on you got stronger, his face so close as he looked down at you and you could see the pleasure he got at your words, at knowing you had no issues telling other men that very same thing.
âI canât even leave you alone in my own fucking house without assholes trying to flirt with my girl.â He was still mad, at being disrespected just a few inches away from his room, from the jealousy that enters him every time someone looks and approaches you with lust. The need to claim you for the world to see because evidently what he had already done was not enough. âMaybe I need to mark you up more.â
Though you had been so focused on easing his anger, on reassuring him that he had nothing to be jealous of, you couldnât tell him just how much you wanted that.Â
His lips were on your neck hungrily, sucking, nipping, and kissing hickies into your skin that he made sure were impossible to fully hide. And all you did was turn your head to give him more space, eyes closed at the pleasure of the sensation.Â
âThey should know by now, that youâre fucking mine.â The possessiveness in his voice made even you shiver. It sounded deadly.Â
He cut off a whimper from you when he finally kissed your lips, so hard you thought theyâd be bruised. Definitely swollen by the way he kissed you hungrily, lips nipping yours, tongue exploring your mouth. It was feverish, it was fast and rough. If it was any indication of what would happen next, you moaned in anticipation.Â
You gasped into his mouth when he lifted you up, arms around your waist as he brought you up to his level, the kiss much easier then. Your legs wrapped around his waist and you moved forward, deeper into the kiss but no matter your involvement, his mouth â him in general â was always the one dominating the moment. But you were more than willing to let him, especially with the great need filling his dangerously jealous and possessive mind, to assert his dominance, his claim over you. The one that had been challenged, uselessly and disrespectfully, just moments before. As if you would ever be anything but his ever again. He was never letting you go, youâd been his from the moment you laid eyes on him for the first time â even if neither of you knew it then.
Your fingers were running in his soft hair, tugging just slightly as your lips moved against each other. You barely even felt him move to the bed but you felt the mattress touch your legs as he sat down with you on his lap, still wrapped around him. His kisses were fervent, leaving you feeling almost breathless until your tongues were clashing hungrily. Small moans escaped you.Â
You felt his hands take a hold of your hips, hard, moving yours against his groin. But it only took that invitation for your small hips to start humping against him desperately. You gasped at the friction, pulling away just to throw your head back. He wasnât even filling you up yet and you were already so responsive.Â
âThatâs right, grind on my cock, little one.â He wanted to see you weak for him, needed to see how much you needed him. He nipped at your neck before pulling away just enough for you to pull his shirt off over his head and your hands fumbled to help him. Anything to get his perfect body and beautiful, scary ink to fill your eyesight. You practically drooled at the sight of him. How could anyone thing to compare when your boyfriend looked this hot, this intimidating that your heart was racing.
His hands then moved to your body, peeling off your small crop top and it only took a second more for his skilled hands to undo your bra and send it flying. Exposing you for his eyes, something others could only fantasize but he could have. Could touch, squeeze, lick, suck. His luck seemed to inflate his pride to new depths.Â
âFucked himself over for nothing, isnât that right? Youâll never be with that pathetic loser or anyone else. Not when youâre already such a needy little thing for me.â And then, almost like it was said more for himself than anything, âMine.â
âNever.â You were breathless.
âGood girl.â And your response, with your easy rejection of the poor guy, deserved a reward. You had been so good. You deserved to have your pussy filled up â who, along with you and the sweet innocent version of yourself others see, you remembered belonged to him so well in front of that boy and let him know as much. Your pussy who was so used to having him inside of you in moments like these to claim, to reassure, that he couldnât imagine doing anything but give it what it needs. Especially when its molded to his size, to him.Â
You suddenly felt him lift you off of him. Tattooed arm around your waist, he lifted you enough for him to be able to undo his jeans, push them and his underwear down to free himself for you.
When he settled you back down in his lap, your skirt fanned out so your panty-covered pussy was directly against his length. And the delicious contact, that just sent your mind thinking to what was to come when there wasnât anything between you, had you grinding back against him, along his exposed girth. Your eyes rolled back at the sensation that your sensitive nub could feel tingling your entire body.Â
Instead of Michael ridding you of your much-too-short-anyway skirt that he could imagine just how mesmerized the flapping of the pleats had Hunter, he just pushed it up enough to expose your panties to his eyes. You barely had a chance to blink before you heard the ripping.Â
You gasped and the weak moan that escaped you was unstoppable at this exhibit of strength, of the same strength he used to fuck up men who got too close. And the angry eyes that made you shiver in the best way. Maybe you shouldnât be attracted to such possessiveness but you felt yourself getting wetter and your pussy clench for him. You needed him.
Michael held your waist as he moved your now bare pussy to be impaled with his hard cock. He didnât slide in slowly, his anger, his jealousy had him slamming you down onto him and watched with pleasure as you closed your eyes and moaned out at finally feeling him stretch you out so deep. You loved the roughness he was handling you with.
âClaim yourself on my cock.â Claim yourself as mine. Just as you had to Hunterâs face. But this time, he wanted to claim you in the most intimate way only he had and ever will be able to. And you wanted to be claimed.Â
He wanted you to demonstrate just who you belonged to, a big fuck you to the universe with you very own actions, to anyone who thought you would ever want anyone else or deserved anyone else. Not when you were already a slut for him, when you were already brainless for his cock and his corruption.Â
Only heâd have you like this, only he could. He felt pride at having what they wanted but he also hated that in othersâ minds, they thought there was a possibility of otherwise. When there wasnât and there never would be. Not when he had you this weak, not when he has already gotten to the innocent girl they fantasized about first and tainted, claimed, her with his mark so no one else would ever have her, so youâd be his completely. Your pureness and your love already belonged to this rough man. No one would ever change that. Not anymore, Michael would never let his angel go, no matter if he didnât deserve you. Everyone else was too late. Youâd chosen him and he had no problems reminding the world and the weak assholes who forgot or needed to be shown that despite your differences, you were his.Â
Even if that meant fucking you and marking you again to remind the world. And solidify for you, what you had tried to tell Hunter.Â
You obeyed him so well, you did exactly what he had wanted you to prove to himself and everyone else. Hands on his shoulders for leverage as you lifted yourself up, mewling at the sensation of him rubbing against your warm and wet walls. The sensation of being stuffed even when you moved so only half of him was inside of you and the exhilaration of feeling filled when you moved down again to have his cock touch the deepest parts of your cunt.Â
And then you were bouncing on his lap.Â
The skirt that Hunter had been so enamored to watch was now flapping in time with your bounces as you buried him inside of you. You were blushing as you rode him, cute moans tumbling from your lips and Michael could just curse at the pleasure of feeling your walls around him. You looked so innocent even when doing something so dirty. The innocent girl they saw in the most lewd position just for him. Giving yourself to him. While they did not even cross your mind. Your mind only filled with himhimhim. And this pleasure. Heâd ruined you and you loved it. He had the girl Hunter had wanted, desperately getting off on his cock, moaning for him, claiming herself as his in a way that no one would ever be able to deny. You greedily taking his cock into your pussy in euphoria.
Your hands were on his abdomen for support as you spread yourself apart on his cock. Leaving his length wetter each time you took him in and out. âSo goodâahâit feels so good. I can feel you so deep.âÂ
He reached so deep inside of you, you felt the blinding pleasure as he reached your deepest parts, as he filled you up so there was no space â just his cock spreading apart your walls. And it felt so good. It felt good to be riding him, feeling and looking so small on top of his daunting build, taking him as well as your little body could. But the tight fit had Michael groaning, the way you looked so cute on his cock â reaffirming to both of you that his cock you gave the privilege to be inside of you.
âWho do you fucking belong to, huh, little one?â He held your face in his hand roughly, forcing you to watch him as you fucked yourself on him. As his cock claimed what was his. And the pissed off look in his eyes only had you whimpering and rolling your hips against him.Â
âIâm yours, Mikey. Yoursyours. I belong to this cock âso bigâ all of me. No one else can have me. Iâll tell them next time, t-to stay away because my big, mean boyfriend is so-so much better than they are. You fuck me so much b-better than anyone else can.â
âFuck.â Michael breathed out, âThatâs fucking right, baby girl. Keep riding me, keep showing me whose you are.â
The bed was shaking with your increasingly desperate hips. You wanted to show him you were his, you wanted to feel his cock hitting that spot over and over again, you wanted to feel his length rubbing your walls and bottoming out more and more. So you rode him faster.Â
Your boobs bounced along with you, as each time you drove him inside of you, balls deep. You threw your head back, fingers curling as you squeezed your walls against him, suffocating him even more. Michael gripped your waist again, his heavily inked arms clashing against your bare skin. The sight was hot. The sight of his tattooed and sinful hands touching you so intimately, so lewdly in a way that he had introduced your previously untouched body to. In a way you loved. His corruption, his destruction of you for anyone else except him, it made you whimper in pleasure.
You werenât sure if he thrusted up into you or if he began moving you in his own faster pace up and down on his girth. Or both. All you knew was that you were going a bit mindless in his lap as the pace quickened and you had him hammering in and out of you, fast and rough.
Your gaspy moans turned into screams of his name. Michael took the opportunity to lean down, wrapping his mouth around one of your tits. Another privilege to your body only he would ever have. He sucked at it as his hips thrusted up into your wetness. His tongue licking at your nipple as the sound of slapping skin increased in the room, joining the sound of your moans and slopping juices.Â
You pushed your chest forward, giving him more access to your bare breasts, invitingly. He nipped at your boobs before switching to the other one, all the while hammering into you from below.Â
âI bet this is what that idiot was imagining doing to you. But here you are, letting the guy who punched him in his dumb face fuck you stupid â use you â just a few minutes later.â His smile against your tits was as cruel as his words. The dangerous jealousy at the thought of you in othersâ minds in that way â of others approaching you with that in mind â only had him want to go rougher. And he did. Your tits were covered in his spit by the time he tangled his hand in your hair and pulled, leaving you stuttering and looking up at him.Â
âDaddyâ You were whining.
âIf they saw the way your cunt was taking my dick right now, how youâre crying out like a little slut for me, what you look like covered in my cum, those fuckers would know they couldnât even look at you if they knew what was good for them.â
The reminder of his dominance, not only over you in ever sense of the word but over other men â or boys, your mind all but sneered, at least compared to him â had jolts of pleasure shaking your body. Though he largely was setting the pace and fucking into you now, you tried to move your hips as best you could to meet his thrusts, to show him just how good his words made you feel, how hot they were to hear, how hot he was.
He brought you closer to him, your face in the crook of his neck, as he held you still for once so he could fully fuck up into you. His hips slamming into yours with a familiarity you basked in. Your moans turned into higher pitched screams as he finally took full control and rocked your body with his delicious thrusts, entering your small hole like it belonged to him â because it did. All you could do was lean into him weakly, your body submitting so perfectly for him to use, enjoying the pleasure his cock gave you with each thrust.Â
He was in charge, despite you being on top. And you gladly gave him that power. It felt so good â you felt so good for him as he held you with tense muscles at the pleasure flowing through him at your tight walls around him, at your moans for him. He was fucking you so good and the charged energy between you, his possessive jealousy only made it better.
âYouâre mine little one. Youâre fucking mine, and no one will ever get to have you like this. No one else can make you feel as good as I can.â
His words were growled out and you clenched your walls around him into an even tighter fit than before. His thrusts became more punctuated to still squeeze into you at the fast pace he had taken up. The rhythmic feeling of him bottoming out into you, feeling him all the way in your abdomen and the lights in your vision when he reached your every crevices had you gasping out. You were so close, you could feel the warmth pooling in your belly. And as he felt your walls pulse around him, as if begging to milk him for his cum, to keep him inside of you for when that happens, he could feel himself fighting back his early release.
âOh, you like that?â He said, your bodyâs reaction was obvious. âYou like me reminding you that you're mine â reminding them that youâll never be interested in their pathetic attempts of flirting when you already have me? You like seeing me fuck them up for even trying?â
All you could do was nod rapidly at his words. You suckled at his neck as your body racked with his continuous pounding. So rough, you couldnât even really formulate words anymore without stuttering and moaning. But it was enough for Michael.
âFuck yeah. Shit, keep taking my cock just like that.â His own voice was breathless, gruff. His arousal, his dominance, his jealousy intermixing. "Youâre so wet, itâs dripping off my fucking cock, little one. Is it because you liked me seeing me fuck him up for even talking to you or because Iâm fucking you so well â making you mine.â His hand came up to your neck, wrapping around and forcing you back to look into his eyes. âOr was it that asshole thatâs got you this hot?â
His grip tightened around your throat just a bit, enough to tell you that he wanted an answer, that he wanted to hear you deny another man again. You didnât even hesitate to shake your head, a weak word escaping you. âNo.â
It was only ever him. And you watched the pride filling his eyes as they stared into your submissive debauched gaze. He tapped your cheek just once with his palm before going back to choking you deliciously. And you knew what to do without him having to ask.Â
You opened your mouth, tongue out in the lewdest expression Michael loved to see, especially when you were being filled with his dick and especially when on your face that normally looked so wholesome, so pure. He loved to see that ruined by his hand.
Tilting your head up with his tight grip on your throat, he spit into your mouth and watched as you whimpered out a moan and swallowed it as he bounced you on his dick with his fast and expert hips.Â
âThatâs right, youâre doing so well for me.â
He wasnât sure if it was the praise that finally had you reaching your breaking point but you cried out.
âOh myââ You were nearly screaming against clenched teeth. âPlease, daddy, Iâm so close. Keep-keep fucking me.â
Your words sounded slurred and honestly, you couldnât even think. You were slowly going brainless with how good he was fucking you, how good his cock felt inside of you as he thrusted.
Michaelâs eyes trailed down your naked body. Naked except for the useless skirt that he had pushed up to your waist so it did nothing to cover your drooling cunt that was taking him so well. Looking split open and stuffed as your small body took every inch of his dick like he almost couldnât fit, a cock too big for your small pussy and lithe size but you were his anyway.Â
The sight was beautiful, seeing you connected, seeing the lewd sight of you being defiled and taken by someone who wasnât treating you gently and didnât deserve you â someone you would likely have been warned to stay away from. But he had gotten you, tainted you. And he was destroying you with his cock anyway.Â
But your skirt did such a good job at fooling others including men like Hunter, looking so cute and modest except for its length. That was why he didnât take it off of you, he wanted to see it in this context, see him ruining that facade, with your hips rolling needily and his dick between your legs right below it.
âI canât fucking leave you alone. Maybe theyâll finally get it when I fuck a baby into you. Hm? When they see you pregnant and round and theyâll see that Iâm the one that youâre always going to be connected to, the one that fucked you full. The one you chose.â
The thought of you getting pregnant by him, the thought of the claim he wanted to leave on you was enough for you to start spasming on his lap, gasping as your warmth clenched and unclenched around him. The fantasy was too much, the possessive, delicious way he was fucking you was too much. You came around him as you ground your hips down on his cock, feeling the stimulation at the action.
âYes, chose you.â You breathed out. You leaned down to kiss him, open mouthed and uncoordinated as the pleasure crashed throughout your body. But his strong hands on your hips had you keep bouncing up and down on his cock as you rode out your orgasm.Â
Even at the squelching sound as your cum coated the base of his dick, even as his own grunts grew harsher at the feeling of your tightness around him, at your words, at his own fantasy in fully claiming you. You felt it when his thrusts became more punctuated until he finally came inside of you. The sensation alone, the privilege other boys could barely even imagine but one he had with you so easily through your love and trust, had him cumming hard.Â
But he didnât stop thrusting, not completely, even as he came, even as you were being filled up with his cum. He wanted you full of his seed, he wanted you bred and leaking as a reminder that you were his. He didnât care if he felt the sore overstimulation. He was marking you inside and out and giving you what you deserved. With how good this felt, how you were being satisfied, youâd never consider any other man, just like how you didnât today.Â
He took in the way you moaned at the feeling of his cum filling you up. When he pulled you off of him, he watched the way your wrecked body still trembled from the thorough fucking you had just taken. He watched his cum and yours intermix at your entrance, leaving you smeared and his cum covering what was his.
The sight, the very embodiment of you being his, had Michael groaning out. He had an urge to take a picture, to remind any guy who thought he even had a chance with you how little possibility there actually was. Because it was his cum that was inside you, that covered you â you were his, every part of you. The lewd sight had his possessive heart growing.
And even in your tired, panting body, you still brought his face back down to yours once he laid you down and kissed him deeply. âYou didnât have anything to worry about, Mikey. You never will. I love you.â
Michael nuzzled against your cheek, so different from the violent boy he was in front of others. The reassurance more than enough to send his cold heart racing. You had been so good, you hadnât shyed away from telling Hunter who you had belonged to from the very beginning and let yourself be marked, begged for it. âI love you too, baby. But Iâm not going to stop reminding those bastards that youâre mine, especially if another one gets that close to my girl again.â
You hummed and Michael was vaguely waiting for you to chastise him on his violence but it never came. âYou donât have to stop. You were hot when you finally got him to back off, he wasnât even listening to me. But you were soâŠpowerful in front of him.â Your hands trailed down his muscled arm.Â
Michael raised an eyebrow. Coming from his sweet, peaceful girlfriend, your almost lustful words and gaze at the thought of him being so aggressive and angry was surprising. His dirty girl. It seems he had tainted even your morals. But the thought of him being able to bend your beliefs and desires just for him sent a jolt of arousal through him again. âYeah? You liked watching me put them in their place for you?â
You nodded, biting your lip. Sure, watching him punch Hunter was scary but after being talked over, being objectified, to see your boyfriend minimize him felt satisfying, the dominance he exuded even to others. And knowing you were his, that he would be able to protect you, to claim you, was even more arousing.
You didnât feel it when Michael spread your legs again, but you watched as he traveled down your body to your sore pussy. Your back arched when his lips were on you, his tongue delving into your messy cunt.Â
Your eyes closed as you moaned out, hands in his hair. This was another reason you didnât mind his jealousy, you loved it actually. This pleasure that he gave you when he needed to strengthen his claim on you, as if you even needed a reminder. Other men were nothing in your eyes â especially compared to him. But youâd always be happy to let him use you anyway, youâd happily take the unneeded reminder.

Your freshly painted red nails traced the top of the bar as you held eye contact with a smirking Penny. Out of the corner of your eye you could see the movement of her hand as she wiped away the remnants of spilled beer on the surface.
Watching as her eyes flickered behind you a few times, a glint of mischief in them as she seems to have a silent and wordless conversation with someone just across the bar, you know she wants you to cave in and turn around.
You knew who held contact with her when she wasnât looking at you. It was the same person who was talking to her in the wordless conversation as his mouth opened to sing the lyrics of a song.
The same person who was burning a hole in your back from all his staring.
Still, you refused to meet the eyes of the unbelievably attractive man sitting at the piano. Refused to play into his games and his heated stare.
The song wrapped up a few minutes later and you brought the glass of vodka-cranberry up to your lips, the sound of the large ring adoring your finger hitting the glass barely being heard throughout the Hard Deck.Â
Penny watched something behind you, the movement of her eyes telling you that the hot performer was currently making his way towards the bar.Â
You were proven right when you felt the heat of his body radiate onto yours as he leaned on the bar next to you. âHey, pretty girl,â
From your spot on the stool, his height easily towered over you and intimidated you in the best way. âHi,â came your short and sharp response.
Penny gave the two of you a knowing look and slid him a beer before moving to the other end of the bar. His hands wrapped around the cold glass as he brought it up to his lips for a quick sip, turning his body towards you after he set it back down. âI couldnât help but notice that you never turned to look at me while I was playing. Not even once,â his deep voice accused in a teasing tone. âYou missed quite the show.â
One corner of your lips turned upwards as you glanced over at him, keeping your hands wrapped around your drink. âDid I?â You ask, feigning innocence. When he nodded once and inched closer, you tilt your head as you apologize, âI am awfully sorry. I just didnât want to distract you while you were showing off.â
He matches your smirk. âIf thatâs the case, you probably should have stayed home,â he leaned in to brush his lips against your ear. ââCause I had my eyes on you the whole time.â
You raise a brow when he pulls back and brings the beer to his lips once again, his tongue running over his mustache afterwards. Biting your tongue to stop the sound from leaving your mouth at the sight, you turn your body to face him fully. âDid you?â You ask and hear him hum in response, keeping his head forward as he runs his finger around the rim of the glass. âI guess Iâll have to make it up to you.â
Placing your hand on his chest, you bunch the fabric of his hawaiian button up between your fingers and pull him towards you. His attention leaves his drink completely as you tug him forward and he turns his head just as you lean up and press your lips to his.Â
Your ring-clad hand slides upwards and wraps around the back of his neck while both of his grip the sides of your face. He turns your body and presses your back against the side of the bar top with little effort, and his strength, mixed with the feeling of his lips, makes you feel dizzy.Â
With his chest pressed to yours, and your back pressed to the bar, you had barely enough room to breathe as you pulled away from the kiss that was quickly becoming too heated to be acceptable in public.Â
Keeping your hand on his neck, you allow your fingers to gently play with the strands of hair that littered the back of it as you gaze up at the prettiest pair of brown eyes you had ever seen.Â
You werenât surprised to find him already staring down at you. As you hold eye contact, a grin grows on his lips as he brushes his nose against yours. âHi, pretty girl,â
âHi, baby,â you murmur back, watching as his face flushes with a grin at the pet name.
