The Bringers of despair,

These once proud warriors were once a part of the Lamenters 1st company, during the Badab War they fought side by side with the Astral Claws Chapter Master Lufgt Huron during the final battles of the Badab conflict not knowing that their Chapter had been taken into custody of the Inquisition. After the Tyrant of Badab declared that the Astral claws should remove their symbols of loyalty to the Imperium these broken warriors led by Librarian Khadus broke away from the now Red Corsairs and handed themselves into the Inquisition where they by chance were united with their brothers briefly.

Having stayed by the Tyrants side longer than the rest of their brothers the broken remains of the 1st company that had stayed with Huron painted their armour black in shame for the monster they had helped create, the torn chapter banner of the Lamenters 1st Company now pinned to the warriors armour describe the sins each warrior has committed and how only in their death will their sins be forgiven. 

They now tail the Lamenters fleet in small near impossible to discover unarmed ship and will perform the most dangerous tasks and missions their Chapter master asks of them. 

(On the TT I will probably play them as Reivers as I don’t really like their models that much, these guys also look a lot better in a full normal marine list if I want to take some more durable marines.)

Having been working on video game projects since 1999 and written for the grim dark future of Warhammer 40,000 since 2003, it was clearly fated that one day I was going to get to combine the two…

…and so I am pleased to announce that I have teamed up with Cyanide Studios and Focus Interactive, to work with them on the narrative for their forthcoming turn-based tactical game!

Space Hulk: Tactics will be released later in 2018 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms, and you can find more details about the game at the official website Here.

Units of measurement based on how many Adeptus Custodes they could fight at one time

Captain America gets 0

Aquaman gets a score of 1 or 2

Wonder Woman I’d say 4

Thor gets like 8

Superman maybe 15

Darkseid I’ll say 25

I’m not much for comics, but I recall people on par with Odinforce! Thor destroying entire galaxies as a side effect of their fights?

As much as I love 40K the “roof” for power in comics is simply too high for even the Emperor or the Ruinous Powers to best.

Ghost rider will smush everything with a soul into paste. So yes, Abbadon would suffer the death glare.

Superman is a dork and has -2 immunity against magic, I’ll take magic as warp fluff.

Wonderwoman at some point was/is the Goddess of War. So she’d be a mini Khorne. She will come to destroy us all as she’s a flying marine there to stab and punch you.

I agree with Thor getting an 8.

Captain America just could not keep up so maybe a 0.2, 0.25 if you’re feeling generous. (I mean seriously, that frisbee would just get stuck in the nearest civilian).

Darkside would suffer an immediate end via Nurgle, Khorne or Tzeentch because he’s a small itty bitty bug compared to them.

Aquaman would be have to be adopted by the Carchadons or die.

The only being which could party on equal level if not higher than the 4 warp entities would be Dr. Manhattan.

I was mostly just going off of gold boys, no superhero could stand against everything in the 40k universe

That’s in theory, in practice they’ll all lose against space marines, but stay alive to be further humiliated later on.

Why would Ghost Rider kill Abaddon? I thought his skill was based on making people face their sins and feel regret…doubt abaddon feels any at all

Putting on my comic nerd hat…it doesn’t matter whether Abaddon consciously feels regret. The Penance Stare brought Galactus - an omnicidal force of nature - to his knees, shook Thanos and…did absolutely nothing to the Punisher. It might not put Abaddon down for the count (probably won’t), but it’ll likely sting something fierce, at least. It’d be more effective on someone like Angron, though. Lots of regret and angst there. Too, depending on the version of Ghost Rider, it might be more or less effective…

Also, Captain America is basically a prototype Space Marine, without all the fancy extra organs. I figure he could take at least one Custodes, given that he regularly rope-a-dopes people who outclass him in strength, speed and general murderousness - and often in situations where he’s outnumbered. 

And, of course, you’re all forgetting the greatest fighter/strategist/lover/philosopher in the Marvel Universe. A clean 30 on the Custodes scale, in my opinion. 

Yes, that’s right…the man himself.

I would say Captain america is about on level with a Space marine veteran so if he’s really lucky, like really lucky he might take 1 Custodian out. 

Current Aquaman is pretty tough so I think 1 or 2 is pretty good. 

Wonder woman is pretty damn tough so I would go about 10 same for Thor since they are both really similar.

If Superman doesn’t run up against any Psykers I honestly think he could kill about 100 to 200 custodes before he went down, since they don’t seem to have any psykers they can’t really exploit his weakness to magic or mindfuckery , Supes is a beast.
