Chaos Space Marines are getting custom Relics!

Well, Kinda.

New CSM Daemon Weapon rules are pretty interesting; for starters, you now get a choice as to whether or not your guy cops wounds for using a Daemon Weapon.

In previous editions it felt like a punishment to use Daemon Weapons; "how dare you use wargear your army is allowed to use - here, your character loses wounds. Idiot!"

At least, now you can just not use the Daemon Weapon after you fail the test; I'd raither my guy drop the rebelling weapon and punch his opponent with his bare hands than get wounded automatically.

Or you can cop D3 Mortal Wounds and use the weapon anyway. The point is you have a choice.

The way Daemon Weapons work now too; essentially they turn any weapon into a Relic and give you bonus special rules. That's amazing for customisation and building your own character.

I don't know what has changed at GeeDubs, but this upcoming CSM Codex might be the best one since the 3.5E CSM Codex.

They're actually giving CSMs useful stuff and buffs instead of making CSM mediocre lesser marines.

Creepiest thing about the ghouls/flesh eater courts

While totally convinced they are noble knights in shining armor, they do nothing but hurt and kill. Its creepy how entirely convinced they are of their own righteousness, even though its a weird fever dream, they attack he people actually in the right. Much like the people supporting the fascist government of Canada bring the boot upon the necks of the workers of the world uniting (truckers protesting) while totally convinced that somehow they are the good guys