âNot in public,â he mumbled, his fingers softly caressing your jaw.Â
âWhy not?â You purr, placing your other hand on his hip, squeezing just slightly as you continued, âAfraid your masculine image will be ruined if one of the guys hears me call you that?âÂ
He shakes his head, drawing you closer to him. âNo,â he answers truthfully, his hands sliding down to gently press against the base of your throat. âYou know what it does to me.â
You smirk at that and sway your head to the side to rid the fallen strands of hair from your face. âThat I do,â you nod in agreement. âItâs why I say it.â
Bradley grunts quietly, placing his hands on the bar on either side of you. âYouâre the worst,âÂ
âYou love me anyway,â you give his hip another squeeze.Â
âThat I do,â he repeats your words before closing the distance once more and connects your lips in a searing kiss. Your hands settle on his chest while his grips your waist, his fingers bunching up your pretty white sundress.Â
Tilting your head to the side, you allow his tongue to poke out and part your lips before meeting your own. The muscles slide against one another easily and skillfully, this clearly not being your first heated bar makeout.Â
The kiss was becoming borderline inappropriate as he tugs you impossibly closer to him, his hands sliding up your back while yours grab onto his shoulders.Â
Forgetting that you two were currently in a very public setting, you pull away with a blush when you hear Pennyâs voice from behind you, âAlright, lovebirds, break it up before things turn a bit too R-rated for my patrons to handle,â she teases, tossing a cloth over her shoulder as she braces herself against the other side of the bar. âYou and I both know your friends are children stuck in adult bodies, Rooster.âÂ
He laughs at that, pulling you close to him by caressing the back of your head. You snuggle into his side as he drapes his arm over your shoulder. âCanât say youâre wrong there,â he agrees and laughs again when you lightly slap his chest before wrapping your arms around his middle. âSorry, Penny, weâll take it down a notch.â
Your smirk grows at that as you slip one of your hands in his back pocket, feeling the way he tensed up at the feeling of your wandering hands. âOur bad,â you say. âWe just got caught up in the moment.â
Penny just shakes her head with a smile. âDonât worry about it, kids,â she waves you off with a wink. âYouâre young and in love, enjoy it.â
And enjoy it you will.
After she walks away, Bradley turns back to you and immediately presses his lips to yours once again, Pennyâs warnings seeming to have gone in one ear and out the other.Â
You kiss him back, your hands sliding down his arms as they search for his. With your drinks long since forgotten, you kiss him one more time before pulling away, leaving his lips chasing after yours as you lead him across the bar.Â
Bradley follows after you quickly, his hands moving to grip your hips when he nearly fell forward before he caught himself. You hold back a laugh at the way he almost tripped in an attempt to get you to move faster to your destination, a smug smirk staying on your lips afterwards.Â
You turned to head towards the door, but stopped when you felt his arms wrap around your waist and pull you back against his chest. His mouth was next to your ear and you felt his heavy breaths against the skin of your shoulder as he mumbled, âBathroom,â and you were about to question him when he continued, âI canât drive like this.â
You knew what he was talking about, more like you could feel it poking against you as he shielded himself with your body.Â
He was worked up, both from his performance and from the heated makeout he had just taken part in. His face was heated up and his eyes, though hidden behind his aviators, were blown wide with lust.Â
It never did take much to get him going when it came down to you. He learned that pretty quickly back when he first met you nearly three years ago. The high he felt after getting up from his place behind the piano only increased when he returned to his rightful spot beside you. Once he was back in the aroma of that vanilla body spray you always wore, he was done for.Â
âYou could always let me drive, you know,â you trail off, knowing damn well he would never let you drive the Bronco.Â
But, instead of immediately brushing that idea off, like you expected him to, he just shook his head and gently pushed you into the small bathroom. âNever going to happen,â he said, shutting and locking the door behind him before turning back to you.Â
You, his sweet girl who looked so effortlessly pretty standing in the limited space of the bathroom, just waiting for him to make his next move.Â
Bradley takes the glasses off and tosses them into the curve of the sink, the well-being of his aviators the furthest thing on his mind.Â
His eyes linger on the fabric of your white dress, the flowy material making you look like something straight out of heaven. Your face was quickly heating up under his intense gaze, your heart beating loudly in your ears.
It wasnât loud enough for you to miss the way he beckoned you over to him with a murmured, âCome here, pretty girl,â
You oblige without any hesitation, walking the two steps towards him and sighing against his mouth when he grabbed the back of your head with one hand and pressed his lips against yours.Â
The kiss was rough and desperate and needy. Bradley wasnât holding back now that he was away from the teasing eyes of Penny, and that was evident in the way he took full control over your mouth. His other hand came up to grip the side of your face and angle your head so he could have better access to your lips.Â
His mouth completely covered yours as he turned you around and pressed you against the chipped door, his free hand coming up to lift the bottom of your dress slightly. âBradley,â you murmured against his lips, feeling the tip of his tongue ease its way into your mouth. His hand tugged your dress up further until it was bunched around your waist, and you moaned against his mouth as you felt his fingers caress your clit through the black lace fabric that shielded your core from the chilled air.Â
âI know, pretty girl,â he mumbled back, breaking the kiss to attach his lips to your neck. âYou drive me crazy, too.â
âI need you,â you breathed out as his finger began rubbing circles against you. âFuck, I need you so bad, please.â
Bradley loved it when you begged for him. It didnât matter where you were, whether he was under you, on top of you, in you, he loved it when your voice became higher. He had an undeniable feeling of pride that took over him whenever you pleaded for him to fuck you, he had no choice but to give in to you every single time. Â
His mustache tickled your skin as he trailed his kisses further and further down your body, his lips pausing above the black lace that hid your core from him. He lifted his head just slightly, keeping eye contact with you as he leaned forward and ran his tongue along your fabric covered slit.Â
A moan of relief escapes your lips as you reach down to rest your hands on his shoulders. âGod,âÂ
He grinned up at you and trailed his hands up the sides of your thighs. âNot quite,â his voice sounded raspy and it only made your skin burn hotter with need. âI prefer Bradley. Your Bradley.â
A possessive look formed in his eyes for a brief second before his lust for you overpowered it.Â
It had you clenching around nothing as you whimpered.Â
âFuck,â you breathed out and watched as he pulled the fabric down your legs and guided it around your heels before stuffing it in his jean pocket. He sends you a cheeky look when he saw you raise a brow at that, before leaning back in and wrapping his lips around your clit. âOh, my G-â
You cut yourself off when Bradley pulled away and looked up at you, mischief swimming in his brown eyes.Â
âBradley,â you corrected yourself and watched a smirk slowly form on his lips.
âBetter,â he said before his tongue was poking out to lick a stripe up your slit. You moan and it quickly turns into a gasp as he grabs your right leg and lifts it up so you could rest your thigh on his shoulder.Â
He had much better access to your heat like this, and the need to make you come all over his tongue was all he could feel as he began to work the muscle in and out of you.Â
Bradley groaned loudly at the sweet taste that only belonged to you. He couldnât bring himself to care if he was heard over the music that flooded from the jukebox, and he knew you wouldnât care either. He couldnât help but praise you every single time you gave him the opportunity to go down on you. You tasted so good, he just had to let you know, whether that be with words or sounds of pleasure on his end.
His groan vibrated your soaking walls and you tip your head back against the door with a quiet thud. Your fingers tangle in his hair as your lips part slightly when he flattened his tongue and moved his head so it could drag back up your slit. He finished the single movement by sucking your clit into his mouth harshly, making your legs shake and tingle as you tried to hold yourself up.
With one of your hands buried in his hair, you use your free one to reach down and grip the frame of the door in hopes to regain some form of stability as his tongue darts back into your wetness.Â
You stifle a moan by biting into your bottom lip and breaking eye contact, the sight of him on his knees for you being far too much for you to handle right now. You were worried someone would hear you if you were to continue to hold eye contact when he was looking at you like you were the single most important thing in his life.Â
But Bradley has told you those exact words more than once now, and he really did not care if anyone heard just how good he was making you feel. âDonât hold back those pretty sounds you make only for me, baby,â he murmured against the skin of your inner thigh as he pressed a few kisses to it. His right hand trailed up your other leg and settled in between the two, his index and middle finger easily sliding inside your walls.Â
You choke out a moan and spare a glance down at him, seeing him already looking up at you with glistening lips and his teeth on display in a grin. âHoly fuck,â you say breathlessly and tug on his hair a bit. âBradley.â
âThatâs right, baby,â he hummed in approval, nudging his nose against your clit. âLet them all hear whoâs making you feel so good right now. The only one allowed to have you like this.â
That possessive look was back and it had you clenching around his fingers as he fucked them in and out of you. Bradley leans back in and sucks on your clit again while his fingers sped up their pace, the wet sound of them dragging against your walls and the whimpers leaving your mouth was all that could be heard in the small bathroom.Â
âFucking hell, Bradley,â you moaned and raked your hands through his hair again, feeling his grunt against your bundle of nerves. The contrast of your red nails, and the engagement ring on your finger, peeking through his dark strands was such a pretty sight and it only had you moaning a bit louder as he tugged you closer to him. His tongue was relentless against your clit as his fingers fucked into you quicker, and you had no choice but to close your eyes as you felt the knot in your stomach begin to tighten. âOh, fuck.â
Bradley pulled away from your clit, his thumb moving to keep the pressure his tongue gave you, and leaned back so he could gaze up at you. âYouâre close, hm, pretty girl?â He teased and turned his head to press a chaste kiss to the side of your knee before gently sucking on the skin. âAre you gonna come for me? Let me feel just how wet I can get you?âÂ
Your back arched off the door with a loud groan and you clench impossibly tighter around his fingers as his thumb continued to stimulate you to your limit. With a cry of his name, you came on his fingers and missed when his eyes flickered from your face to the way your release dripped down his fingers.Â
He really wasnât sure which sight was hotter, your face scrunched up in pleasure, or the wetness he felt coating his hand as you slumped back against the door. âJust like that, baby,â he praised as he slowed his fingers down to prolong your high. His thumb had stopped circling your clit as he knew you get sensitive pretty fast after you come, and he didnât want to overstimulate youâŠjust yet.
Your legs felt weak as Bradley pulled his fingers out of you and held eye contact with you as he slowly slid them into his mouth. He licked them clean while you bit your lip again to control the pornographic sounds that threatened to slip from your mouth.Â
He let out a throaty groan as he withdrew the digits from his mouth. âFuck,â he nearly whispered before moving forward and licking a flat stripe up your folds, collecting your warm release on his tongue before his hands reached up and tugged your dress back down so you were covered again. He grinned up at you when he felt you shudder against him as he guided your right leg off of his shoulder and stood up.Â
You lean back against the door as he cages you in with his body and rests his forearm on the door above your head. âDo you feel better now?â You ask as you trail your hand down his chest, pausing just above the button of his jeans. âI can return the favor?âÂ
Bradleyâs free hand caught your wrist before it could venture any further down and shook his head. âThat was only a warm up,â he informed you. He was still painfully hard, even more than before, but he was feeling relieved enough to be able to drive the ten minutes it took to arrive home. He leaned down and pressed a lingering kiss to your lips, smirking at the low whine that escaped your mouth when he pulled away. âCome on, baby. Letâs get out of here.â

âȘthe one where leon reconnects with his mom. (takes place after Runaway)
In which Leon reconnects with his mom - Too Close One Shot.
âIf you need more time, thatâs okay,â you say quietly as you rest your chin on Leonâs shoulder. âYou know that, right? No pressure.â
Leon stayed in his seated position at the end of your shared bed. God, he loved how you shared pretty much everything in this house, your house. Yours and his. Deciding to decline Chrisâ offer and buy a house near the beach was one of the best decisions of his life, the first one being his acceptance of the job of working for your dad that allowed him to meet you.Â
He leans back against the front of your body, his eyes closing as you begin to gently massage his shoulders. âI know,â he hummed and leaned further back to be able to run the tip of his nose along the edge of your jaw. âBut I think Iâve waited long enough. She deserves closure.â
You nod and wrap your arms around him from behind, pressing a kiss to the side of his head as you murmured a quiet, âYeah,â you smoothed down the fabric of his shirt as he turned his head to look down at his phone, the seven digits and call button staring back up at him. âDo you want to do this alone?â You offered and shifted so you were able to stand up.Â
Leon shook his head, âNo,â he mumbled and grabbed your wrist, gently tugging you back onto the bed. âStay, please. I want you to be here for this or else I might talk myself out of it.â
You laugh quietly and press another kiss to his cheek before returning to your spot behind him. âOkay,â you say softly then add, âAre you ready?âÂ
Leon nodded and took your hand in his before he clicked on the call button and brought the phone up to his ear. You rested your cheek against his back as you listened to the low hum of the ringing sound as he waited to see if she would even pick up.Â
As it got to the third ring, Leon turned his head so he could glance back at you with a hint of embarrassment in his eyes. âI knew this would happen,â he muttered. âIf she doesnât recognize the number, she wonât pick up.â
You smile and shake your head, pressing a kiss to his shirt covered shoulder. âSomething about that sounds familiar,â you teased, referring to all the times he told you to never answer numbers you donât recognize.Â
He laughed quietly at that, pulling the phone away from his ear. âMaybe Iâll call again later-â
As soon as he went to hang up he heard the distant sound of his motherâs distinct voice as she answered after the fourth call. âHello?âÂ
Leon froze at the all too familiar voice, one he hadnât heard in years.Â
You heard her, too, and pulled away from him with a quiet squeal and a light shove to his back. âI knew sheâd pick up,â you say before grabbing his wrist and pulling his hand up so his phone was next to his ear again. âTalk to her.â
He gave you a small smile of disbelief before opening his mouth to talk to the one person who made his childhood bearable, all while keeping his hand locked with yours. âHi, mom,â
-
Leon was stressed out. After having nearly a two hour long phone call with his mother, a plan for her to visit was scheduled for the end of the week.Â
The days passed by in a blur, and though he tried to hide how nervous he was, you saw right through him. Of course you did. After living together for a couple of months and being together for over a year, you were able to read him like an open book, much like he could with you.Â
On the day she was set to visit, Leon had spent most of the morning on the beach, running along the shore in an attempt to calm his nerves. He, regretfully, hadnât seen his mother in years, and the fact that he would be greeting her in his own home in a few hours felt surreal.Â
He had so much to talk about, so much to say to her, he wasnât sure heâd be able to get it all out during the three days she would be spending with him. One thing he knew he would leave out was his job, and he knew you wouldnât say anything about it, either.Â
She didnât need to know what he did for a living, but everything else was fair game.
It was nearing noon when he finally returned home and found that you had cleaned damn near every single room. It was then when he realized that you, too, were nervous to see his mom.Â
After a quick shower, he dressed himself in a black tee and dark blue jeans, taking after your casual outfit of black tights and a cropped tank top.Â
She would be arriving any minute now, and both you and Leon were standing by the front door. Well, he was standing - leaning, actually, on the frame that connected to the living room - and you were pacing. He watched you with an amused smile on his lips, the smile only growing when you turned to face him. âAre you as nervous as I am?âÂ
Leon shook his head and laughed. âI donât think so,â he answered and you whined as you stepped towards him.Â
âWhat if she doesnât like me? What if Iâm not what she wants for her only son? Her only child?â
He reached out when you neared him and pulled you into his chest, his arms wrapping protectively around you as he pressed a kiss to the top of your head. âBaby, sheâs going to love you,â he assured you and grinned when he felt you relax against him. âSheâll probably love you more than me, seeing as Iâm the one who shut her out for a decade.â
You sighed and wrapped your arms around his middle. âIâm sure she understands why you left,â you murmur, pressing your cheek against his chest. âYour dad is to blame for that.â You didnât know much about all that Leon endured during the years he spent at home with his parents, but you did know that the first time he had ever felt physical pain was at the hand of his father.Â
Leon forced out a laugh, resting his chin on the top of your head. âYeah,â he agreed. âI guess we both had really fucked up fathers growing up.â
The topic of your dad was still a sore one, so he didnât bring up his old boss more than he needed to. He knew you missed him, despite how things went down the last time you saw him, but you assured him that you were better off staying far away from the man who kept so much from you. Â
âTell me about it,â you say and open your mouth to continue the conversation, but shut it quickly when the sound of knocking was heard next to you. âSheâs here.â You step away from him and stand off to the side as Leon hesitantly approaches the door.Â
You give him a comforting smile when he turns to glance back at you, his hand hovering over the doorknob. Before he could talk himself out of it, Leon pulled the door open and was met with the gracefully aged face of his mother. Her blonde hair was a few shades lighter than it was ten years ago, and her green eyes sported years of fatigue, but still held a glimmer of light he saw in them during his childhood years.
She hadnât faded away completely, and Leon couldâve cried at the way she smiled at him when he opened the door. Her own eyes filled with tears as she stepped forward and gently placed her hands on his biceps, feeling just how much he had grown up in the years sheâs spent away from him.Â
He was towering over her at the age of seventeen and had only increased in his height since then. He was almost convinced she had shrunk a few inches as she looked him up and down before wrapping her arms around his shoulders.Â
Leon had to bend down considerably for him to be able to wrap his own arms around her middle. The size difference was undeniable as they embraced, with his body covering hers almost entirely.Â
You stay silent as he buries his face in her light hair, your eyes stinging slightly at the sweet reunion. âMy, God, youâve grown,â she observed in a teasing tone and Leonâs breath hitched at hearing his momâs voice in person again.Â
âMaybe youâve just shrunk,â he teased back and held her tighter as she laughed quietly. A few more seconds pass before the pair pull away from one another and take in each otherâs appearances. âHi.â
âHi,â she says back when Leon stepped aside, that was when you were met with the face of the woman who gave life to the single most important person to you. Your mind briefly went back to the first time you had ever seen her, back in his trailer and in the form of a photograph. That same photo was placed on the side table in the hallway that led to your bedroom, while the one with him and his dad was tucked away in a box in the closet. âWell, hello.â
You smile at her and hesitantly wave your hand. âHi,â
Leon wraps his arm around his momâs shoulder, similar to the way he had it draped around her in the picture that was taken when he was still a teen. âMom, this is Y/n,â he introduced you. âThe love of my life.â
You blush at that as you extend your hand out to her. âIt is so unbelievably nice to meet you,â you start as she steps towards you. âIâve been pestering him about this for a while now, so to finally meet you is-â
She cuts you off by wrapping her arms around you. You stand still for a second or two, completely speechless at the feeling of her warm embrace. You thought back to all the times your own mother hugged you, the way she made you feel so loved and safe. Those feelings came flooding back to you as you returned the hug, meeting Leonâs eyes from over her shoulder.Â
Your eyes burned once again as you blinked back tears, refusing to be the first person to cry in this situation. âItâs nice to meet you, Y/n,â she said quietly as she pulled back and gave you a kind smile, one that mirrored all the ones Leon flashed at you during the time youâve been with him. âThank you for helping bring us back together.â
Shaking your head, you bring your hand up to press against your face as you wipe away a single tear that managed to escape. âOh, I canât take credit for that,â you dismiss her words and drop your hand, missing the way her eyes followed it all the way down and lingered on the ring on your finger. âHeâs been wanting to reach out to you for a long time now, I just gave him a bit of support, thatâs all.â
His mom stared at your hand for a few more seconds before meeting your eyes once again. âThank you all the same,â she smiled and you returned it before looking behind her. Leon had been watching the whole exchange with a content grin on his lips, his heart full at the sight of his two favorite people getting along so well.Â
âUm, Iâll go make drinks or something,â you offer and step past her, your hand reaching for Leonâs as you approach him. âLet you two catch up.â
Leon gently squeezed his hand in yours until it fell from his grasp as you made your way to the kitchen. âDo hurry back,â his mom called out after you. âI want to hear all about the woman who stole my sonâs heart.â
After that, Leon led her into the living room. They sat across from each other on the adjacent armchairs as they talked about everything and anything that came to mind; what heâs been up to since he moved out, his newfound hobbies, Harvey - anything, really.
While his mom was curious as to how the two of them met, seeing as Leon left that out when he mentioned his close friend, she was glad he found someone he could rely on and who would be there, and has been there, for her son. Â
A moment of silence goes by before he asks the question that had been plaguing his mind since the minute she arrived. âYouâre still with dad,â he nodded towards her left hand, where her gold engagement ring and wedding band rested on her finger.Â
âI am,â she confirmed and folded her hands on her lap. âI know you two never got along, but heâs been in my life since I was fifteen. Itâs hard to let someone youâve known for so long go.â
Leon shrugged and gave her a semi-forced smile. âI get it,â he said before asking, âHowâs he doing?âÂ
His mom sighed before leaning back in the chair. âHeâs really smartened up in the years youâve been gone,â she started, her tone quiet as she relived the first few months she spent without Leon after he left. âI think he thought you werenât serious when you said you were leaving. He didnât believe that you were really gone until a few months went by, and then it hit him. He drank so much one night and ended up passing out on your bed, completely wasted. It mustâve dawned on him when he woke up that you were never coming back, and I havenât seen him touch an ounce of alcohol since.â
His dad giving up drinking? Leon thought heâd never see the day that would happen. Well, he supposed he had yet to see it actually happen, as the last time he set his eyes on his father was when he was five bottles deep into a pack of eight. It was only twenty four hours after that when he left.
