Sims 4 Bachelor Challenge Rules
Contestants must have the soulmate aspiration! Other traits are up to you-make them unique!
Everyone must live in separate rooms on the same lot. Bachelor/ette should be a little more separated from the group (such as on a different floor or a separate building). Make sure to click on bed to assign the rooms. Contestants aren’t allowed to enter bachelor/ette’s room (lock the door), but he/she can enter theirs. Create or find a house on the gallery--the more luxurious the better!
Try not to have bias! You can’t allow yourself to influence the sims’ relationships. It has to be their choice. Turn on full autonomy in the settings, and let the sims do their thing. Anytime you control any relationship interaction, it must be done equally for each contestant.
You can control their actions for filling their needs. I recommend filling their needs at the beginning of each session/day. You can use needs cheats, such as “Make all happy” if you choose. Let me know in comments if you need any help on cheats.
You create the main bachelor/ette, and have friends/followers/family make seven unique bachelor/ette contestants. Try not to view outfits beforehand as it’s more fun to be surprised. For fun, have friends create a quick back-story about their contestant.
Take lots of photos! Your friends who created the contestants will want to see how their sims are doing! Take pictures of each contestant and put them on the bachelor/ette’s wall to look at occasionally, and especially before eliminations. Turn their frames a different color when they are eliminated. Take pictures on dates and anytime something fun happens, and videos for special occasions.
Assign each of the contestants a number to use for various random selection situations, and download a random number app. You may use the random number app for other decisions where you don’t want to be biased.
Whoever has the lowest friendship level, (or romance level when they get to that point), will be eliminated.
Dress formal for ceremony.
Temporarily turn off their autonomy and set them up in a way that looks like a ceremony. Otherwise they won’t stay put for the ceremony).
If you have the interaction option, give the ones who are staying a rose (in random order). If not, give them some other friendly token or interaction.
Watch the fights and anger happen! LOL!
Tie breaker may need to be done. Be creative on how to do this!
Day 1: Hang out at home and let them get to know each other. No controlling interactions. No elimination.
Day 2: Hang out with all sims together either at home or out, with some type of simple activity (bar, pool, cafe, park) . Assignments: 1) Bachelor/ette takes a selfie with each contestant (must do first). 2) Bachelor/ette friendly hugs each contestant. No elimination
Day 3: First elimination at 6pm. One last chance to make an impression on the bachelor/ette during the day.

Personal dates, when “Go on a date” is an interaction choice. This is a timed and rated challenge in the game. Choose a flirty or romantic interaction to do with each of the contestants on the date. Choose dates by random number selection and note who went to make sure the others get a chance later.
Personal dates by 3 lowest or 3 highest friendship/romance levels
Group dates - all together, or select some randomly or by friendship/romance level
Outings of all sorts that aren’t “date challenges”: gym, cafe, karaoke, restaurant, park, beach, camping, dancing, shopping, museum, resort, hotel… Download expansion, game, or stuff packs for more fun adventures, furniture, outfits, and hairstyles.
At home days: swimming, barbecuing, hot tub, dancing.