He wasnât sure what to say, so he settled on just nodding.Â
Luckily, his mom was great at changing the subject. âBut enough about that old man,â she waved off her previous words and leaned forward, holding her hand out to him. âTell me all about your Y/n.â
Leon felt his face heat up at the mention of you, and he reached out to allow his mother to grab his hand. âShe means everything to me,â he nearly whispered as he refused to meet her eye. âIâve never felt this way about anyone before in my entire life. I feel like I canât breathe whenever weâre away from each other. Iâm pretty sure Iâd find a way to give her the world if she asked for it.â
His mom smiled at that, a warm feeling filling her heart as she listened to him. âSounds like you found the one who makes you happy,â she replied quietly. âI saw the ring.â
Leon lifted his head at that and watched as a knowing look formed on her face.Â
âTell me about it,â she grinned as she sat back. âHow did it all go down? Did you do some big grand gesture? Did you take her out to a fancy restaurant? Cook her favorite food?â
Leonâs face fell as she listed the various proposal ideas, realizing that his wasnât nearly as romantic as any of those. He was sure you were content with the way he proposed, or else you wouldnât have said yes, but he found himself wishing that he couldâve given you a better memory of it, whether that be by a grand gesture or putting aside his inability to cook to make you your favorite food.
Giving her an embarrassed smile, he shook his head. âNo, nothing at all like that,â
She nodded once and leaned closer to him. âSo..â
âUm,â he pulled his hand from hers and sat back, scratching the back of his neck as he replayed his proposal in his head. âIt wasnât really romantic at all. It kind of just happened.â
She raised her brow as she gestured for him to continue, not understanding how the two of you just randomly came to be engaged.
âWell, she came over to my trail-house, one night,â he cleared his throat before continuing, hoping she didnât catch on to his slip of words. Another thing she didnât need to know about was his prior living situation. That was for another time. âShe had gotten into an argument with her dad and came to me for comfort as he said some things that really upset her. I was holding her and then I just realized that every minute I spent with her could be the right moment to ask her to marry me, so I did it then.â
His mom raised both brows as a teasing grin formed on her lips. âThatâs my boy,âÂ
It was then when you finally came out of the kitchen, balancing three mugs in your arms. âI didnât know what you like, but Leon mentioned something about green tea once, so I just went off of that,â you say with a laugh as you hand her the mug. âI hope thatâs okay, Mrs. Kennedy.â
She took it from you with a grateful smile. âThatâs perfect,â she said. âAnd, please, Grace is just fine. Though, I see I wonât be the only Mrs. Kennedy in the family for much longer.â She gestured to your left hand as Leon tugged on your hips and guided you backwards to sit on the armrest of his chair.Â
You blush as you sit down and hand Leon the second mug, his being a simple black coffee you still couldnât believe he was able to drink without a problem. âYeah, I guess youâre right,â
âCongratulations, honey,â she said and held her hand out to you.Â
âThank you, Grace,â you replied as you rested your hand in hers. âI hope you you know just how crazy I am about your son. Heâs a really amazing guy, and heâs helped me out of some pretty dark places.â
Grace smiles as she watches Leon wrap his arm around your waist. âHe is quite amazing, I agree,â she says and takes a sip of the tea before setting it down and sitting back against the chair. âNow, tell me about how you two decided on this beautiful house. I can tell you right now that Leon had no input on how itâs been decorated as he has never had one interior designing bone in his body.â
Later, after the three of you got comfortable in the living room and put on a movie that Leon and his mom used to watch when he was a kid. Grace was settled on the recliner, while you and Leon were sprawled out on the couch, a blanket thrown over your bodies. Your back was pressed to his chest and his arms were wrapped around your middle, your fingers laced together and resting on your stomach.Â
He couldnât think of a time when he had felt this content and happy. He had his mother back in his life and she got along so well with you and treated you the same way she treated him all his life. He could tell that having a motherly figure back in your life was a lot to handle at first, and he was sure his mom reminded you of yours, but you didnât show her any signs of hostility or made her feel unwelcomed.Â
Instead, you invited her into your life with open arms, and he couldnât be more grateful for you.Â
Halfway through the movie, Leon felt your body relax completely against his and he knew you had fallen asleep. The realization had him smiling slightly as he thought back to last night. You had a hard time sleeping and were clearly more nervous about his momâs arrival than he was, so to discover that you had accidentally dozed off wasnât all that surprising.Â
He presses a soft kiss to the top of your head just as his mom turns to glance over at the two of you. She smiles when she sees just how gentle her son is with his future wife, and couldnât wait to hear more about you the following day. âYou found a good one,â she says quietly, not wanting to wake you up. âI like her.â
Grace couldnât deny how good the two of you looked together. Leon had grown up from an athletic, young teen to a well-built man. She saw a lot of his dad in him, especially in the face. They had the exact same shade of blue eyes, and she remembered the way his dad had a very strong jawline when he was Leonâs age, and Leon had also lost the baby fat in his face to reveal a matured, sharp jawline as well.Â
And youâŠwell, you were beautiful and kind and so right for her son.Â
Leon meets his momâs eye, more than happy to have her approval of the girl he had chosen to spend the rest of his life with. âThank you for coming over, mom,â he says, his voice barely above a whisper. âAnd thank you for answering.âÂ
âThank you for calling,â
After that the movie ended and Leon gently slid himself out from under you. He leads his mom out of the living room and towards the guest room, stopping by the front door to grab her bag for her. He sits with her for a few minutes before they hug one more time, much longer than the one they shared earlier, and say goodnight.Â
Once the door was closed, Leon made his way back to the living room, finding you still fast asleep on the couch. He bends down to brush away the fallen strands of hair that covered your face before pressing a final kiss to your forehead.Â
He pulls the blanket off you and picks you up with no effort at all, heading towards your bedroom at the end of the hall. You had woken up in the middle of him getting you ready for bed, and allowed him to finish helping you.Â
As you lay in bed together, you brush your lips against his as you ask, âDid you have a good day?âÂ
Leon hummed and pressed his lips to yours in a proper kiss before pulling you against him. âThe best,â

The pounding on the door never went away, despite Lip ignoring it for about five minutes now. If he didnât do something about it soon, everyone in the house would wake up and heâd have a bigger problem to deal with.Â
He sits up from his lying position and stands up from the couch, making his way towards the front door with an irritated look on his face. Swinging the door open, he was met with the annoyed faces of your friends, Daneel and Marissa. âFucking finally,â Marissa muttered and it was then when Lip noticed your slouched form. Your arms were draped over your friendsâ shoulders as you struggled to stand up properly. âEver heard of opening a door?â
âI just did,â he replied and narrowed his eyes at the way they were both doing a piss poor job at keeping you upright. âWhatâs wrong with her?â He tried to hide his concern, but there was no denying that he was more than a bit worried at the state you were currently in.
âShe canât handle alcohol to save her life,â Daneel grunted as she pushed your arm off her. âThatâs whatâs wrong with her.â
Lip glared at her as he instinctively reached out to grab your wrist before you were sent stumbling back. âHow much has she had to drink?âÂ
âNot a fucking clue,â Marissa laughed as she pushed you into the arms of your ex-boyfriend. âI lost count after her third beer.â
âFuck,â he muttered as he held your nearly limp body against his chest with one hand. The other one reached up to brush away the messy strands of hair from your face, and his gaze softened at the sad expression you wore as you refused to meet his eyes. He looked back over at your friends and furrowed his brows when he saw that they were halfway down the stairs. âHey, where the hell are you two going?â
âBack to the bar,â Daneel called back. âWe just wanted to make sure Boozie over here got home safely.â
âYeah, but this isnât her house,â he pointed out, but his words didnât seem to affect the two girls.Â
âRight, you guys broke up, didnât you?â Marissa laughed quietly and gave Daneel a shrug. âMaybe thatâs why she was so depressed tonight.â
They both laughed at that before waving at Lip and walking down the street.Â
âFuckâs sake,â he muttered as he wrapped your arm around his shoulder and guided you inside. He sat you down on the couch where he previously was, before heading back towards the door and peeking out at the retreating forms of your friends. He scoffed and flipped them off before shutting the door loudly. He usually didnât bother with locking it when it was just him and his family there, but since you were only a few feet away from him and drunk, he found himself twisting the lock.Â
Back in the living room, Lip finds your shivering form still on the couch. He noticed the way your arms were wrapped around yourself in an attempt to warm yourself up, so he took it upon himself to grab a blanket from off a pile of magazines that was near the window.Â
He draped it across your shoulders and watched as you gave him a drunken, grateful smile, before he sat down next to you. He tried not to think about the last time he was on the couch with you, back when the two of you broke up and you left the house in tears. It was hard to think that the time before that was when he had the house to himself for once and fucked you into the very cushions you were sitting on.Â
Lip had to hold back a groan at the memory of it. You were drunk and very clearly upset, and he needed to be there for you, despite it being just over a week and a half since you broke up.
âThanks,â you murmur softly as you bury yourself in the blanket. As you inhaled the scent that was the Gallagherâs, your brows furrowed and your eyes closed a bit more. âWait, why am I here?â
Lip shook his head and leaned back on the couch, his elbow pressing into the armrest as he huffed, âBecause your so called friends are fucking idiots,â he muttered and turned his head to look at you. âIâve told you that before, I donât know why you hang out with them.â
You refuse to meet his eyes as you give him a pathetic shrug. âBecause theyâre my friends,â you offer weakly and donât have to look at him to know he was rolling his eyes.Â
âFriends donât pull the kind of shit that they just did,â he mumbled and desperately wanted to light a cigarette right now, but he didnât want to leave you unattended. âFuck, I meanâŠweâre fucking friends, and I wouldnât do that to you. I wouldnât leave you.â
Lip wasnât actually sure where he stood with you. You were exes, sure, but friends? He had no clue if you were even friends at this point, but the whole relationship had originally started out as a friendship, so it wasnât like you two couldnât go back to that, no matter how much he hated the thought of just being your friend.Â
âI was ruining their night,â you weakly tried defending your friends while also calling yourself out.Â
Lip scoffed. âThey told you that?â
You shake your head and inch closer to him, your body beginning to feel weak with fatigue. âThey didnât have to,â you mumbled. âI could tell I was being a wallflower, and they shouldnât have to babysit me all night long just because I canât get my shit together.â
He shook his head at your words. You were always one to defend the fucking idiots in your life, himself included whenever you stuck your neck out for him when you were still together. He tried to ignore the way you leaned even closer to him and was barely able to keep yourself upright. âThey shouldnât have invited you out in the first place when they knew you werenât in the right state of mind to drink as much as you did,â he said, before quickly adding. âWhich was fucking dumb, by the way. What were you thinking? You can barely handle one beer, let alone three.â
You look down at his lap, embarrassment washing over you at his tone. You felt like he was your parent and lecturing you about sticking to your limit when out at the bar, but he really wasnât much better. âI was thinking about you,â you mutter and see his head turn to face you out of the corner of your eye. âIâm always thinking about you, and for one night, just one fucking night, I wanted to forget. I want to forget you.âÂ
Lip felt his heart deflate a bit at that, but he knew you were completely wasted, and he held onto that fact. There was no way you meant that, right? You had been together for nearly two years before calling it quits, and heâd hate to think he hurt you so much that you were beginning to regret getting with him in the first place.Â
He wasnât able to wallow in self pity for much longer, as you continued before he could even think about how to respond to that, âI still want you, still love you and I wish I never met you,âÂ
Your words caught him off guard, and he really wanted that cigarette now.Â
He looked over at you and felt his shoulders tense up at the sad expression you wore. You werenât making any sense, and he could only hope you would feel up to talk to him about this in the morning, when you were sober.Â
For a minute, Lip let himself go back to when you were both so happy and together. He found himself getting lost in how it felt to be so close to you again, and how much he missed being around you, how much he missed you. âYou should get some sleep, baby,â the name slipped past his lips before he could even stop himself, so used to calling you that, but you didnât seem to mind as you just nodded. âYouâre going to feel fucked up tomorrow.â
You closed your eyes and leaned towards him. He was about to stand up so you could lay down properly on the couch, but stopped when you blindly reached out to push him back down. When he is sitting down again, you wrap the blanket further around you before laying your head down on his thigh and using it as a pillow.Â
Lip couldnât move now even if he wanted to, and he really didnât, as you fell asleep almost instantly. He sighed as he ran his fingers through your hair and glanced at the clock. The time read 2:35 in the morning, and he wondered just how much of this you would remember when you woke up in a few hours.Â
-
He woke up the next morning when Fiona had made her way down the stairs, her being the first of many Gallagherâs to wake up. He lifted his head up from where it had tilted back against the top of the couch sometime last night when he fell asleep, and groaned quietly at the stiff muscles in his neck.
As his older sister passed by the door frame, she stopped and backtracked when she caught sight of you with your head still resting on his thigh, and your arm draped over his knee. She furrowed her brows as she mouthed, âAre you back together?â
Lip shook his head and watched the glimmer of hope fade from her face as the sound of Ian bounding down the stairs was heard throughout the house. âOh, shit,â he said in surprise when he, too, saw you on the couch. âAre you guys back together?âÂ
Fiona answered for her brother, âNo, theyâre not,âÂ
Ian looked confused as he asked, âThen why is she sleeping on you?â
âHer fuckhead friends dropped her off here last night,â Lip said and looked down at you, the movement making his neck ache but he didnât mind it as he caught sight of the way your lashes fluttered against your cheek. âApparently she ruined their fun by drinking too much.â
Fiona cringed as she grabbed a mug. âPoor girl,â
Debbie was next to walk down the stairs, and her loud morning voice was what woke you up. Lipâs thigh was sore as you slowly lifted your head from it, and he decided that he liked it when you fell asleep on his chest a lot better.Â
Your eyes are barely open as you sit up and immediately cover your ears when Debbie notices you. âIs that Y/n?!â She asked excitedly and ran over to you. You had no time to process anything as she threw herself at you in an embrace.Â
âHi, Debs,â you mutter, clearly confused as you hardly return the hug before she pulls away.Â
âKnock it off,â Lip says as he tugs his sister away from you, knowing that you werenât at all a morning person and was probably refraining from going off on the kid for waking you up.Â
âYeah, Deb, lay off the sugar before bed,â Fiona says sternly as she hands you a mug. You take it from her and sip the coffee, grunting in disgust when you were met with a bitter taste. âBlack coffee is the best way to reduce a hangover. Take it from me.âÂ
You slouch back against the couch as you hold the mug with both hands, still in the process of waking up. Glancing to your right, you notice Lip still sitting next to you. âWhat happened last night?â You ask as you try to recall how exactly you ended up on your ex-boyfriendâs couch.Â
âYou got drunk, like, really drunk, and Melissa and Danielle dropped you off here,â
âMelissa and Danielle?â You ask with a furrowed brow before realizing who he was talking about. âOh, you mean Marissa and Daneel?â
âSame difference,â he muttered just as Carl came flying down the stairs in a mess of limbs. He reached the bottom and shot up when he walked by the couch. âOh, hey, Y/n,â he greeted you as if your presence here was a normal thing, and up until almost two weeks ago, it was.Â
You give him a half-assed wave before closing your eyes tightly and praying that you will survive the pounding in your head.Â
Fiona must have felt bad for you as she quickly gathered up a few lunch foods before throwing them in a couple of disposable brown bags. âOkay, time to let the drunk girl rest,â she said and guided Ian, Debbie, Carl and Liam towards the front door. âTime to go to school. Lip, I take it youâre staying home to look after her?â She nodded at you and he waved her off as he stood up.Â
âYeah, yeah, I got her,â he said and walked into the kitchen.Â
Soon, the house was empty except for you and Lip, and you cower further into the couch as you listen to him rummage around in the next room. After drinking half of the gross coffee, you felt well enough to sit up properly and shrug the blanket off of you, hating how it smelled like your ex.Â
You place the mug on the coffee table just as he exits the kitchen with a plate in his hand. He sits next to you again, though a bit further away than before, and holds the plate out to you. âToast?â You ask as you eye the food, ignoring the flutter in your heart at the fact that he had made you some form of breakfast, despite him not needing to.Â
âWith jam,â he corrected with a quick smile before it was gone and you were shaking your head. âItâs all we have.â
âThank you,â you take the plate from him and lift the toast up to your mouth, taking the smallest bite possible out of it.Â
âSo,â he starts as you chew the lightly toasted piece of bread, hating that he knew your toast preferences so well. âDo you remember anything from last night?â
You put the toast back onto the plate and think about it for a second, before shaking your head. âNot really,â you answer and set the plate down on your lap. âWhy? Did something happen?â
âYeah,â he said, lifting his hand and massaging the stiffness out of the back of his neck. âYour scummy friends ditched you with me because you got drunk.â
You rolled your eyes and shove the plate back into his hands before grabbing the mug and standing up. âJust because you donât like them, doesnât mean theyâre scummy,â you mutter and walk into the kitchen, finishing off the coffee and setting the mug down in the sink.
Lip scoffs as he bites into the toast he made for you. âNo, them dropping you off at your ex-boyfriends house so they donât have to keep an eye on you and to go get drunk makes them scummy,â he calls out to you and sets the half eaten toast on the plate, leaving it on the couch as he gets up to go after you. He finds you leaning against the counter, your arms crossed over your chest as you stare at him.Â
You were still in the black dress you wore to the bar last night, and he was pretty sure that it was his favorite one, as he recalls complimenting you every time you wore it out with him. âTheyâre not so bad,â you say quietly, and Lip was about done with hearing you defend the people who abandoned you.Â
âTheyâre the fucking worst,â he said, fed up. âI asked you this before, and even though you didnât give me a decent answer then, Iâm going to ask you again. Why the fuck do you continue to hang out with them?âÂ
You shrug pathetically as you avoid eye contact with him. âBecause theyâre all I have,â
Lip shakes his head at that, not happy with your answer at all as he leaned against the fridge across from where you were. âThatâs bullshit,â he grunted. âYou had me, you still have me. Why do you let them treat you like that? In all the years Iâve known you, youâve always let people walk all over you. Then you get pissed off with me when I call you out on it. Why?â
âIt was too much,â you mumble and shake your head, crossing your arms tighter. âIt felt so right with you, too right. You made this fucked up place seem. You, Fi, fuck, even Carl. You guys are a real family who look out for each other. I never had that, never felt like I deserved it. You know where I came from and what my life was like before I met you. Thatâs what I deserve, not this. Not you.â
Lip had never heard such nonsense in all his life. He had never heard you talk like that about yourself, and he quickly decided he didnât like it. âYou think you deserve to go back to that life? To how things were before I took you away from all that shit? You donât,â he crossed his own arms, mirroring your stance as you lifted your head to meet his eyes. âYouâre smart, but youâre also fucking dumb if you think Iâm going to allow you to go back to that part of your life.â
You tried not to let his words affect you, but you couldnât ignore the way your heart skipped a beat at how much he still clearly cared for you. âItâs not up to you,â
âDamn it, Y/n,â he ran his hand through his hair, frustrated at you now. âWhy canât you see yourself in the way that everyone else does? Daneel or Danielle or whoever the fuck she is dosnât give a shit about you, and you shouldnât give a shit about her, either.â
You knew he was right, you knew that Daneel and Marissa were the definition of fake friends, but you didnât have much experience around those who cared for you. Between your friends, parents and your siblings, none of them treated you like how Lip and his family did. Could you really be blamed for believing that you werenât worthy of him? âTheyâre all I have-â
âTheyâre not, baby,â he slipped up and called you by the name once again, but didnât bother correcting himself as he stepped forward and grabbed your right hand in both of his. âTheyâre not and you know it. You have me, and my own fucked up family. You have us. You and me.â
You felt shy suddenly as you asked, âStill?â He places your hand flat against his chest so you could feel the steady beat of his heart, something that calms you down as you clarify your question. âI still have you?âÂ
âYes,ââ he answered and you donât bother holding back a sigh of relief. âYou still have me.â
âIâm sorry,â you nearly whispered, despite the two of you being the only ones in the house. âI missed you.â
âI missed you,â he said back, moving forward to press his forehead against yours. âFuck, breaking up was the stupidest thing weâve ever done.â
You hum in agreement as you bring your other hand up to rest against his chest while his reach down to grip your waist. âYou regret it?â
âAre you kidding?â He scoffed before pressing a quick kiss to the skin of your neck. âI havenât been able to sleep without you, thatâs why I was on the couch last night before you even got here.â
Your face heats up at that, as well at the feeling of his lips on your skin. âReally?âÂ
Lip hummed as his forehead returned to yours.Â
âWell,â you trailed off as you slid your hands up his chest and set them on the back of his neck, your fingers tangling in his hair. âWe might have to do something about that. When was the last time you slept for more than a few hours?â
âWhen did we break up?â
âA week and a half ago,â
âAbout a week and a half ago,â he answered and you grinned for a second before he was closing the distance between you, pressing his lips to yours for the first time in nearly two weeks.Â

The mission was a success.Â
Ashley was returned home safely, as were you and Leon.Â
However, there was somethingâŠoff.Â
Your long time friend, Jill, noticed it first. The subtle change in your attitude, the random outbursts, the sudden jolts of energy. She confided in Chris, but he just brushed aside her concerns.Â
That was until he, too, began to see a change happening in Leon. His close friend had become even more closed off than normal, and angered easily. Chris couldnât even trust the man to have a simple conversation without accidentally saying something that will set the blond off.Â
The pair didnât know what to do with the two of you. Leon was aggressive with everyone except for you, his girlfriend of four years, while you were annoyed with everyone except him. You were closer than ever, and spent more time together than with anyone else.Â
Rebecca, of course, noticed the problem before anyone else did.Â
The more time you two spent with each other, the more feral you became with everyone else. If she didnât know any better, sheâd assume the two of you were planning to kill everyone on the team and run off together.Â
She came to the conclusion that you two needed to be separated. And quickly.Â
Rebecca knew that would be a close to impossible task, as you were borderline inseparable before the mission, and now that you were home you were even closer. Whatever you endured while you were away was clearly still affecting the both of you, and she made it her goal to get to the bottom of it.Â
With Jill fully on board and wanting to see you return back to your normal self, she had no problem following Rebeccaâs orders of getting you away from Leon so she could quarantine you.Â
Jill gave you the impression that you two would be having a girls day, one filled with shopping, eating at some fancy restaurant and then finishing it off with a movie.Â
You couldnât be blamed for being skeptical about her true intentions when she stopped by the lab, mumbling something about needing to pick up a folder for her next mission she was due for in a few days.Â
You had been on edge around everyone ever since you returned home, so Jill knew she had to be careful and convincing with her words. âIâll be right back,â she said as she opened her car door. âI think Rebecca is in today, so I might chat with her for a bit. You can come in if you want, then we can go after.â
Squinting your eyes at her, you just nod and open your own door before following her into the building. She led you down various hallways and ignored the way you eyed everything around you with a cold expression, clearly sensing something was up as she guided you towards yet another hallway. âWhat exactly are you supposed to be picking up? Seems like an awfully long journey for whatever is in that file,â
Jill couldnât blame you for asking questions as she was sure sheâd do the same thing if she was in your position. She glanced back at you and tried to ignore the black veins peeking out from the collar of your shirt, one of many places on your body that gave away the very real fact that something was seriously wrong with you. âJust some notes and other important information that I will need to go over before setting out,â she answered as best as she could, hating the fact that she had to lie to you.Â
In all honesty, Jill was surprised she was able to get you away from Leon. She had to put on her best begging face as she pleaded with you to spend the day with her instead of your boyfriend, something you reluctantly agreed to after she told you about her upcoming mission.Â
Your acceptance of the invitation gave her a sense of hope that there was still a piece of the real you somewhere inside the cold, hard exterior of the person who came back from Spain.Â
âOh, that reminds me,â she said suddenly, making you almost bump into her when she stopped in the middle of the hallway next to a door. âI wanted to show you this before I left.â
She opened the door and you peered into the room, not making any move to enter it. âWhat is it?â
âJust something weâve been working on,â Jill waved off your suspicion and walked further into the room, hoping she wasnât coming off as a possible threat as she waved you over to her. âCome on.â
âWho is âweâ?â You ask as you cautiously step into the room.
âChris, Rebecca and I,â she answered as she waited for you to walk into the middle of the room before flicking on the light switch.Â
The room lit up and revealed a large glass box, one big enough for at least ten people to fit comfortably in. To Jillâs relief you didnât seem to be alarmed by the box, but curious. She watched you move closer to it and anxiously began trailing you, hating what she had to do next. âWhat is this for?â You ask as you pull open the glass door to further inspect it.Â
It was now or never. Jill would surely break any trust you had for her with her next actions, but if it meant saving you, then so be it. âIâm sorry,â was all she said before giving you a swift shove.Â
You stumbled forward and landed on your hands and knees inside the box, your eyes widening when you heard the door slam shut behind you. You had failed to notice the lack of doorknob on the inside of the glass and stood up quickly at the realization that you were trapped. âWhat the hell,â you mutter as you turn to face her, your eyes glazing over with a look of pure hatred.Â
Jill cowered away as she broke eye contact, not used to seeing you look at her that way. âItâs for your own good,â she tried to defend herself but knew it was no use as you stepped towards the glass. âYou need help. Both of you do.â
You laughed at that, the sound making her wince as it didnât even sound like you. âBoth of us?â You asked as you raised your hand and placed it against the glass. âJust wait until Leon realizes what youâve done. He wonât go easy on you, even if you two are friends. Heâll be relentless. Do you know what you just got yourself into?â
Jill lifted her head and stood her ground, hiding how nervous your threat made her. She knew Leon would find out, and she was counting on Chris to keep him occupied for as long as possible, just until Rebecca arrived to run some tests on you. She was glad you had failed to notice the lack of cars in the parking lot, seeing as Rebecca had to prepare some stuff before she would be on her way. It would have been over before it even started had you clued in to that detail.
The old you would have figured that out as soon as you arrived, and Jillâs heart broke a bit more at the realization that you were slipping further and further away from who you used to be.Â
âItâs for your own good,â she repeated, sounding much stronger this time around.
That clearly didnât please you as you folded your hand into a fist and lightly slammed it against the glass. âCome on, Jill,â your voice was suddenly a lot more friendly and for a second you sounded like the real you. âLet me out, please? We can talk about this like normal people. Iâll let you and your friend run any test you want if you let me out now. Donât lock me up like this, itâs inhuman.â
Jill knew better than to trust your words. She met your pleading eyes and knew that it wasnât really you talking, so she just shook her head and took a step back. âIâm sorry,â she said and watched as your face went from calm to furious, your brows furrowing and your eyes hardening once again.Â
âDamn it, Jill, let me out! Now,â you slammed your fist harder against the glass and Jill visibly jumped at the impact. She swallowed harshly and turned away from you, only further fueling your rage as you glared at her retreating form. âJill! Let me out! You canât keep me in here! Leon will find out and heâll fucking kill you. All of you.â
Jill tried her best to ignore that. She knew Leon would soon be out looking for you and would most likely track you down by your phone. She was glad she managed to grab it from you when she shoved you to the floor.Â
She left the room and closed the door, the sound of your yells now being muffled as she walked down the hallway, slamming your phone onto the concrete floor as she did so and breaking it into many pieces.

Leon knew something was wrong. He could sense it.Â
He hadnât heard from you in a while, and that alone had alarms going off in his head.Â
He had long since grown suspicious of Chris, who sat across from him on the chair in the living room of your shared house. Chris couldnât help but notice the lack of movement in the house. It looked almost as if you werenât even living in it, with the kitchen being pristine and well kept, and the living room looking spotless. After knowing Leon for many years, he grew to learn that the man wasnât the cleanest person, so to see his house looking untouched was only adding to his list of concerns.Â
What the hell had you two been in doing here since returning home? Neither of you looked like you had been eating well, nor sleeping very much, if the dark circles under your eyes was anything to go by.Â
Chris had never felt so on edge in his whole life as he sat across from his close friend. He gripped the whiskey glass in both hands as he spared a look at the blond, who held his own glass in one hand as he traced the rim of it with his upper lip.Â
In all the years heâs known Leon, Chris has never seen him like this. The air was so tense and uninviting, but he knew he needed to get him talking if he wanted to prolong this as much as possible. He could only hope that Jill was keeping up with her end of the deal.Â
âSo, Leon,â he began, his eyes narrowing at the black veins that ran up his friendâs arms. âYouâve been home for a couple weeks now and I feel like Iâve barely seen you at all. You and Y/n seem to be spending every waking minute together.â He ended it with a laugh he hoped didnât sound too forced, but he was beyond uncomfortable at the sight of the markings underneath Leonâs skin.
Blue eyes met his as Leon lifted his head up and pressed the rim of the glass against his cheek, the bitter whiskey long gone as he downed it in one go. âWeâre together, Chris,â he answered an unasked question and kept his gaze hard, unwilling to delve into this conversation any further. âThatâs what couples do, they spend time together.â
Chris shouldâve known he wouldnât be able to get Leon to break, at least not right away. He was a closed off guy before, and beyond protective when it came down to you. It seemed that only intensified since returning from Spain, and he knew better than to keep pressing him about you.Â
âI know, trust me, man, I know,â the brunet laughs uncomfortably in an attempt to lighten the dark mood. He needed to come off as trusting and make sure he didnât give off any indication of being a possible threat. Whatever Jill was doing with you, he was sure she was having a much easier time in getting you to cooperate, as getting Leon to open up was damn near impossible.Â
A few minutes of silence goes by before Chris empties his glass and sets it down on the coffee table. He leans back against the chair and gives his friend a casual smile as he tries to make it seem like this was just a usual guys night.Â
âBut I mean, fuck, if I didnât know any better, Iâd say you two are closer than before,â he laughed again and hid the way his shoulders tensed up when Leon just stared at him, unmoving. âWhat, are the two of you planning a mass killing spree we donât know about?â
At his attempted joke, Leon broke eye contact and set his own glass down before leaning over and resting his forearms on his knees. âSomething like that,â he muttered, though his tone held the smallest bit of humor.
It was a start, Chris thought, and he knew he had to continue to slowly but surely coax more information out of the suspicious blond if he wanted to figure out what the hell was going on with him.Â
âBut, really,â he continued and leaned further against the chair, wanting to come off as casual as he possibly could. âTell me about Spain. What exactly happened there?â
Leon raised a brow as he looked up at Chris, his face emotionless as he asked, âDidnât you read the report?â
Shaking his head, Chris ran a hand down the side of his face, acting like he was beginning to feel tipsy. âNo, man,â he replied. âNot yet.â
Another round of silence passed before Leon spoke up again, âIt was like any other mission,â he started and missed the way Chris sat up straight as he listened to whatever information he was about to be given. âY/n and I got there and the place had gone to hell. Some of the locals had been infected with something that caused them to go feral. It wasnât until later when Y/n and I-â
He cut himself off when he said your name and his whole body tensed up.
No, Chris mentally said to himself. He was so close to getting Leon to tell him what happened, why did he suddenly stop when he mentioned you? âIt wasnât until later when youâŠwhat?â He pressed, leaning forward as if that would break the trance Leon had fallen into.Â
âIt wasnât until later when Y/n and I found out that-â he started again but paused once more. âY/n.â He said your name again and noticed the way Chris shifted uncomfortably.
Chris felt his heart skip a beat when his eyes met Leonâs, who looked like he was ready to kill him right at that very moment. There was no way he had already caught onto what was happening, right?Â
Wrong.
Leon stood up and glared down at Chris, his jaw locked and his form tense. âWhat did you do to her?â He asked and Chris knew his cover was blown. âWhere did you take her?â
Despite clearly being caught, Chris continued to play it off and tried to de-escalate the situation as best as he could. âWhat are you talking about? I didnât take her anywhere, sheâs with Jill, right? Sheâs fine,â
His attempts to calm him down went right over Leonâs head as he reached down to flip the coffee table effortlessly, sending the two glasses slamming into the wooden floor with a piercing crash. âSheâs not fine,â he seethed, taking two strides over to Chris and lifting him off the chair by the collar of his shirt. âYouâve done something to her, all of you did. I know you did, I can feel it. Where the fuck is she?â
Chris tried to push Leon away, but his grip on him was relentless and strong, much stronger than he had ever seen him. âLeon, she needs help,â he tried to get through to him, but was failing miserably. âYou need it, too. We can help you, just tell us what happened.â
Leon just groaned animalistically before throwing Chris to the floor. He landed on his side while Leon reached for his phone and called you, his free hand reaching for his gun when it went straight to voicemail. âShe doesnât need help and sheâs not fucking picking up,â he pocketed his phone as he crossed the room and pointed the gun at Chris. âWhere the fuck did Jill take her? I wonât ask you again.âÂ
Chris stared up at his friend in defeat, slumping against the side of the couch. âI canât tell you that,â he answered quietly. âSheâs getting the help she needs, and when sheâs back to her normal self, youâre next. Thereâs something wrong with the both of you, and youâre too far gone to admit it. But weâre going to fix you. I promise you that.â
Leonâs grip on the gun faltered just a bit, and Chris saw a flash of the old Leon come back for a fraction of second before he was shaking his head and leaning down. âWhen I find her, and I will, Iâm going to come back here and make sure your blood paints every fucking surface in this room,â he threated before swinging his hand down and slamming the gun into the side of Chrisâ head.
-
When Chris awoke some time later with a pounding headache, he frantically got up and called Jill, informing her that Leon was gone and had caught onto what they were doing.Â
âFuck,â she muttered as she hung up and sprinted back into the lab, where Rebecca was currently running a bloodtest on you. She had used the small hole in the glass to spray in a sedative that rendered you weak and drowsy, giving her the perfect opportunity to collect a sample of your blood, as well as a bit of your saliva. âRebecca! We have to go. Leon knows whatâs going on and heâs one hell of a good tracker, heâll be here any minute.â
Jill knew how protective Leon is over you, and that was before the two of you became infected with whatever it is that was running through your systems. She knew very well that he most likely had already figured out where they were keeping you and was on his way to massacre anyone who stood in his way of getting to you.
They had to be quick if they wanted a second chance at helping both of you. They needed to leave now if they wanted to live to see another day.Â
Leon was well past thinking rationally at this point, and he will see everyone as a threat. And, like always, he will do everything in his power to eliminate said threat.Â
Jill was sure he was already stalking the halls of this very building with a deadly look of determination in his eyes. She knew he wouldnât see her as a friend right now, any maybe not ever again if she couldnât figure out how to expel whatever had taken over his body, and she knew sheâd be dead if he found her before he found you.Â
âWhat?â Rebecca asked as she turned to look at your slouched form from behind the glass. You just smirk up at her as most of your energy has been drained, leaving you to just be able to wear a look that said I told you so. âBut I havenât gotten the results yet.â
Before Jill could respond, the sound of Leonâs voice calling out to you from somewhere down the hall had the two girls quickly packing up and sprinting towards the fire escape.Â
As soon as the door closed behind them, the locked door to the room you were in was kicked open by Leon, who looked like he was out for blood. His eyes scanned the room expertly, the crease in his brow softening when he caught sight of you from behind the glass.Â
You looked so drained and tired and Leon felt his anger rise as he crossed the room and placed his hand flat against the glass. âMy sweet girl,â he murmured as he crouched down so he was at eye level with you. âWhat did they do to you?â
You struggled to lift yourself and face him, but you somehow managed to turn your body in his direction and gaze up at him with heavy eyes. âThey took some of my blood,â you say and wince at the sharp pain that shot through your body when you tried to lift yourself up more. âSaid they needed to test for any virus that could be in my system.â
Leon felt his blood boil at that, feeling a sudden urge to return home and finish the job he started on Chris before tracking down Jill and Rebecca and giving them the same treatment they gave you. âTheyâre going to try and tear us apart, try to take you away from me,â he said and watched the way your eyes widened just slightly at his words. âIâm not going to let them. They wonât touch a single hair on your pretty head ever again, do you hear me?â
You nodded and raised your hand so it was pressed against his through the glass.Â
âGood,â he said before standing up and taking out his gun. âNow, move back, sweet girl.â
You did as you were told and pulled yourself to the opposite corner of the box, covering your ears as he raised his hand and aimed at the glass. One bullet later and the glass was shattering, the piercing sound ringing throughout the silent room.
Lifting your head, you were met with the feeling of fresh air filling your senses, a much better upgrade to the sedative you were forced to inhale for the last few hours.Â
You donât bother trying to pull yourself up as Leon moves into the now three sided box and steps onto the pieces of glass to get to you. He bends down and picks you up effortlessly, holding you tightly against his chest as he leaves the room and begins the long journey down the multitude of hallways.
âTheyâre not going to stop,â you say quietly, squeezing the fabric of his black shirt weakly in your hands. âTheyâre all convinced something is wrong with us, like weâre some problem that needs to be fixed. Theyâre going to keep trying to help us.â
Leon held you tighter against him as you spoke, his heart beating fast in his chest. He exits the lab and steps out into the setting sun, his grip on you never faltering as he makes his way to his car. âMaybe theyâre the problem,â he muttered and opened the passenger side door. âMaybe we should do them all a favor and end their suffering now.âÂ
He gently sets you down onto the seat and leans in so his head was inches from yours. âHow?â You ask as your hands reach out to grip his shoulders.Â
Leon runs his fingers down the length of your side before settling his hand on your waist. âBy killing them,â he answered and leaned in to run his lips along your jaw. You held back a moan as he continued, âI can only imagine all the sick and twisted things they were planning on doing to you if I hadnât figured it all out. They seem to think itâs okay to hurt whatâs mine if it means theyâre providing you with the help they claim we need.â
He traces his tongue along the skin under your ear, making you grip him tighter with a low whine. âLeon,â
He grins against your skin. âI know, sweet girl,â he hushes you with a searing kiss, one that had your already dizzy mind go into a frenzy. You grip his shirt in your hands as his finger traces over the black veins that ran up your neck and stopped just below your jaw. âThey wonât get away with this, wonât take you away from me.â
You nod and reach for his belt, but his hand wraps around your wrist and stops you. He shakes his head at your desperate look and presses a chaste kiss to your pouting mouth.Â
âLater, baby,â he promises as he pulls away and grips the frame of the door. âRight now we have some old friends we need to see.â

The pain in your ankle was nothing compared to the feeling of your heart beating loudly in your chest. You sit back against the seat and refrain from glancing over at the man who had saved you countless of times before you had been carried onto his ship.Â
He was beautiful, for a lack of better words.Â
The scar that began in the middle of his forehead and went to just below his right eye only added to the overall attractiveness of his face and you found yourself drawn to the imperfection whenever you allowed yourself to look at him.
He was sitting in the pilot seat, so his back was towards you. It made meeting his eye a lot harder to do, but not impossible as you had caught him looking back at you more than once now, despite him trying to play it off afterwards with a clearing of his throat.Â
There was something there. You could feel it.Â
It could very well be the need to please the kind man who had risked his life to save yours, or it could be the fact that you were running on pain and fear at the moment. It could also be the attraction you felt deep within you, the surge of heat that flooded your body every time your eyes met his.Â
It was unlike anything you had ever felt before. And you welcomed it with open arms.Â
Sitting in the back of the ship filled you with a sense of adventure, something you never allowed yourself to feel as it seemed as though your life had already been planned out for you;
Attend your coronation to be crowned Queen of Alderaan, Marry King Vinny, become a stay at home mother who will never have to leave the house, and carry your husbandâs children.Â
That wouldnât be so bad, if it was what you wanted.Â
Sure, you wanted to get married one day and have a baby or two, but to and with someone you were deeply in love with, not someone who only saw you as a personal benefit.Â
An object. A form of insurance, really.Â
You wanted out.Â
Grabbing onto the bottom of the seat, youâre unable to dwell on your past and future any longer as the Knight has stood up and made the few steps towards you. He held out his hand to you as the other man brushed past him and opened the door. You take the gloved hand of the handsome stranger, allowing him to pull you up and onto your feet.
He murmurs a quiet, âPrincess,â as a way of asking for consent. You nod once and wrap your arm around his shoulder when he leaned down to grip the back of your thighs. He lifted you up with ease, the tears in your dress doing very little to prevent his skin from touching yours as he exited the ship.Â
You try to ignore the musky scent that radiates from him as he carries you into the biggest structure you have ever seen. A temple, perhaps?
He carried you through hallway after hallway, never once bumping into another person. Was he keeping your presence a secret? Or was this massive building void of anyone else other than you and him?Â
You lock your hands around his neck as you ask, âWhere are you taking me?â
His hold on you never falters as he turns a corner, his grip firm but gentle. âSomewhere away from the eyes of the Jedi,â he answered and you looked up at him, your eyes focusing on the small freckles that littered his face. âI can look at that ankle for you, as well. If you want.â
Your lips curve upwards as you avert your eyes to the stone walls as they pass by. âWhat, youâre a trained medic now, too?â You tease quietly, feeling your face heat up in pride when you catch sight of the way his lips mimicked yours in a small smile.
âI wouldnât go as far as to say that,â he simply says as he stops in front of a door.Â
âI am eternally grateful for your honesty,â you say as he somehow manages to open the door while still holding you in his arms. He shakes his head at your words as he enters the room, the door shutting quietly behind him. You glance around the space and feel your body tense up at the sight. âWhere are we?â
âMy room,â he answers as he crosses the large space to gently sit you down on his bed.Â
You nod in understanding, shying away from his intense gaze as you look at the floor. âItâs nice,â
He opens his mouth to respond before three knocks are heard at the door. He glances back at it before turning to you. âThis will only take a second,â he promised, gesturing to your still throbbing ankle. âThen I can check to see if anything is broken.â
You nod again and watch as he walks back to the door and gets pulled into a conversation with the man who was in the seat beside him back on the ship.Â
âSheâs safe here, for now,â the man says in a hushed tone. âYou must not let her out of your sight. Try to keep her comfortable, this is all new to her.â
âAnd Alderaan?â
âItâs indisposed,â your brows furrow at that as you lift your legs up to rid yourself of your uncomfortable shoes. You suck in a breath when you tug too hard on your ankle, dropping the heels beside the bed after glancing down at your red skin. âY/n is under your protection from here on out. Guard her, keep her safe until she is able to return home.â
âYou have my word, Master,â your heart swells at how genuine the Knight sounded. âWhere are you going?â
âI must join the fight, Anakin. Donât worry, I will be back as soon as itâs safe for her people,âÂ
You chew on your bottom lip as they wrap up their quiet exchange, your eyes flickering upwards when the man enters the room once again. âIs everything alright?â You ask as he nears the bed.Â
He nods and moves to crouch in front of you. âYou have nothing to worry about, princess,â he says as he gently lifts your leg up to inspect your ankle. âObi-Wan will take care of everything to ensure your return to Alderaan is a safe one.â
You try to hold back a noise of distaste from both the thought of going back there, as well as the jolt of pain that shot up your leg. âAnd what about you?â You ask and refuse to look at the bruised skin of your ankle, knowing that the sight will more than likely make you freak out or go into shock. You hated injuries of any kind, and hated how they looked, so to see one on your own body would be like the end of the world. âI now know the name of your trusty co-pilot, but havenât yet been told what yours is.â
His blue eyes flicker up to meet yours, one of the corners of his mouth twitching up as he sets your leg back down on the soft comforter. âAnakin,â
You blink a few times but donât break eye contact completely as you open your mouth to respond, âWell, Anakin,â you hate how much you love the way his name sounds rolling off your tongue. âWhatâs the diagnosis?âÂ
âJust a sprain,â he says as he stands back up. âYouâll be alright.â
âWow, you could tell that by just looking at it?â You ask, more than a little shocked at the skills of the man before you. âYour lover must be proud.â
You hoped you werenât being too obvious or too forward. You could always blame it on the pain making you act out, when in reality, you found yourself wishing that this beautiful manâs heart hadnât been taken by someone.Â
Luckily, he just laughed and shook his head. âI have no lover, princess,â he says as he enters the bathroom. Your face heats up at the name, having heard it many times now from others, but loving the way it sounded when he said it. He returns a few seconds later, a roll of bandage in his hand. âBut I appreciate the assumption.â
âI do apologize,â you say, moving over just a bit when he sits next to you on the bed. Gently, he takes your leg in his cold hand and sets it on his lap, his flesh hand beginning to wrap your ankle up in the bandage. âI guess I just find it hard to believe you arenât taken by a lucky lady.â
âIâm not sure how lucky she would be,â he dismissed as he tugged softly on the end of the bandage to tightly secure it around your pulsing ankle. âIâm nothing special.â
âYou saved my life,â you point out and keep your leg draped over his lap, pretending not to notice how the end of your dress slipped up to reveal a fair amount of your skin to him. âIf it were me, I would never let a man like you go.â
Anakin swallowed harshly as your words sank in. Should he allow himself to return the flirt? Should he remain professional and closed off, like he was trained to do? âJedi are forbidden to form attachments like that, anyway,â
His eyes flicker all over your face before dropping downwards and narrowing on the small piece of jewelry he had only just now noticed.Â
âIt appears youâre already spoken for,â Anakin observes as his metal fingers wrap around your wrist and lift your hand, the sparkle of the lights reflecting off the quaint - and quite hideous - ring on your finger.
âYeah, well,â you mutter and pull your hand away, looking down at the silk sheets beneath you. âMaybe you can save me from that, too.â
âYouâre not happy?â He hoped you wouldnât brush off his attempt to pry into your personal life. He just wanted to know more about you. He would be spending a lot of time with you while the chaos settles down on Alderaan, so why not get to know you a bit better?Â
That was his excuse, anyway.
âHappy?â You ask with a scoff, meeting his eyes once again. âI havenât felt an ounce of happiness since Vinny put this atrocious thing on me.â
Anakin remained silent, wanting to hear more about you and all that you are. He couldnât help the small, barely-there grin on his lips at the fact that you shared the same opinion of the ring as he did.Â
âI donât want to be a Queen. I donât wish to be held responsible for thousands of people, not in the way Vinny does,â you continue, unsure as to why you felt so comfortable around the Knight, enough to get into the nitty details of your future crowning. âI donât crave that sense of power and respect I was told Iâd be given once Iâm married. I donât need it or want it.â
He thought over his next words carefully before placing his hand flat on the bed next to your knee. âSo, what do you want?âÂ
-
After spending nearly a week with the Jedi Knight, you could safely say you knew what you wanted.Â
It was him.
Anakin was everything you wanted to be, explore, and adventure with. He was kind, his soul pure behind his dark and hardened exterior.Â
The coronation, the status, the power; youâd give it all up to spend the rest of your life with a man like him. Or, more specifically, him in general.Â
Anakin was fun, had exciting stories to share with you and countless places to show you. Your desire for him grew with each passing day you spent with him, tucked under his strong arm or shying away from his protective gaze.Â
You wanted him. And you wanted him badly.Â
You werenât sure how he was able to form these kinds of urges inside of you not even a week into knowing him, but you werenât questioning it one bit. The feelings he gave you were new and ones you had never experienced before. You felt your past self slipping away right before your very eyes, and you did nothing to stop it. You did nothing to remain as the person who once had no choice, no sense of feeling needed or wanted or important.Â
Anakin made you feel all those things and more. And he didnât even need to verbally express it.Â
His actions alone said what his mouth couldnât.
The way his body covered yours when you left the confines of his room. The way he was never more than a foot away from you at all times. The way he was ready to fight for you and save your life again with no hesitation at all.Â
Sure, it was what he was meant to do, his mission, if you will. Still, it didnât make you feel any less important.Â
For the first time in a long time, you felt alive.
And you knew exactly who the reason was.Â
His bedroom held a lot of empty space, perfect for a quick lesson from the Knight, just in case he wasnât there if you were to be attacked. Not that he planned on leaving your side until he knew youâd be safe, the thought of you knowing how to use a lightsaber put him at ease, even if just a bit.Â
He stood behind you, his metal hand wrapped around your wrist as you held the handle of his lightsaber. âRemember to keep a firm grip on this,â he reminded you as he guided your other hand to hold onto the handle as well. âThe last thing you want is for it to be knocked out of your grasp while in battle.â
You nod, feeling the front of his body press against your back as he towers over you, his other hand coming up to cover the one he had just guided towards the weapon. You tried to ignore the blush that covered your face as he lined himself up with you and the feeling of his much bigger hands placed over yours.
âReady?â He asked, his breath hitting the top of your ear and making you suppress a shiver. After you nod again, he helps guide your hands downwards in a swift motion, the lightsaber igniting in a beam of blue as it lit up the darkening room.Â
You squeal in excitement, nearly dropping the weapon as you jump up and down in his arms.Â
Anakin shook his head, a quiet laugh escaping him as you almost did the one thing he reminded you not to do. He couldnât bring himself to be mad, however.Â
Your jumps stopped abruptly as you landed on your sore ankle, a whine leaving your lips as you lifted your leg to take the pressure off it. âAlright,â he says with a small laugh, taking the lightsaber from you with one hand while he keeps his other on your arm. âI think thatâs enough for today.â
âSorry,â you murmured and watched as he reached over to place the weapon on his dresser, his hand slipping down to gently grip your waist as he led you over to his bed. âDid I just ruin it?â
Anakin shook his head as you sat down on the silk sheets. He hadnât gotten around to making the bed yet, but seeing as it was nearing nightfall, there really wasnât any point in doing it now as heâd be turning in for the night soon, anyway. âNot at all, princess,â he answered and gestured for you to lay your sore leg across his lap once he was sitting next to you. âHow bad does it hurt?â
âItâs bearable,â you shrug and bring up your hand to your mouth, your teeth beginning to chew on the nail of your thumb. âAnd Iâve told you to refer to me by my name.â Despite loving the way he said the word âprincessâ, the feelings that bubbled inside you everytime he called you that would make you act out sooner rather than later.Â
âY/n,â he corrected himself with a teasing grin as his fingers began to gently apply pressure to the skin around your ankle. His touch was soft as to not disturb the bruised skin even more, the pads of his fingers massaging you in a way that had you holding back sounds of satisfaction.
âBetter,â you send him a cheeky grin before looking down. His gloved hand rested on your knee while the fingers of his other softly soothed the ache you had just made with all your jumping.Â
You couldnât help it. Anakin made everything so exciting.Â
The very real fact that you were expected to return to Alderaan whenever the war had ended was one you werenât fond of in the slightest. You didnât want to go home, didnât want to leave the Knight who had completely changed your perspective on life and showed you that there were other things to look forward to other than marriage and power.
He filled you with a sense of adventure, a need for adrenaline and a desire for something more than what you would be met with after you married Vinny. Unwillingly married, you should say.
You always imagined youâd marry someone you were in love with, you believed that was what it was about; meet someone who flips your world upside down, fall in love with them and eventually settle down by getting married then starting a family.Â
That was how it should be.
And it very well could be if you were to continue down the path you were currently on.Â
It was unbelievably hard not to fall in love with Anakin. He proved that to you every day you got to see him, experience a bit of his life and dive into all he is.Â
If he asked you tomorrow to stay with him, you feared you wouldnât hesitate one bit to agree. But the fear only added to the excitement.Â
After sitting in a comfortable silence for a few seconds, he breaks it and looks over at you, âIâve been informed that the war should be over soon,â he says and you feel your heart deflate at his words. âYou should be able to go home any day now.â
You wondered if you were imagining the bitterness and uneasiness in his voice. âOh,â you say quietly and look down at your hands that rested on your lap. âThatâsâŠ.thatâs good.â
Your tone completely betrays you and gives away how you were really feeling. Anakin can easily tell that youâre saddened by the news, as is he, secretly. âIs it?â
You meet his eye as you pick at the skin around your nails, something he had observed you do many times during the past week. He was surprised at the many habits heâs seen you do in such a short amount of time, but it filled him with pride to know that you were comfortable enough to show him those sides of you. âNo,â you answer and inhale sharply when you tug a bit too hard at the skin.Â
Anakin reached over and took your hand in his metal one, his touch surprisingly gentle. âDonât you miss your home?âÂ
You did, but, âIâd miss you more,â you say before breaking eye contact and shaking your head. âMaybe Iâm wrong for thinking this, but I donât think I could ever be truly happy there. Not after all youâve shown me. AlderaanâŠit doesnât feel like home. It doesnât make me feel how I am now, with you.â
He felt his heart leap in his chest at your words, but he kept calm and slowly began trailing his fingers up the length of your leg. âHow do you feel now?â
Do you feel the same way I do?
He hoped so.Â
You lift your head and shrug. âHappy,â you simply answer before adding, âYou make me happy.â
Anakin did his best to ignore the surge of joy that flowed through his veins but he knew it was what gave him the confidence to lift his hand from your leg and reach for your own. His index finger spun the ring around on your left hand, his eyes narrowing at the physical evidence that someone else had already claimed you. âVinny doesnât make you happy?â
You shift closer just slightly, placing your feet flat on the other side of his lap so the backs of your thighs are hovering over his. âHe never has,â you say. âIâve spent nearly a year with the man and not once has he ever made me feel the way that you do. I donât love him, Anakin. Not in the way I could love you.â
His breath hitched and had you not been a mere few inches from him, you wouldâve surely missed the sound.Â
You were falling in love with him.
And Anakin was falling in love with you.
This felt too good to be true. It possibly was.Â
You were already on your way to marry another man, one who didnât appreciate you in the way you deserveâŠin the ways Anakin would in a heartbeat.Â
He wasnât supposed to end up here.Â
His task was simple; keep you safe and donât let you out of his sight.
He never thought he wouldâve ended up falling so hard and fast for you a mere few days into protecting you.Â
In all fairness, he was never meant to. He was told he canât form bonds, canât connect with someone on this deep of a level, but this felt inevitable.Â
He had saved your life, and you had changed his. Â
Anakin didnât know what to say, so he kept quiet and instead the spinning of your ring came to a stop, his fingers pausing on the silver band before he slowly slid it off. âYou deserve happiness, Y/n,â he murmurs and holds the ring between his fingers. âI hope you find the one thing that makes you truly happyâŠ.. and you never let it go.â
You inch closer, keeping your eyes locked with his for any sign that you were overstepping any invisible boundaries. âI think Iâve already found it,â you say just as quietly. Seconds pass with neither of you saying a word, your heads moving closer and closer until your foreheads are pressed together. Now looking at his lips, you offer him an out before you break and destroy any possible friendship that might have been forming between you. âIf youâll have me.â
Truth be told, Anakin didnât think you two could ever be just friends. You were his mission and he was your protector. And friendship is overrated.
At least thatâs what ran through his head before he closed the distance completely and pressed his lips to yours.Â
It was inevitable. You two were too close, both mentally and physically, his hand extending outwards and carelessly letting go of the ring. It fell to the ground, the sound of it hitting the floor a mere background noise as his hands went to either side of your face.Â
He pulled away first, his thumb gently stroking the bone of your cheek as his eyes became fixated on the sight of your parted lips. Your own eyes stayed closed as you longed for the feeling of his lips on yours again.
Reaching your hand up, you grip the back of his neck and kiss him once more. This one was more heated, more desperate and needy as his hands moved to your waist. You hardly had a chance to process what was happening as he pulled you onto him, your knees pressing into the mattress beside his hips as you straddle him.Â
Your other hand lifts up and tangles in his hair, your fingers gently tugging on the curls at the base of his neck. Your lips melded against his damn near perfectly, your back arching and allowing your chest to press right up against his.Â
Anakin angled his head to the slide, his hands pulling you closer by the waist as he deepened the kiss. âIâm selfishâ, he murmured against your mouth as he pressed another kiss to it. âWe shouldnât be doing this.â
You pulled back to gaze into his eyes, your lip pouting just a bit as you shook your head. âIâm the selfish one, Anakin. Youâre not supposed to form attachments yet here I am, hopelessly throwing myself at you when I know what the consequences can be,âÂ
He holds onto you tighter, his eyes narrowing on the curve of your bottom lip. âIt doesnât matter. No one can take me away from you, princess,â he said before correcting himself. âI mean, Y/n.â
For some reason, the way he said the name didnât make you feel like the stuck up person you felt yourself shaping into. He said it with genuine respect, unlike the forced respect you were so used to hearing. The change was unexpected but intriguing nonetheless. âNo, I like when you call me that,â you say and quickly add, âIt makes me feel different when I hear you say it. Makes me feel special.â
He leans in and presses kiss to your lips. âYou are special,â his response sounded completely genuine and it only added fuel to the fire that was steadily building within you. âAnd you deserve someone who makes you feel special everyday for the rest of your life.â
You settle closer to him, gently massaging his tense shoulders. The feeling of them relaxing under your touch almost immediately had you laughing softly. âIf I say I want that someone to be you,â you begin, pulling back just slightly to be able to look into his eyes. âWill I be making a mistake?â
âYou might be,â he trailed off, returning his forehead to yours. It was if he didnât want to part from you, like the only thing he wanted at that moment was to feel you against him in any way he could. âBut I believe that I would be making a bigger mistake if you were to leave without knowing how I feel about you.â
You wait for him to continue, your fingers dancing across his chest when he doesnât. âHow do you feel about me?â
He shakes his head, his eyes raking over your entire form as you rested on top of him. âToo strongly to form words,â
Chewing on your bottom lip, you carefully choose what to say next, knowing that you both wanted the same thing. âThen show me,â you offer, gently grabbing his wrists in your hands. âTouch me, Anakin. Let me feel the things you canât put into words.âÂ
Anakin, the gentleman he is, stilled in your grasp. You took it upon yourself to place one of his hands on your lower back and the other on your chest, right over your heart. He looked up at you as he felt the steady beating of your heart against his glove covered hand, his own heart hammering harshly against his chest. âI donât want you to leave,â
His words were nothing but genuine, held nothing but sincerity and they came out sounding borderline desperate, but it only made you nod in agreement. âI donât want to leave you,â you say and lean in, ghosting your lips over his. âI just want you.â
At your confession, Anakin closes the gap between you again and presses his lips to yours in a searing kiss. Like the first one, it quickly takes your breath away and you grip onto his shoulders to steady yourself as a wave of dizziness washes over you.Â
You tug him closer, your thumbs pressing into the base of his neck as you angle your head to get better access to his mouth.Â
Acting on your previous wishes for him to show you how he felt, Anakin allowed his hands to travel to the end of your shirt and lift it up, his flesh hand feeling the goosebumps that he had caused against the skin of your stomach.Â
A feeling of pride filled him at the visible proof of how well your body reacted to his touch. His growing theory that you were made for him only felt that more real as you allowed him to remove the shirt from your body completely, your chest now bare and exposed for only him to see.Â
Just as he expected, you were nothing short of beautiful.Â
He pulled away just long enough for him to be able to guide you to lay on your back, your head resting just below the pillows as he hovered over you. He leaned back in, but instead attached his lips to the exposed skin of your shoulder, the feather light touch making you feel dizzy with want.Â
You couldnât remember the last time you felt like this; so wanted, needed, desired.Â
Vinny had never once made you feel the way Anakin does. He doesnât compare to the urges youâve felt since laying eyes on the Jedi Knight. He would never live up to the care and respect Anakin has shown you since arriving on Coruscant.Â
It was terrifying to think about the very real fact that you would be expected to return to Alderaan soon and be forced to leave everything you had grown to know behind.Â
Forced to leave him behind.Â
Your last nights with Anakin have been nothing but pure bliss, and tonight might just be the best night of your entire life. You werenât going to waste it by dwelling on the future, werenât going to ruin it by bringing up your eventual departure.Â
You were going to pretend that this was your home, that this man that was peppering your neck with hot kisses was your lover, and that everything will be fine afterwards.Â
It was easier to pretend than to accept reality.Â
His words bring you out of your cruel thoughts. âYouâre so beautiful, princess,â he murmured against your skin. Your face heats up and a chill runs down your spine, the compliment you had heard many times from your people sounding so much better when it came from him.Â
âI want you, Anakin,â you say and watch as his eyes flicker up to meet yours. His lips leave the skin of your abdomen as he lifts his head, his blue eyes a shade or two darker than before. âI need you to make me forget about everything, even if just for a night.â
He pulls back completely as your hands push at the fabric of his shirt, the material beginning to slide off his shoulders and revealing his toned chest. Slowly he nodded, allowing your shaky fingers to pull off his glove, before taking your hands in his.Â
Leaning back down, Anakin presses your joined hands against the mattress beside your head and pins them there with little to no strength needed. You wouldnât resist him, not when you were finally being given what you had wanted since the day he risked his life to save yours.Â
His lips connected with yours as he pressed his body down onto you, the skin to skin contact being everything you both thought it would be, perhaps even better. He wanted to take his time with you, touch every part of you and memorize the feeling so he had something to hold onto when you had to leave him behind.Â
He wanted to cement the map of your body into his mind, the way your legs wrapped around his waist and pulled him closer. He wanted to experience the way he was feeling right now for the rest of his life, however long that may be, and he wanted to never let you go.Â
He really was selfish.Â
You were not made for him, nor were you meant for him, but that didnât make this seem any less right, any less perfect. You were perfect.Â
âAnakin,â Stars, he could listen to the way you said his name on repeat for the rest of his life. He pulled away from your mouth to be able to look into your eyes, leaning into your touch when you reached up to caress the side of his face. âI need to feel you. Please.â
He turns his head and presses a kiss to the palm of your hand before nuzzling his cheek against it. âAlright, angel,â he nearly whispered, his metal hand beginning to tug down the fabric of your pants. Once they were down and off your legs, he kept his other hand pressed against the mattress next to your head as he kicked off his own pants, with the help of your eager hands.Â
With your clothing now completely discarded there was nothing in the way of his view of your body, and yours of his. He was by far the most handsome man you had ever been blessed to see, and out of the few little run-ins Anakin has had with women, you were the most breathtakingly beautiful.
The contrast of his cold hand on your heated skin was like nothing you had ever felt before. It only added to the new and unique feelings he had provided you with since you met him.Â
You didnât want to think about how boring and plain your life will be again once you are set to return home.
âPlease,â you whisper again, one of your hands tangling in his hair and pulling on the strands. âMake me yours.â
Anakinâs jaw went slack at your pleads and he leaned down to press his body against yours, the skin on skin contact sending his mind into a frenzy. Locking your leg around his waist, he keeps it there with his metal hand as his other one caresses the side of your face, his elbow digging into the mattress to keep him upright.Â
âYou want me to make you mine, sweet girl?â He asked and you took notice of how deep his voice had gotten. You nod and were about to answer him when he ran the tip of his length down your slit before pushing into you. Your mouth fell open and you grip his bicep at the stretch, your eyes falling shut. âYou have no idea how much I wish you were, my angel, my princess.â
âAnakin,â you whine breathlessly and pull him closer, tilting your head to the side.Â
He gets the hint pretty quickly and dips his head down to begin placing open mouth kisses along the skin of your neck. At the sound of your breath hitching and the quiet moans leaving your lips, Anakin sets a steady pace that had him cursing silently. âI love the sounds you make, angel,â he mumbles, pressing a quick kiss to your jaw and then another one to your cheek. âSo good, so perfect for me.â
You moan loudly at the praise, tugging a bit harder on his hair in response. âIâm not perfect, Anakin,â you dismiss his words. He pulls his head away from your neck to meet your eyes, fully prepared to call you out on how wrong you were. You beat him to it. âYouâre the perfect one. You saved my life then continued to protect me with yours, and that is something I can never repay you for.âÂ
He shakes his head, his hand that was on your leg sliding up to grip your hip as he thrusts sharply into you, successfully shutting you up. âYouâre wrong,â he says as he tucks away the strands of your hair that messily fell over your forehead. He presses a chaste kiss to your lips, one that has you whining softly at how short lived it was when he pulled away. âI donât need you to repay me. I donât want you to. I just want you.â
You bring both hands up to rest on either side of his face, your thumbs gently stroking over his cheekbones. Your body swayed with the movement of his hips, your nose brushing against his every time he slipped into you. âAnakin,â it was the only thing you could say as any and all words seemed to have escaped you.Â
A deep groan that sounded borderline desperate towards the end leaves the back of his throat as he goes from slow and gentle thrusts to quick and powerful ones. âStay with me,â he whispers against your lips. It was a selfish ask, and one he knew would be next to impossible for you to oblige to, but he couldnât help himself.Â
Anakin wasnât a liar, he meant it when he said he wanted you. He wants you more than heâs ever wanted anything in his entire life. During the twenty one years heâs lived he has never felt so strongly, so desperately about someone before, and he couldnât help but cling onto the feeling of longing with everything he had in him.Â
Shutting out the rest of the world and only focusing on the way you looked beneath him, so willing and compliant, was easy. It felt right and like he was meant to experience this with you.Â
You fall quiet at his request, your hand pushing away his fallen curls to allow you to gaze into the sea of blue you had fallen so hard for.Â
Unsure of what to say as you were suddenly overcome with a sense of guilt, one so strong that you never knew you were capable of feeling this way, you lean up and connect your lips to his in a searing kiss.Â
He returns the kiss with about as much need as you poured into it. Your lips said the words you couldnât form, but you knew he needed reassurance that came in the form of verbal confirmation. So, you pull away when his tip reaches a depth in you that had you seeing stars for a quick second. âI want nothing more than to stay with you,â you struggle to get out, the quick pace of his hips making your ability to speak a lot harder than normal. At the relief that flashes through his eyes, you continue, âKeep me hidden, lock me away from the others and have me all to yourself. I donât think I could be happy anywhere else.â
Much like yourself, Anakin was also struggling to form words, your offers as well as the way you were clenching around him impossibly tight only adding to that. âIâve waited for you, sweet girl,â he breathed out, caging you in by placing his forearms on either side of your head. âMy whole life Iâve been waiting for you, and now that I finally have you I wonât let you go.â
He was possessive and said everything you craved to hear. âNever let me go,âÂ
He pressed his lips to yours at the same time you used what little energy you had left to lift yourself up while also using your grip on his shoulders to flip him over. His lower back was now where your head was a mere few seconds ago, his chest pressed to yours as you straddled him.Â
This angle allowed him to reach even deeper than before and he groaned at the way your eager walls hugged him with each lift of your hips. âJust like that, princess,â he murmured against your mouth, his eyes squeezing shut at the feeling of your hands tugging at his hair.Â
You couldnât remember the last time you had felt this good, felt this free. Vinny never let you get intimate with him, not unless he initiated it. The first time you slept with him felt like a bad dream. It was rushed, unsatisfying and one sided.Â
The few times you were intimate with him left you feeling cold, empty and used. You were beginning to believe that it was always supposed to feel that way, with only the man getting something out of the experience. It was why you could never bring yourself to push away the feeling of embarrassment and pleasure yourself, even after feeling soâŠ.gross once Vinny was finished.
You were even expecting this time around with Anakin to feel the same, but you couldnât have been more wrong.Â
Had you known that it could feel like thisâŠ.you wouldâve saved yourself for him without a question. Â
âSo good,â you manage to say as your eyes roll into the back of your head. Anakinâs hand had a death-tight grip on your waist while his other one pressed firmly against your back, hugging your body close to his. âSo..deep.â
His face heats up at that, but he hides it by attaching his lips to your neck. His tongue runs along the faint marks he made way earlier into the night and the sensation has you repressing a shiver.Â
Your body was covered in a light layer of sweat, as was Anakinâs, but neither of you cared in the slightest.Â
A knot was forming within you, a rope tied so tight that it had you clinging onto him with everything you had in you. Your quiet whimpers turned into needy moans, your body begging for the release that was steadily approaching.Â
Anakin, much more experienced than you, you were sure, must have sensed this as he held your body in place. The pleasurable feeling halted only for a second before it returned, this time from the quick thrusts of his hips.
When it becomes too much to handle, you cry out and press yourself against him completely, his hold on you allowing you to hide away while he rides you through it.Â
Your walls spasm around him, making you feel impossibly tight. Anakinâs own release was inevitable when he felt you harshly clamp around him, your bodyâs way of trying to put a pause to the overwhelming pleasure and stop it from feeling so sensitive. You were successfully tainted, painted with the feeling of another man who would put his life on the line to save yours.Â
He thrusts into you two more times before falling completely still, his hand on your back sliding down so he could wrap both of his arms around your middle.Â
Your legs burned as you held his head against your chest and ran your fingers through his slightly damp hair. With him still buried deep within you, you pull back just enough to press a delicate kiss to his awaiting lips.Â
It was short lived as you both were beyond spent at this point, your bodies aching and begging for a rest. âCan we stay like this? Just for a bit?â You ask, not surprised that you werenât feeling embarrassed or shy, like you normally did in the afterglow. You had a feeling you would never feel anything but content with him.
Anakin nodded and pushed away your hair from your forehead before placing a kiss against it. âWe can stay like this for as long as you want, angel,â he answers and runs his fingers up the length of your back, his hands tangling in the ends of your hair afterwards.Â
âJust for a bit,â you reiterate, exhaustion lacing your voice as he pulls you down to lay on top of him. You press your cheek against his shoulder, your arms tucked against his chest as it rises and falls. âI want to spend all day with you tomorrow.âÂ
He smiled at that, holding you closer to him. âIâll wake you up in the morning and then we can do whatever you want,â he promises and itâs enough to leave you nothing but satisfied.  Â
You both fell asleep rather quickly after that, and that was the beginning of the end.Â
You ended up waking up before him and had to untangle your body from his to be able to have a quick wash in his bathroom. It was just after you dressed yourself when someone knocked on Anakinâs door.
Not wanting whoever it was to wake the still sleeping Knight up, you quickly make your way to the door and swing it open, your heart falling when you are met with the joyful expression of Obi-Wan. âPrincess,â he greeted and you forced out a smile, now sure that you only liked it when Anakin called you that. âI have some great news. The war is over! Youâre free to return to Alderaan! Iâm sure youâve missed your people, as did they miss their leader.â
Your smile faltered completely at that and you stepped back, not missing the way his expression fell ever so slightly. You didnât want to believe his words. Not after such a memorable night with Anakin just a few hours prior.Â
How could you possibly leave him after all the quiet confessions you told one another?Â
âThis is good news, some of which Iâm sure Anakin will be happy to hear,â he continued, peeking his head into the room. âIs he here?â
You nodded slowly, the sound of your heart beating loudly making your voice sound muffled. âHeâs still asleep, we wereâŠâŠtraining,â you trail off before straightening your posture, more than a little upset at how quickly you fell back into your superior stance. âYesterday he was kind enough to show me how to properly hold a lightsaber.â
Obi-Wan smiled at that, nodding his head in understanding. âI have no trouble believing that. Anakin has never been one to keep his excitement to himself,â
âThank you for informing me,â you nod back. âShould I go wake him up so he can get ready?â
âThat wonât be necessary,â he waved you off and gave you another smile. âLet the boy rest, I will take it upon myself to get you home safely. You and Anakin can say goodbye another time.â
Your heart broke further at that.
You couldnât imagine leaving him behind and not saying goodbye to him. You felt devastated, but you also didnât want to deny someone as kind and selfless as the man in front of you. So, you nod. âThat would be nice,â you step further into the room as you feel the skin of your chest. âLet me go get my pendant and then weâll be on our way.â
Not bothering to wait for his reply, you turn on your heel and head straight towards Anakinâs room, finding him still fast asleep under the sheet you threw over him.Â
Tears spring into your eyes as you slowly creep towards the bed, your shoulders tensing up as you struggle to hold them back.
He looked so peaceful, so worryless and carefree.Â
Beautiful beyond words.
Your heart broke even more at the sight of him, his body still and undisturbed.Â
You kneel down beside him, your hand shaky as you reach over and run your hand through his curls for what you feared was the last time. A few tears escape your eyes as you lean down to press a kiss to his forehead. âGoodbye, Anakin,â you whisper and press a final kiss to the top of his head before standing up, missing the way his brows furrowed in his sleep when you quickly stood up from his bed. âI never deserved you. Iâm sorry.â
You wanted to say so much more, give him a proper goodbye - one where he was awake and responsive. But it wouldâve been much too hard to go through with.
Before you could stop yourself and jump back into bed with him, you grab your necklace from its spot on his dresser, as well as your ring from off the floor, and flee through the doorway, hiding your tear-filled eyes from Obi-Wan as he led you towards his ship.Â
What you didnât know was that as soon as you were on it and headed back to Alderaan, Anakin woke up abruptly, his body reacting to the absence of yours while his mind was still plagued with sleep.

The sun was just beginning to slip through the blinds that covered the window beside the bed, but you have yet to get more than a few minutes of sleep. You were far too high on excitement and happiness that came with wearing the ring that committed you to Leon for as long as you wore it.Â
Which you planned on being the rest of your life.Â
You had fallen asleep for maybe five minutes before you were woken up by Leonâs lips on your neck. He peppered kisses along your collarbones and shoulders until you rewarded him by opening your eyes and tugging on his hair in response.Â
Neither of you could stay asleep for too long before you were waking each other up and basking in the giddiness that filled you.Â
Y/n Kennedy had a nice ring to it.
Literally.
As Leon moves impossibly closer to you, the sheets draped over both your waists, you raise your hand and watch as the sunlight reflects off the gem. âI canât stop staring at it,â you say quietly, your words barely able to get out due to the permanent smile on your face.Â
Leon hums in response, pressing a kiss to your shoulder before lifting his head and looking at your still raised hand. âYou have the rest of our lives to stare at it,â he tells you, placing another kiss to your arm as his hand lifts up to wrap around your wrist. He pulls your hand down and laces your fingers together. âKiss me.â
You oblige with zero hesitation, turning your head to the side and pressing your lips to his. He moves to hover over you, pushing your joined hands against the mattress beside your head.Â
Your lips, though swollen from kissing him for hours on end since he proposed, desperately moved against his as your free hand traveled to his hair. Bunching it up in your fingers, you tug on the strands as his hand reaches down to grip your waist. âI canât believe youâre finally going to be Mrs Kennedy,â his words came out muffled due to his mouth barely detaching from yours.Â
As his lips trail down your neck, you admire the way the ring shines through his light hair and take pleasure in how the short strands become tangled around the band. âI canât believe you waited so long to ask me,â you tease quietly, goosebumps emitting on the skin of your neck as he laughs breathlessly against it.
âWhen would you have preferred me to have asked?â He teased back, his hands tugging on the shirt of his he gave you to wear to bed last night. âWhen I was pretending I was asleep in the guestroom at your house or when I was in your bed with my head between your thighs?âÂ
Your face heats up at his words and the way they turn you on effortlessly.Â
God, the achingly beautiful man who was currently sucking a mark into the skin of your abdomen is going to be your husband?
You felt like you were dreaming. And this was a dream you never wanted to wake up from.Â
Tugging on his arms to pull him back up, you press a chaste kiss to his lips before tilting your head to the side. âYou couldâve proposed to me just five days into the relationship and I wouldâve said yes,â you grin at him and guide his head towards your neck again. âBut Iâm still the happiest Iâve ever been in my entire life.â
Leon hummed in response, his lips peppering kisses over your skin once again, assuming that was what you had wanted him to do when you pushed his face towards the crevice between your neck and shoulder.Â
Your next words had him nearly losing every ounce of self control he had in him. âI donât care what my dad thinks anymore, I want to feel you,â you sounded more desperate than he had ever heard you, something that had him growing hard against the confinements of his sweatpants. âPlease, Leon, make me yours.â
Instantly he knew what you really wanted and he was more than happy to oblige.Â
Dipping his head down, he wasted no time in sucking on the skin of your neck, his tongue poking out to run along each and every purple mark he made on you. The moans you let out only fueled him to continue until he had sucked a fair amount of hickeyâs into the skin of your shoulder, neck and collar bonesÂ
The sight he was met with when he pulled away had him going feral.
To see you like this, completely marked and tainted by him after holding back for so longâŠhe was sure you had never looked more beautiful than you did right now. âThere,â he murmured as he admired his work, pushing himself up so he was kneeling above you. âBut no amount of those could change the fact that you were already mine before this.â
His possessive words send a hot jolt through you and you whimper, refraining from pulling him back down.
His hands teasingly begin to push down the grey sweats that hung on his hips, âYou were mine from the first second I saw you,â
Losing all self control, you sit up and push him so he is on his back, his task of ridding himself from the article being forgotten as you move to straddle his waist. âKeep talking to me like that and we wonât leave this bed for the rest of the day,â
He shrugs, his hands finding their home on your hips. âYou say that like it would be a problem for me,â he says, his voice sounding even deeper than usual. The sound makes you feel dizzy in the best way. âIf I had my way, Iâd stay in bed with you everyday for the rest of our lives.â
Placing your hands on his chest, you canât help but love the way the ring looks from this point of view; your left hand resting on his abs and the gem staring back at you. You were sure you would never get over how pretty this ring is. âWho says we canât do that?â You lean down and brush your nose against his. âAs far as Iâm concerned, Iâve got no reason to leave the bed every morning. I can be your perfect little house wife while you go out and do whatever it is that you do and still wonât tell me about.â
âAnd I never will,â he says and grabs your wrists, tugging you down so your chest is pressed to his. âBut the image you just put in my head about you being my pretty house wifeâŠfuck.â
You felt like a hypocrite; hating the fact that your father never let you leave the house but loving the idea of staying home in a house that belonged to only you and Leon for the rest of your life. Yet, you didnât care.
You would gladly stay locked away if it meant it was Leon who came home to you at the end of every day.Â
âCan you imagine how I will look when Iâm carrying your baby?â You knew the image that would be put into his head with your words would drive him wild. He had an overwhelming desire to have a semi-normal life with you that included moving into a house together, getting married and eventually having kids.Â
The thought of you carrying his child never failed to send him into a frenzy. âFuck, princess, donât do this to me,â his head fell back against the pillow as his eyes closed. âYou keep talking like that and I might have to knock you up right here and now.â
âThat might be hard since Iâm on the pill,â you trail off, pressing a kiss to his jaw. âBut that doesnât mean we canât practice.âÂ
At that Leon grabs a hold of your waist and connects your lips in a searing kiss. His tight hold on you left you powerless to do anything as he began to grind your hips down onto his, the friction beyond needed at this point, despite the fact that Leon had been taking you over and over again since the minute he slipped that ring on your finger.Â
You moan against his mouth before pulling away and trailing kisses down his neck. You trace your lips along the length of his chest, pressing soft kisses against the faded scars that littered his skin.Â
The usual feeling of sadness fills you as you pay extra attention to the scar from the bullet before you move on to trace your tongue along the lining of his sweats. Tugging the material down, you were about to take him into your mouth before he grabbed your hand, making you glance up at him. âI need you,â he pulled your body back up so it was hovering over his. âI need to feel you.â
You just grin at him and nod, pressing a quick kiss to his lips before reaching down and gripping the base of him. You tug the lacy material of your underwear down your legs with your freehand as your finger applies the faintest amount of pressure to his length. The both of you let out a relieved moan as you lifted your hips to be able to sink down onto him, his hands immediately moving to grip your waist.
His fingers bunch up the oversized shirt that still hung off your body, something he was glad you decided to keep on. As much as he loved to see you completely exposed to him, he couldnât deny the pride that filled him whenever he found himself buried inside you while you wore his clothing.Â
It was dirty and the possessive feeling came back full swing but he loved it. He loved how you single handedly changed his perspective on relationships and love itself, successfully bringing out sides of him that he never knew he had.Â
Leon wasnât one for relationships. He just didnât see himself as one of those people who needed someone else for the rest of their lives. He didnât see the point. Until he met you. Â
He was never possessive over anyone in his life, so to feel it every time he made eye contact with you was something he was quickly getting used to.Â
He finally understood those guys who bitch and complain whenever theyâre away from their significant others as he feared he was becoming one of those guys, but he didnât care enough to stop it.
The view he was currently being met with as you begin to fuck yourself onto him was one he wants to burn into his head just so he could go back to this exact moment whenever he wanted.Â
The sight of you on top of him, wearing nothing but his old shirt heâs now got an unfathomable amount of fondness for, sent his body into overdrive. He pushed the shirt up just enough for him to be able to see himself disappearing into you with every bounce of your body.Â
It has him letting out a loud groan, his eyes raking up your body and landing on the trail of marks that began at your collar bone and went all the way up your neck. âFuck, you look so hot like this,â he mumbled, his heart skipping a couple beats at the laugh that escaped you which quickly turned into a moan as you sunk back down on him. âSo fucking perfect.â
âIâm not perfect, Leon,â you murmured, blushing under his intense stare.
âYou are, baby,â his hands slide down to your thighs, his fingers gently digging into your skin. âYouâre so beautiful, so perfect for me. God, I love you.â
Keeping his hands on your thighs, he lifts his body up effortlessly. With his chest now pressed to yours, you wrap your arms around his shoulders and connect your lips in a kiss. Now that he was sitting upright, you had to crane your neck a bit due to the size difference between the two of you.Â
Leonâs hands slide up your back and tangle in your hair, his grip on you allowing him to take control of the kiss. âI love you,â you mumble into the kiss, gently raking your nails down his back. âYouâre too good for me.â
He pulls away and shakes his head, his blue eyes staring into yours. âYouâve got it all wrong,â he says quietly, holding back various groans at the feeling of your walls tightening around him. âYouâre too good for me. My sweet girl.â
You whimpered as you lifted yourself up slowly, the speed making you feel every inch of him. âLeon,â it was all you could say.Â
âI know, baby,â he murmured as he helped guide your slow movements. âFuck, you feel so good, taking me so well. You were made for me.âÂ
You really were. Your bodies fit so well together, you couldnât imagine being with anyone else after youâve gotten a taste of Leon Kennedy. When you remembered that you wouldnât have to, seeing as you were now scheduled to wed, it further fueled your body to move faster on top of him.
The feeling of your tight walls stretching around him had Leon leaning in and latching his mouth onto your neck to keep him from emitting the guttural sounds that threatened to escape his throat.Â
Your body was beginning to heat up and your legs burned with overexertion, making you slow down once again. As you rolled your hips into his, you lean forward and rest your forehead on his shoulder, a breathless plea leaving your lips, âFuck me, Leon, please,âÂ
At the sound of your desperate beg, Leon looks down at you, his eyes darkening even more at your fucked out expression. âYeah, want me to fuck you?â He asked and nearly came when you only whimpered in response. He straightened his posture and tightly gripped your hips to keep you still as he began to thrust upwards.Â
You moan loudly, tightly holding onto his shoulders. Â
Each time he sunk back into your heat your walls clenched around him, hugging him as if your body was molded just for his own personal use. âJust like that, princess,â he praised and his words only made you even more delirious with need.Â
You grab one of his wrists and place his hand flat against your lower stomach, pressing it harder against your skin every time he bottoms out. Pulling up your shirt with your free hand just enough to be able to see his girth, you moan at the sight. âYouâre so big,â you murmured as you looked down to watch as he disappeared inside you. âI can feel you right here.â
Your words, of course, go straight to his head, and he smirks. It is quickly wiped away, however, when he glanced down and saw the outline of himself pressing against your abdomen from the inside. âFuck,â he muttered, his eyes now glued to the way he bulged with every thrust of his hips. âFuck, youâre so hot. I love you so much.â
You grin down at him and begin to bring your body down to meet his thrusts.Â
You wouldnât last much longer, your body still sensitive from your previous highs and making your release come much faster than it would have had you not already come around him multiple times since you arrived.Â
Leaning down, you rest your forehead against his as you put most of your energy into lifting your hips to be able to meet the pace of his, your bodies coming together to create an almost overwhelming feeling of bliss.Â
With his grip on your waist tight, Leon had full control over the situation, even though he was currently the one on the bottom. He was unbelievably strong and he used that to his advantage, something you didnât mind one bit. If anything, his strength was something that you found undeniably attractive and it never failed to leave you light headed every time he inflicted it upon you.Â
When his teeth lightly nip at your jaw you grip onto him even tighter as your body stills. With Leon still drilling into your heat, you had no choice but to cry out as he brought you to that everlasting peak once more, the surge of your release washing over you for the fourth time since his proposal.
You feared you would be bed ridden once you were married and the two of you could finally have your ways with each other whenever you wanted.Â
The thought has you clenching around him tightly, causing him to stop the quick thrusts of his hips as he spilled into you, tainting you beyond repair as your greedy, tight walls took everything he gave you.Â
He came with a low grunt right next to your ear and the sound has you whimpering softly against his neck. Leon pulls away to grip the sides of your face, guiding you into a bruising kiss that leaves you breathless.Â
Pulling away with a grin, you use whatever energy you have left to push him back so you can lay next to him. He wraps his arm around you, tucking your head in the crevice between his bicep and forearm and hooking your leg around his waist.Â
With a deep sigh, you ask, âHow long have we been in bed for?âÂ
Leon laughs breathlessly, using his free hand to turn the digital alarm clock that was on his nightstand towards him. âAlmost ten hours,â he answers before turning back to you. âNot long enough for me.â
You roll your eyes and press a quick kiss to his chest. âWe should probably get up soon. We have some news we need to deliver to a certain someone, afterall,â you point out and feel the way he sighs but nods in understanding. âSpeaking of, can you pass me my phone? I can only imagine how many times heâs called since I left.â
He untangles himself from you and grabs both yours and his phone from their places on the nightstand before handing it to you.Â
You take it from him with a soft, âThanks,â before settling back into his side as you wait for your phone to turn on. âFuck.â
âWhat?âÂ
You scroll through the endless messages you received from your father and a few unknown numbers, no doubt from some of your fathers men. He probably gave them your number to see if they had better luck at reaching you when his own messages had gone unanswered. âHe gave my phone number to some of the guys,â you mutter and switch to your call logs.Â
âWhat?â Leon asks again as he waits for his own phone to turn back on. The decision to power both devices off and just be with each other was a mutual one and it was made pretty quickly after he showed you the ring and then your phone went off with the first of many calls from your dad. âYou should get it changed. Itâs not safe for them to have it.â
He seriously couldnât believe your dad had given your personal information to complete strangers. He knew the guys who worked for your dad, and other than Harvey, all of them could not be trusted. It pissed him off, the fact that he didnât care so long as he got a response from you in the end.Â
âYeah, I will,â you agree, then click on your voicemail. âHang on.âÂ
Putting your phone on speaker, you hold it up so both you and Leon could hear what your father had left on your voicemail. âHi, sweetheart,â you donât bother to hold back the cringe at the name. âIâm so sorry for everything. Youâre right, youâre your own person and I canât keep you here when you have your own life to live. Iâm sorry I wasnât more understanding. Please, come home so we can talk about this in person. Itâs not safe for you to be wandering around when youâre angry.â
He assumed you had left to go for a drive or a walk to cool off, not expecting you to run to Leon for some much needed comfort.Â
âHey, you said you wanted to start looking for a job, right? Maybe we can talk about that when you come home, too,â you hated the fact that he said when and not if, assuming thatâd you come crawling back after hearing his apology. âIâm really sorry, honey. I hope to see you soon.â
The message ends shortly after that and leaves you speechless. Luckily, Leon murmurs something about him receiving a voicemail, too.
Tapping the speaker button, he waits for your dad to start speaking again, this time through his phone. âHey, Leon. I was hoping to catch you before you went to bed, that is why you turned your phone off, right? Anyway, Y/n and I had a small disagreement earlier and she left the house. That was a few hours ago and she hasnât come back yet. She left with a bag, and I canât help but fear the worst. You and I both know how dangerous the streets around town can be, especially as of lately,â his tone sounded different now, like he was playing up a fake worried voice, when he actually sounded like he was holding himself back from completely going off on him. There was no way he knew you went to Leon, right? You had been so careful. âIf you see her, give me a call. If she doesnât return home by tomorrow morning, I want you and Harvey to go out looking for her. We have a lot more to discuss. Take care and Iâll see you tomorrow.â
The message ends there and you furrow your brows as you sit up slightly. âHe sounded so different,â you say quietly, hating the way your nerves were beginning to eat you alive, so much so that you couldnât find comfort in the way Leon rubbed his hand down your back. âYou donât think he knows, right?â
Leon seemed a lot less worried than you, but there was a hint of hesitation in his voice as he waved you off. âNo,â he answered as he dropped his phone beside him on the bed. âNo, I mean, how could he? We act like strangers around each other when weâre with him, thereâs no way he found out.â
You nod but his words didnât assure you. âBut he sounded really mad, like he knew something we didnât,â you point out. âHe sounded mad at you.â
He brushed you off again as he sat up with a groan, his body sore from all theâŠ.activities he put it through during the last sixteen hours. âProbably because I missed his call,â he says and that actually puts your wandering mind at ease, even if just a bit. âDonât worry, baby, weâre good.â
Nodding, you run your hand through his hair in an attempt to tame the messy blond strands. âYeah,â you agree, smiling once his hair was fixed. âYeah, youâre probably right. Still, we should probably head over there soon. I donât want him to send out a whole search party.â
The pair of you get up shortly after that, with Leon running out to your car to grab the bag you left on the passenger seat. You had failed to take it in with you, and during your eventful night, you hadnât needed anything in the bag until now.Â
After dressing yourself in an oversized sweater and jeans, you take Leonâs awaiting hand and let him lead you out to his own car. You both decided to show up together, to give your dad a warning just in case he was watching the window while he waited for you to return.Â
As Leon made the all too familiar drive to your house you couldnât help but feel a sinking sensation in your stomach. Despite Leonâs attempts at calming you down, you still werenât reassured about how much your dad knew.Â
You knew your father quite well, and knew when he was lying or not telling you something. His voice became tighter, more strained and more forceful. That was exactly how he sounded in the voicemail he sent to Leon.Â
But on the other hand, how could he have known? Sure, you had let it slip that you were aware of what his job really was, but you never mentioned Leon, not once. And Leon was right, whenever he was at your house with your dad, the two of you acted like complete strangers whenever you were in the same room.Â
You were sure that you hadnât given any indication that you were together and had been for quite some time now.Â
As you gaze out the window at the passing scenery, you absentmindedly reach up to place your hand over your chest, expecting to feel the cool chain of your necklace. When you donât feel anything, you panic a bit and glance down to see that you werenât wearing the necklace that Leon had gotten you, like you thought you were the whole time.
With his hand placed firmly on your thigh while he kept the other on the wheel, Leon glanced over at you when he saw you fidgeting out of the corner of his eye. âWhatâs wrong?â
You look over at him and see the hint of concern in his eye. Dropping your hand from your chest and instead placing it over his, you give him a tight smile. âNothing,â you say but can tell he didnât believe you. âIâm good.â
Knowing that there was some tension among you, due to the nerves about telling your dad about your relationship, Leon didnât push you and instead moved his hand so his fingers were laced with yours before looking back at the road.Â
-
You werenât sure what to expect when you returned home, your hand tightly clasped in Leonâs as he let you lead him this time.Â
Maybe your dad was still in bed? Unlikely since it was nearing one in the afternoon, but the option was never ruled out.Â
Maybe he was waiting in the den? Likely.
Maybe he had already sent out his guys to go look for you, even without ever hearing back from the best one, Leon. Also, very likely.Â
As you push the front door open and step into the unnecessarily large entryway, your eyes meet the ones of your father almost instantly. He stands from his seated position on the stairs and clenches his jaw when he sees the way Leon had stepped in front of you just slightly, shielding your body only partly from your fathers cold eyes.
Then, almost eerily, the hard stare drops and he smiles at you, seeming to ignore the way Leon was protecting you with his body. âY/n,â he says sweetly, making no move to step down the stairs and greet you with a hug, something you were so used to him doing every time he saw you. âI knew youâd come back.â
He finally glances at the tall blond next to you, his eye twitching as he takes in the dark marks that were barely visible under his black fitted shirt. There was no wayâŠ
âAnd I see Leon has come back with you,â he nods at the man beside you in a form of greeting. âSo, you got my message, after all.â
He thinks Leon was just bringing you home? That he had found you and took you back to your dad under his orders? Maybe you really were reading too much into it and your dad didnât know a thing about your relationship.Â
That had you stepping forward, your shoulder now pressed to Leonâs while you keep your hand locked in his. âNot exactly,â you start and glance up at your boyfriend, and it was then when your father saw the ring on your finger. âDad, I have something to tell you.â
Before you could confess, your dad held his hand up and successfully shut you up with the simple gesture, your shoulders dropping when you caught sight of the necklace that hung from his fingers. The very same one you were looking for back in the car, and it was then when Leon realized why you were fidgeting so much while you felt around on your chest.
âLet me guess,â he began and his tone had Leonâs grip on you tightening. Your fatherâs eyes narrowed on the various purple marks that peeked out from under your shirt, as well as the ones that littered the skin of your neck. His mind went back to all the times he saw Leonâs skin look similar, and he now knew who the person was that marked him. It was right in front of him this whole time. âYou two have been seeing each other behind my back, and heâs filled your head with distasteful thoughts about me, the man who has protected you every second of every day since you were born. And let me guess, heâs the person you run off to whenever we have a disagreement. Am I wrong?â
Your mouth went dry and you stared at Leon in shock while he kept a straight face and continued to look at your father.Â
So it was true. You hadnât been reading too much into it. Your dad knew everything and you didnât even have to tell him.
So much for being âso carefulâ.
The men held eye contact as your dad asked, âAm I wrong, Leon?â
You felt your heart beating loudly in your ears as he clenched his jaw and shook his head. âNo,â to not hear that being followed up by the usual sir he always referred to your dad by was a little beyond nerve wracking.
Your dad tsked, nodding curtly. âThatâs what I was afraid youâd say,â he sighed heavily and you were quickly beginning to feel beyond creeped out at how calm he appeared. You could tell that Leon was feeling on edge, as well, but hid it a lot better than you did, unsurprisingly. âThatâs going to have to come to an end.â
âDad,â you say, your eyes widening, not really sure of what you were expecting him to say when confronted with his daughter and right hand manâs secret relationship. âNo.â
âYes, Y/n,â he says back, finally making his way down the last few steps and nearing the two of you. âYou didnât expect me to just be okay with this, did you?â
You struggle to find words as you shake your head, cowering closer to Leon in hopes to be provided with a sense of comfort. âNo, but-â
âClark,â Leon cut you off, clearly understanding how flustered you were getting and deciding to help you out a bit. âListen to me for a minute, alright?â
Your dad laughed at that, his hand inching behind his body as if he was reaching for something. âAnd you. I trusted you. I trusted you with my life, with my daughter, with my house, and this is what I get?â He asked but didnât give Leon the chance to answer. âYouâre a traitor, Kennedy.â
Leon bit back a grunt at that and opened his mouth to ask, âWhy? Because I fell in love with your daughter? Because I promised her a life you clearly couldnât be bothered to give her?â
You give him a nervous look, tightening your hold on his hand just slightly. âNo, not because of that,â your dad answered. âBecause youâve not only been using me, but youâve been using her, as well.â
That had your brows furrowing as you looked at Leonâs broad shoulder when it tensed up. âWhat?â
âClark,â Leon muttered, gripping your hand tighter when he felt you start to pull away. Things were quickly beginning to slip out of his control.
Clark just smirked as you tugged on Leonâs hand, trying to get him to turn to you as you needed to see if he had guilt in his eyes or not. âLeon, what is he talking about?âÂ
âNothing,â he said with a clenched jaw.Â
Your dad just laughed again. âLetâs not lie to her, Leon. If that even is your real name,â that made you even more confused and you stopped tugging on his hand, his stance not faltering in the slightest at your attempts to get him to look at you. Why wouldnât he look at you?Â
âLeon, what is he talking about?â You ask again, this time more desperately than the last. You couldnât help but feel left out, like you were missing something obvious that only the two men knew.Â
The sound of your voice had his stance breaking just slightly as he turned his head to look down at you. Guilt was, in fact, swimming in his blue eyes and it had you taking a few steps away from him. You didnât get far seeing as he still had a firm hold on your hand. âY/n,â
Your dad watched the whole thing with a smug smirk, his fingers fumbling around with the back of his pants as if he was searching for something. âDo you want to tell her or should I?â He asked and this had you pulling away from Leon with a sharp tug of your arm.Â
âWhat? Tell me what?â You were nearly shouting at this point and it made Leon wince as he refrained from reaching out to you again. If you needed space right now, he would give it to you, no matter how badly he wanted to take you into his arms and take you far away from this place.Â
Your lover opened his mouth to respond, but it seemed like your dad was going to be the bearer of bad news. âHeâs been using us, sweetheart,â he began and didnât give you any time to ask questions before continuing, âLeonâs not who you think he is, and he wasnât who I thought he was, either. He doesnât even live here, he lives across the state, where his real life is. Everything heâs told you has been a lie, a way to break our trust. He came here to get information about me so he could give it to his old pal Chris, isnât that right, Leon?â
You stared at Leonâs back, hoping to anyone that was listening that this was some sick joke, a cruel prank, a lie your dad came up with in hopes it would break your trust for the man who stood completely still as he didnât deny the accusation.
He didnât deny a thing. With your heart in your throat, you ask, âItâs true, isnât it?âÂ
Leon turned his back on your dad and missed the way his hand wrapped around the cool metal of the gun he had stored in the back of his pants. âY/n,â he started but didnât know what to say to make this better for you. There was no easy way for you to hear this, he knew that. âBaby, I-â
âYou used my dad to get information,â you mumble, trying to wrap your head around what was being said to you. Having Leon, who was quickly beginning to feel like a stranger at this point, so close to you didnât help the feeling of betrayal that was filling your body. âThen used me to tell you the things he didnât say because you knew Iâd tell you anything you needed to know about him without question. You knew Iâd confess to anything if it meant I got to have you in the end.â
Leon quickly shook his head, his heart breaking at the way your eyes filled with tears because of him. âNo, no thatâs not- I never used you,â he tried to reach for your hand but you pulled away from him, your fingers reaching for the ring that he had given you not even twenty four hours ago.Â
You were going to give it back to him.Â
âStop, please,â he begged, not wanting to see you return the one thing that actually meant something to him, the thing that tied him to you for what should be the rest of his life. âIâve loved you since the minute I met you. I love you more than anything else in the world and every minute, every single second Iâve spent with you has been nothing but genuine.â
Your teary eyes glared up at his, guilt still present in the blue orbs. You could also see a hint of honesty, so he was telling the truth, but you were far too hurt to take that into consideration as you shook your head and mumbled, âI donât believe you,â
Leon was pretty sure his heart had physically broken when you said that. You had abandoned your previous task of taking the ring off, your arms crossing over your chest in a last ditch effort to protect yourself, but he had weakened your trust in him considerably, something he never wanted to do.Â
Your dad wasnât helping, either. âHe lied to you, honey. I tried to warn you,â he said with the fakest sounding sympathy Leon had ever heard.
It had him turning back around to face the older man. âNo. Stop putting lies in her head,â he seethed. âSheâs not a child anymore.â
Your dad straightened his posture. âThatâs where youâre wrong, Kennedy,â he lifted his hand, revealing the gun he had been hiding since you walked through the front door. âSheâs my child, now step away from her.â
Since Leon was blocking your view, you didnât see what he was holding as you furrowed your brows and moved to stand next to Leon instead of behind him. âDad, what are you..â
The words die on your tongue when you catch sight of the pistol pointed directly at Leon. âGet away from him, Y/n,â
Leon didnât move an inch, and it was clear this wasnât his first time having a gun pointed at him. His bullet wound was enough of an answer to that one. Still, your tears come to a stop as you ask, âOr what, youâll shoot him?â Your heart deflated a bit when his stance didnât falter. âYouâre going to shoot him, arenât you?â
He didnât answer you, instead opting to give you another warning. âGet away from him. Now,â
It was then when countless men emerged from various doors, guns raised and pointed at Leon, but none would shoot while you were still in the line of fire. It was clear that this had been a set up. Your father had been waiting for you to come back, and he knew youâd return with Leon, and then he could kill him without so much as a goodbye.
You rapidly shake your head and turn to look at the blond, who refused to break eye contact once your eyes met his own. He didnât look scared or angry, like you would expect him to. No, he looked defeated, sad, even. âGo, Y/n,â his words were quiet and barely audible.Â
But you heard him loud and clear. âI canât,â you say quickly. âLeon, heâs going to kill you. I canât.â
âItâs okay,â he says and reaches for your hand and holds back a smile when you let him take it in his bigger one. His thumb brushes over the ring before he looks back up at you. âIâd rather die than see you get hurt. I canât hurt you anymore than I already have, I wonât. Please.â
You shake your head again but are powerless to stop him when he steps away from you, his hand falling from yours as he puts the distance that was needed between you so you wouldnât be affected by the pulling of the trigger.Â
Leon, the man who would die for you.
Leon, the man who had betrayed your father, but fell in love with you along the way.
Leon, the love of your life.
âLeon,â you begged quietly, not knowing what else there was left to do. You wouldnât be able to watch as your dad shot him, you couldnât. Leon had always been your safe space, your person and the reason you began living for yourself instead of your father. He shaped you into who you are today, a more head-strong, carefree woman instead of the obedient, shy and oblivious girl you were before you met him.
You couldnât say goodbye to him. You wouldnât.
And as the safety was clicked off and the trigger was seconds away from being pulled, something happened that helped prevent that goodbye.Â
The front door swung open and an abundance of unfamiliar men came flooding in, the one in front having dark hair with stubble to match on his matured and defined face. âClark,â he greeted your dad as if they were old friends, but the way he had his own gun pointed at him told you they most certainly were not. âWhat the fuck are you doing, man?â
You couldnât help the way your brows furrowed in confusion and you allowed Leon to grab your wrist as he pulled you back to him.Â
âRedfield,â was all your dad said through his clenched jaw.Â
The stranger grinned as he stepped forward and handed the gun to Leon before grabbing another one from its spot on his hip. The group he came in with had an array of guns pointed at your dad and his men, and this was probably the first time you had ever seen your father look nervous.Â
This Redfield guy glanced over at you, then at your hand, the ring that was still clasped around your finger fueling his next words, âI see your daughter is set to wed soon,â he observed, his stance never faltering as he pointed the gun at your father. âIâd put the gun down if you still want to walk your little girl down the aisle.â
Your mind was a blur as you allowed Leon to pull you towards the stairs, your legs barely keeping up with the rest of you as he brought the hand that wasnât holding a weapon up to caress the side of your face. âGo up to your room, pack only the things you need,â he says before adding, âIâll meet you in there as soon as I can.âÂ
Dazed, you nod and take the stairs two at a time, feeling Leonâs eyes on you the whole time before you disappear around the corner and into the hall that led to your room.Â
Once you are in there, you stand in pure shock and confusion for a second or two before springing into action. You grab a spare bag and half-hazardly throw in some clothing and other essential necessities before giving your room a once over.Â
Not sure what to do next, you sit on your bed next to the bag and begin to chew on your thumbnail, your nerves eating you alive as you wait for Leon to come meet you.
You couldnât begin to wrap your head around what just happened. Your dad was literal seconds away from shooting and killing Leon when some guy shows up and puts a pause on the whole event.
Who was that guy? Leon knew him, that much was obvious as they were clearly on the same side here. Was he someone from Leonâs real life across the state? He had to be.Â
You felt like you were going to have a heart attack and couldnât be more grateful when the door swung open ten minutes later and Leon came staggering into the room.Â
You were relieved when he seemed to be untouched, no blood or wound visible on his body as far as you could tell.Â
He also seemed to huff out a sigh of relief as he tucked the gun away and made the short walk over to you. He stood in front of you and placed his hands on either side of your face, leaning down to press a surprisingly soft kiss to the top of your head.
You grip his forearms and pull him down to sit next to you, your eyes searching his for any answers to the hundreds of questions you have. âWhatâs going on?âÂ
Leon looked conflicted as he answered you, âItâs a lot to explain right now,â and it was the truth.Â
âCan you give me the brief, then?â You ask in hopes he would give you something to go off of. âBecause I donât feel comfortable going anywhere right now, let alone to wherever youâre planning on taking me.â
He sighed. âThatâs fair,â even if he felt as though you were pulling away from him, and even if that physically pained him to no end, he understood that you needed answers. He could only imagine all the questions swimming around in that pretty head of yours. âWhat do you want to know?â
There was very little time to be spent right now, but if you needed reassurance, then heâd spend as long as he needed to give that to you. In the end, he knew Chris could handle himself and keep things under control while he tried to get through to you.
It wasnât surprising that the strange man downstairs was your first question. âFor starters; who is that guy down there?â
Leon refused to lie to you, not when you were so vulnerable right now and not when he was trying to gain back a sliver of your trust. If he had a say in it, he would never lie to you for the rest of his life. âMy partner,â he answered slowly, not wanting to confuse you any more than you already are. âHis name is Chris Redfield.â
You narrow your eyes at that and turn your head away from him, breaking the eye contact that he was relying on to get him through this. âI thought Harvey was your partner? OrâŠ. whatever you two were,â
âHe is, or he was,â this wasnât going as well as he had hoped, seeing as you looked even more confused than before. âHarvey is the only person on your dadâs side that I trust. Heâs the only one who knew what my true intentions were, and he kept them hidden because heâs planning his own life, one away from all of this. He trusted me, as well, and understood why I was doing what I did.â
You glance up at him and hesitantly ask, âAnd what exactly was it that you did?âÂ
He was glad you didnât accuse him of using you. It made him feel the smallest bit of relief that you didnât believe the story your dad had thrown out. âI took this job to work for your dad for the sole purpose of gathering inside information on him and his business. I admit that I was fully intending on getting what I came for and leaving after, but then I met you,â he began the long story he dreaded telling you. âYou opened the door and let me in without any hesitation at all, and I knew then that you had no idea how dangerous that couldâve been for you had I been someone else. You trusted me, and I wanted to keep you safe from this secret life that you were oblivious to revolving around your dad.â
You held back a small smile at that and pushed further, needing to know more. âWhat information were you trying to get? Why was it so important?â
âChris had been building this case up on your dad for a while now, and needed a bit more to put an end to everything he was doing. It was too risky for him to do it himself, so I offered to be his inside man, and thatâs why I had to get so close to your dad and follow his orders, so he wouldnât question my loyalty,âÂ
One of your brows raised at that. âHowâd that work out for you?â
He laughed at that and the sound had you smiling. âAbout as well as youâd expect it to,â he shook his head and became serious again. âIâm sorry I didnât tell you the truth. I did use your dad and I did betray his trust, but I never once used you, like he said I did. I would never do that, Iâd never hurt you.â
You werenât used to hearing him so vulnerable and open. He had always been so tense when it came to talking about serious things like your dad being involved in the Mafia and him being associated with your dad. The whole thing freaked you out, and Leon knew this, so he never stayed on this topic for longer than he needed to.
Reaching over, you place your hand on his.Â
âI meant it when I said Iâve loved you since the minute we met. My feelings for you have never been anything but genuine,â he murmurs, turning his hand over so he could properly lace your fingers together. âI want to spend the rest of my life with you and I want to have a future with you. Thatâs why I gave you this.â
He lifted your hand so the ring was on full display. âIâm sorry I tried to take it off,â you say quietly, guilt seeping into your words. âI probably wouldnât have been able to go through with it, anyway, but it still doesnât make it okay.â
âNo, I get it,â he waved you off, this thumb tracing comforting circles on the back of your hand. âYou were just told a lot of surprising news and I donât blame you for not being able to cope with it right away.â
âStill,â you trail off, debating on what to do next. You still werenât entirely sure what Leonâs true intentions were when he first started working for your dad, but you fully believed that his love for you was genuine and not a game, like your father had suggested. You shift closer to him and bring your hands up to rest on his shoulders, needing that feeling of comfort you always got whenever you touched him. âI still want to be with you, nothingâs changed between us. Iâm still so in love with you.â
Leon smiled at that, his hands settling on your hips. The relief that flooded through him at your words had his heart racing, but there was still one thing he needed to tell you, and it was possibly the biggest secret he regretfully kept from you. âI love you, more than anything,â he nearly whispered. âWhich is why there is something else I need to tell you. I promise you that, after this, there will be no more secrets.â
You nod at him, silently urging him to continue.Â
His next words were ones he had to force out. âItâs about your mom,âÂ
That had you pulling back slightly, your brows furrowing. Your mom? What did Leon know about your mom? She had died so many years ago, so he never got the chance to meet her. You didnât even get the chance to say goodbye to her. âWhat do you mean?â
With a heavy sigh, Leon began the even longer story about how your mom passed, and how your dad was involved. âShe died in a car accident, right? Thatâs what your dad told you?â
âYeah?â You dragged the word out, confused as to where this was going.Â
âItâs not true,â there it was, the one thing that had him feeling so unbelievably guilty for months now. Your eyes widened at the revelation, but you didnât ask anything and let him continue. âThatâs what your dad wanted you to think, because he is the reason for what actually happened to her. She knew about his involvement with the Mob, but she loved him enough to keep quiet about it. Your dad was receiving threats, but instead of taking them seriously, he ignored them. Then your mom began receiving threats, as well. Your dad told her not to worry about it, and that was just how it is when youâre married to someone in the Mafia.â
You had a horrifying feeling about where this was going.Â
âThey went out one night for a date, and it was then when one of his enemies came out of an alleyway and shot her,â the silence that followed was deafening. Your ears were ringing and your skin heated up, an overwhelming feeling of guilt, sadness and betrayal taking over your body. You couldnât believe what you were hearing, but you could tell from the tone of his voice that he wasnât lying, not that heâd ever lie to you about your mom. It was too sore of a subject for you, and he knew that better than anyone.Â
âI-â you were quite literally speechless.Â
âYour dad ran off and when he came back, she was already gone. He forged the death certificate and had it ruled off as a car accident to cover his tracks and to protect his identity,â Leon just had to get the rest of it out before he lost you completely. âIâm sorry you never knew any of this, but I needed to tell you that being with me is dangerous. And even though I would never put you in a situation in which that would even come close to happening, you need to know that this life isnât safe for anyone involved in it.â
You had no idea what to say or even what to think about that. You knew that this kind of lifestyle was dangerous and there was an unbelievably high risk in getting involved in it, but that didnât stop you from pursuing this relationship with Leon in the first place.Â
Your safety wasnât your biggest concern right now, it was the other bomb he dropped.
Your mother died in a car accident, but apparently not?Â
How could your father have kept that from you for all these years? When did he tell Leon all of that? Why hadnât you questioned the sneakiness of the whole thing? You supposed you could blame your heartbreak on that last one. When she passed you were so full of regret and sadness, you couldnât focus on the exact details of her death.
You couldnât focus on how the full, clearly made up story, now that you thought of it, never really made a whole lot of sense. Date nights were rare for your parents, and the one time they do make an appearance outside the confinements of the house she gets into a car accident?Â
And your dad was somehow completely unharmed while your mom lost her life? It made absolutely no sense.
You open your mouth to respond but close it again as you try to process this information.Â
Leon hated being the one to deliver this awful news to you. He hated the fact that he was the voice behind the reason you felt so devastated. The thing he hated the most was that if he had never met you, then he would have never told you anything about his job or your dadâs job or your mom, and you would have never found out the truth. You would have never felt so betrayed.Â
âIâm sorry,â he offered, raising one hand to tuck the fallen strands of hair behind your ear. âI canât even begin to imagine how hard this must be for you. I understand if you need some time to think things through. You deserve better than this and I hope you know that. You deserve better than me and to not be involved in any of this. Iâm so sorry that Iâm the reason behind so much of your pain.â
You furrow your brows and look into his eyes, your head shaking a bit. âNo,â you barely get out before inching closer to him. âThereâs nothing I want more than to spend the rest of my life with you. I mean, I said âyesâ, right? Iâd do anything to be able to go back to last night, when you asked me to marry you. Leon, you make me so happy, I canât imagine being with anyone else. Yeah, it sucks that you knew about my momâs death, but I know why you didnât tell me about it. Youâve made it pretty clear that you donât want to see me get hurt, and this is probably the worst news Iâve ever heard in my entire life, and yet I feel grateful that it was you who told me it. I trust you more than anyone, and I want to be with you. Iâd risk it for you. Everything.â
You hoped he could see how genuine you were being, how honest you were and how much you needed him right now and in the future.Â
After this confession, you couldnât imagine continuing to live with your dad, not that you even wanted to. Your trust for him was shattered and broken beyond repair. Leon was by far the only person you wanted to be around right now, and probably will be for quite some time while you process the truth behind your momâs death.Â
You would eventually get past this, you knew that, and when you did you knew Leon would be there to help you pick up the pieces and provide a much healthier life for you once you got the hell out of this place.Â
âAre you sure you want this? Itâs not going to be easy and itâs more risky than you could possibly know,â he wanted to make sure that you knew what you were getting into by leaving with him. He would never let anything happen to you, and he would die before he allowed anyone to lay a finger on you. He was not your father, and he would make damn sure that your fate wasnât at all like your mothers.Â
âItâs not supposed to be, right?â You give him a weak smile. Things were far from being okay at the moment, but you knew you would be able to move past this all with time. Knowing that Leon would be there helped more than anything else. âAs long as you donât keep anything else from me and tell me when something is going on.â
He would do anything you wanted him to and he hoped you knew that. âI promise,â he leaned in and pressed a lingering kiss to your forehead.Â
Leon was going to say more but didnât get the chance to when your bedroom door swung open and Harvey came barreling in. âHey,â he said quickly. âIâm sorry for interrupting, but things are getting a bit crazy down there. Itâs probably best to leave now before everything goes to shit.â
He tosses Leon a set of keys, the blond catching them easily.Â
âWell, more than it has already,â his attempt at making light in a dark situation had you smiling softly. Harvey pointed to the keys as he said, âThere for the car down by the clearing. I figured it was too risky for you to take your own car so I brought one that will be harder to trace once you get out of here. Feel free to ditch it once youâre settled down and in someplace safe.â
Leon stands up from your bed, reaching down to sling your bag over his shoulder. âThank you, Harvey,â he says. âYou can still come with us, you know. Youâre family.â
âThank you for the offer,â he grins. âBut I have some unfinished business I need to take care of before I leave this town, as well. Iâll keep in contact. Maybe you guys can even invite me to the wedding whenever you decide to tie the knot.â
Leon nodded and asked, âHey, did you get in contact with Chris? Is that what happened down there?â
You furrowed your brows at that, assuming that Leon had called Chris himself and had this whole thing planned out.
Harvey shrugged, a boyish grin on his lips. âI figured you could use some help when you told me about your plans to leave. Chris was a hard one to track down, but he was more than willing to come down and get you two out of here once I got his number,â
Leon hadnât planned out the interruption of his own death. He was content with dying if it meant you could live and be free from your dad. He had no idea that Chris was on the way with backup, and he had no idea that Harvey had single-handedly prevented his inevitable demise.Â
You watch as the two share a look before standing up as well and wrapping your arms around the brunet. âThank you,â
Harvey returned the hug before letting you go with one of his signature smiles. âDonât mention it,â he steps away from the two of you as Leon comes up to stand beside you. âIt was a pleasure to know you. The both of you.âÂ
With a final smile, he turns around and exits the room to go act as if he was still on your dadâs side, when in reality he was planning on leaving by the end of the week and starting over somewhere else.Â
Once Harvey was back downstairs, Leon turned to you and gently grabbed your hand. âAre you ready?â He asks and you give one final look around your room, the same one that had felt more like a prison these last few months.Â
You nod and that was all Leon needed before he was leading you out of the room and down the back staircase. It was rarely used, so it came as no surprise to find it completely empty. He led you out the backdoor and around the side of the house, and you were glad he took this route to avoid the chaos that was happening in the front hall.Â
Once you were in the front yard, Leon clicked a button on the keys and gently pushed you in the direction of the car that lit up. After making sure you were safe in the passenger seat, he tosses your bag into the back before glancing back at your old house.Â
He makes eye contact with your dad, who was standing at the front door and looking more defeated than he had ever seen him.Â
Leon gave him a look that said;
Iâll take care of her, donât worry. Sheâs safe with me.
Oh, and fuck you, you fucking prick.Â
He turns back around and gets in the driverâs seat, noticing the familiar chain on the set of keys that Harvey gave him. He untangled the chain and realized exactly what it was.
âHey,â he says quietly and this gets your attention. You lift your head from where you had been staring at the glove box, stuck in your own head and letting your thoughts take over for a minute. When you look over at him your heart skips a beat at the necklace he held out to you, the same one Leon gave you to all those months ago, the same one your dad was holding an hour or so ago.
Leon wasnât sure how Harvey was able to get that back from your dad, but he was grateful for it nonetheless as he knew how much you loved that necklace and the memory of the night he gave it to you.Â
You take the necklace from him and hold it in your hands, your tired and teary eyes boring into his. He reaches over and strokes his thumb across your cheek before throwing the car in reverse and driving away from the house you no longer called home, only stopping once at his trailer to collect a few of his own things before he was back on the road and driving as far away as he could.Â

Six Months Later.
The air felt different here, clearer, better.Â
You never thought youâd ever turn into one of those girls who loved the feeling of sand between her toes and the cool breeze that came with sitting near the beach.Â
The balcony doors were wide open and allowed a fair amount of fresh air to enter the hotel room. You were sitting against one of the soft armchairs, your hair flowing slightly in the breeze as you stared out at the waves crashing against the shore.Â
It was peaceful here. You could see yourself being happy here.Â
The sound of the door opening and closing behind you tears your attention away from the water and you look across the room. Your gaze softens as you watch Leon enter the room, a single rose in his hand. âHi, pretty girl,â he murmurs and leans down to press a kiss to the top of your head.Â
âHi,â you say back, taking the flower when he held it out to you. âThank you.â
Leon crouches down in front of you, draping his arms over his knees as he looks up at you. âHow are you feeling today?âÂ
You give him a small smile. âGood,â you extend your hand out to him, your smile growing when he laces your fingers together. âReally good.â
He smiles back, bringing your joined hands up to press a kiss to the back of yours. âIâm glad,â he stands up and pulls you with him towards the balcony, his arms circling around your waist as the two of you stare at the many couples and families who were at the beach. Leon leans down to kiss your shoulder before resting his chin on top of it. âAre you happy here?â
You place your hand on top of his arm, the rose still clasped in your other one. âIâm happy wherever you are,â you say back and feel him smile against the skin of your neck. âBut, yes. I think I could be happy here.â
âYou think?â He hums and tightens his arms around you just slightly, never getting tired of feeling your body pressed against his. He loves how well you fit in his arms and he would gladly admit that to anyone who asked.Â
âYeah,â you trail off, turning your head to be able to look at him. âI heard you talking to Chris the other day, about how he has a place for us to move into soon thatâs near where he lives. Maybe Iâm wrong, but he doesnât seem like the type to live in a beach house.â
Leon laughs at that, shaking his head afterwards. âItâs not set in stone,â he assures you. âItâs just an option. Chris has been trying to help out as much as he can since he feels guilty, I think, about everything that happened.â
You look away and back towards the water. âWell, he shouldnât,â you murmur, leaning back in Leonâs hold. âHe helped me get me away from a dark place and I hope he knows how grateful I am for that.â
âHe does,â Leon mumbles, his fingers tracing random shapes against the skin of your hips.Â
âHe also saved your life, and by default he saved mine, too,â tilting your head to the side, you sigh when you feel his lips run along the necklace you wore, the heart shaped charm resting against your chest.Â
âHe holds that above me every chance he gets,â he muttered, grinning at the small laugh that escapes you. âBut if youâre happy here, then so am I. I donât care where we are, just as long as weâre together.â
You playfully roll your eyes. âCheesy,âÂ
He laughs and pulls away from you when he hears the sound of someone knocking on the door. You step back into the room and watch as he opens the door and steps aside when the visitor enters the room.
Your eyes widen and you place the rose down on the couch before running over and throwing yourself at the man.Â
âWoah,â Harvey laughed, wrapping his arms around you as he stumbled back slightly when he caught you. âIâm glad to see you, too.â
Leon shakes his head as he closes the door, crossing his arms across his chest as he looks at the two people he cared about most in the world. âTook you long enough,â
Harvey pulled away and gave his friend a shrug. âMy unfinished business took longer than I thought it would,â he grinned and pulled the blond into a hug. âThis place is nice.â
He pulled away and looked around the room, his eyes landing on the large couch. Harvey walked over and threw himself down onto it, reaching for the rose and bringing it up to inhale the fresh scent.Â
âHow long are you staying here for?â He asked. âAnd are there any rooms available for yours truly?â
Leon lit up at that, happy that Harvey was finally free from your dad and was able to start over so he can be happy for the first time in a long time.
You walk over to him and snuggle into his side, placing your hand on his chest and loving the way the sun reflected off the ring on your finger.Â
Leon wrapped his arm around you and looked over at his friend, his mind made up when he realized just how much he liked the image of having both you and his close friend around for the rest of his life. âI think weâll be here for a while,â

When Ethan invited you over to study and maybe have a drink or two, you were beyond excited.
It was no secret that you were crushing hard on the boy, the feeling you got whenever you were around him being something you had never felt before in your life.Â
It was definitely beyond just a silly middle school crush, that much you knew.Â
With Chad being gone for the night and Ethan having full control over what was inside the fridge, it came as no surprise that he had offered up one too many drinks, resulting in the two of you becoming very drunk very quickly.
You were still young and still very much experimenting with your alcohol limits, and it was clear that you both had gone well beyond them.Â
Reaching over and placing your can on the coffee table, you sit back against the couch and peer over at the window. At the dark sky that stared back at you, your brows furrow as you rub your eyes and ask, âWhat time is it?â
Ethan grabbed his phone from its place on the side table. âItâs, uh,â he trailed off, squinting his eyes before widening them, trying to blink away the blurriness that covered them. âAlmost eleven thirty.â
You sat up at that, the quick movement making your head spin. âWhat? How? We didnât even do any studying,âÂ
He looked confused for a second before his eyes narrowed on the textbooks on the coffee table that hadnât been opened all night. âHuh,â
You laugh quietly, making him look over at you with a small grin. âI knew taking those drinks from you was a bad idea,â
Ethan shrugged and leaned further into the couch, kicking his feet up onto the table beside the books. âWeekendâs arenât meant for studying, anyway,â he says casually, placing his hands behind his head before adding, âI feel sick.â
You give him a weary look before moving away from him. âAre you going to throw up?âÂ
He shakes his head. âNo, not that kind of sick feeling,â he answered and you furrow your brows.Â
âYouâre not making any sense, Eth,â you say and reach over to poke his arm. âWhat kind of sickness are you feeling?â
His eyes squint slightly as he held your gaze, his arms dropping to cross over his chest. âI donât know,â he answered as truthfully as he could. In all honesty, he really didnât know how to describe the feeling you gave him whenever he was around you, in the same room as you, or beside you. It made him feel warm, fuzzy and wanted all at once, a certain distaste filling his mouth whenever he wasnât with you. âI feelâŠdifferent with you. I donât knowâŠ.you make me feel sick.â
You scoff at him and sit up straighter, giving his shoulder a light slap. âYou jerk,â you say as you try to figure out if you should feel offended or not. âWhat does that even mean?â
âI donât know,â he repeats those words for the third time, his hand gently grabbing yours after it fell from his shoulder. You both try to ignore how perfectly they fit together. âItâs not a bad feeling, justâŠ..a different one. I donât know.â
âIf you say you donât know one more time-â you cut yourself off, the empty threat dying on your lips as you give him a look of warning.Â
He sighs and uses his free hand to rub his temple. He definitely drank too much and could already feel a headache forming. His sight was quickly leaving him, a tired feeling washing over him, yet he didnât want to call it a night just yet. He was having too much fun with you to end it so soon.Â
âItâs just..I feel good when Iâm around you. I feel like Iâm actually wanted whenever Iâm with you. It feels different when Iâm with Tara or Chad because Iâm not with you,â he needs to stop talking. He needs to shut up now if he wants to continue to be friends with you the following morning. âI donât know what Iâm saying.â
You shake your head and move closer to him, keeping your hand locked in his. âNo, keep going,â you wish you cared enough to be embarrassed at how desperate you sounded.Â
Ethanâs eyes met yours and he almost wanted to believe the genuine look of interest in your eyes. Then again, you were the only person who ever showed a real interest in him. You were the only person he could be vulnerable with. âI hate it when Iâm not around you. I want to be with you all the time. I think about you all the time,â he laughs quietly to himself pressing the heel of his palm to his eye as he feels his brain go fuzzy for a few seconds. âFuck, I think Iâm in love with you.â
You reel back at that and it was clear that Ethan had no idea what he just confessed. His eyes stay fixated on his fingers, the quick movement of your body pulling away from him seeming to have not fazed him one bit. âYouâre what?â You ask and blink a few times, partly to clear your vision and partly to help figure out if you heard him correctly. âWhat did you just say?â
He looks over at you, confusion evident on his features as he takes in your shocked state. âWhat?â
âYou just-â you stop mid sentence and move to sit up properly on the couch, trying not to pay any attention to the way your head spun at the fast movement. âYou just said youâre in love with me.â
Ethan gives you a look before shaking his head. âNo, I didnât,â he murmured quietly.Â
âYes, you did,â you say and dare to move closer to him once again. âI just heard you say it.â
He huffs out a breath before raising one hand in question. âWell, if I did say that, I wasnât lying or messing with you or anything like that,â he says quietly and you almost didnât hear him over the loud beating of your heart in your ears. âI guess I do consider myself in love with you. I mean, how couldnât I be? Youâre really pretty and nice and yeah, I am definitely in love with you.â
Disbelief fills you and you look away, your eyes fixated on a spot on the wall. âI donât believe this,â you mutter and Ethan sits up, alarmed.
âWhat? You donât believe what? What did I do?â He asked quickly, making your head hurt at all the questions. âDid I just ruin everything? Fuck, I did, didnât I? Iâm so sorry, Y/n, Iâm drunk and totally talking out of my-â
He is unable to finish the sentence before youâre leaning over and pressing your lips to his, a quick and effective way of shutting him up.Â
Before he could even begin to think of kissing you back, youâre pulling away with a nervous smile. âI think Iâm in love with you, too,â
Ethanâs look of shock is quickly wiped off and he moves even closer to you, his hand reaching up to caress the side of your face. His fingers tuck your hair behind your ear before heâs leaning in and connecting your lips once more, this time with both of you more than ready for it.
