IT’S WHAT WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR
i have never seen “…fair enough.” so eloquently stated, and he did it with only his face.
Inigo Montoya’s one moment of genuine chill.
What is this Anne of Green Gables coffee shop au that CBC is giving me
Is there someone in this fandom who’s good at writing aus? Or fanfics in general because I would love to read your ideas about Anne!
in which Betty Cooper is simply done with everyone and will stop at nothing to prove Jughead’s dad’s innocence. dropping truth bombs, with lots of Nos, determination, sass and conviction.
Bonus:
This is one of my favorite posts because that cat’s fucking name is fucking meatloaf
Let us just appreciate that this person’s dad didn’t know when they would be home and so he couldn’t plan for them to be able to join the family for dinner, but he knew with no doubts that dear sweet Meatloaf staying in that exact position for hours was an absolute in this scenario. Truly, that cat was named well.
one of my favorite posts on tumblr over the course of 5 fucking years.. clearly i need a life
Meatloaf is a reliable cat and did not steal the money for selfish reasons. A rare friend.
I love Meatloaf. :)
Bless Meatloaf

Tired, Disheveled yet Chic™
I’ve been doing some Iron Man collecting….
I have no idea why I decided to display them in front of Town Hall. But I’m running with it.
reasons why getting rid of fp’s character is fucking stupid:
he’s the hottest man on the show dont even try fighting me about it ok i only deliver straight FACTS
where the FUCK is my fredsythe reconciliation arc???? give me the middle aged bromance you cowards
madchen clearly wants to explore a relationship between alice and fp like she’s on twitter liking and retweeting posts about shipping them PLUS when someone asked about fp x alice history she made a comment about the writers working on season 2 so the fuck my dudes ?!
can you even imagine next season having scenes with fp and hiram? like holy shit we’d all die
should probably be higher on the list but wtf is jughead supposed to do with both his parents gone???? yall really gonna orphan this 16 year old boy for why? for what reason? like its one thing to have fred take him in short term but (if this is where the story goes) yall really gonna have fred adopt jughead or something when you could just….i dont know……WORK ON REBUILDING A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS OWN FATHER? (unless they plan on having gladys come back? but still…keep fp around)
you literally have him showing that hes making an effort to better himself for what? to kill him? wow. groundbreaking. revolutionary writing. never before done. shocking.
YOU LITERALLY HAD THE CREATOR OF THE SHOW TALKING ABOUT HOW GREAT THE STORYLINE WITH THE ADULTS IS AND HOW WHAT A BLESSING IT IS TO GET TO WRITE FOR THE ADULT ACTORS (SPECIFICALLY NAMING SKEET) WHY WOULD YOU THROW THAT AWAY THERES STILL SO MUCH STORY TO TELL
if anyone else has anything to contribute go ahead and if anyone would like to come stress yell with me about the possible impending doom of fp jones that is also welcomed because uh
I don’t have anything good to add except that if FP dies/leaves I will fucking riot
And stop killing the one who can actually act..😒
If they martyr him they’re literally playing themselves, he’s a 10
I think this has to be the best rant I’ve read today.
#CAN YOU HEAR MY HEART SHATTERING INTO PIECES
This is the moment I fucking died inside, folks.
I really like this scene because you can see that jughead was kinda expecting this reaction which is why he doesn’t even try to fight back cuz he knows she needs to let out all her anger and frustration somehow
And there’s no expression on his face- he’s resigned to this, because somehow, he believes it’s his fault and his apology is required for something his father did. So he just stands there and takes it.
WHY. CAN’T. JUGHEAD. HAVE. ANYTHING. LET THE BOY BE HAPPY MY GOD.
Look at me, Jughead! Never come back here. You understand?
Raise your hand if you weren’t shocked by that reveal
Name a cuter jerry, I’ll wait
Tony Stark + being a dork
Tony Stark is my hero because i need a hero who struggles. Not just with criminals, villains or any outside force, but with more of their own demons than they will ever let anyone know.
I need a hero who finds themself again and again face-down in the mud and shattered remnants of their own mistakes but /always/ manages, somehow, to get back up. No matter if someone pushed them there or if they tripped on their own faults, they pick themself back up and /keep going/. Not because they have to, not because the world’s at stake, but just because they’re trying so hard to be /good/.
Tony Stark is my hero because he’s had his trust betrayed so many times, but it hasn’t turned him angry and bitter like too many other characters. Because no matter how deep in the dark he gets, he never stops caring about the world, about /people/.
Because his brain moves at a thousand miles an hour and I know what that’s like, how isolating it can be. Because he’s always wearing some kind of mask or another, because he’s /always had to/ and I know what that’s like, too. Because he carries his own shit on his own shoulders, and built his own superpowers with his mind and his skills and his own two grease-stained hands.
I just fucking love Tony Stark.
I’ve never had an interest in Iron Man but you may just have stated something.
I highly recommend it. I can’t really add much else that isn’t already wonderfully stated above, but I will say I’ve always been very impressed with the portrayal of Tony Stark as a character in the movies, and definitely by IM3 I was very surprised, but pleasantly so, at how real they got with addressing PTSD and mental health. It’s there in IM1 and IM2 as well, but it’s very forefront and specifically addressed in IM3 (which the first Avengers movie is crucial to this development so if you decide to watch them do not pass that one up). I truly can’t think of another superhero movie(s) that address the aftermath of what the hero has gone through like these movies do (not that they don’t have their struggles, but it very much stands out for Iron Man, especially in IM3).
And on top of all that he’s just tons of fun.
Anyway it’s very good stuff, 100% recommended!
Ok I saw this and I HAVE TO CONTRIBUTE BECAUSE SERIOUSLY LET’S TALK ABOUT TONY STARK. There is so, so, so much going on inside of Tony at all times, and he handles it with such flippancy that sometimes I think everyone just … forgets about it. But it’s the background radiation to his character that’s always there, and it MAKES HIM. Tony at the end of the day is a man wounded by the the past, often betrayed by the present, who is still trying so hard to make something worthwhile for the future and for everyone he comes into contact with. He can be oblivious, he can be a jackass, but there isn’t an uncaring bone in his body–just a defensive wall of bravado. He’s a defiant, cocky, independent spirit (because he’s HAD to be, he was so alone in so many ways for so long), he’s a futurist exploring the potential of the present (because he’s seen it go so horribly wrong, and has made so, so many mistakes) and he lives a charmed life (that he can’t seem to stop ruining) and basically he’s such a contradiction and so complicated and so GOOD (and self sacrificing, ohmyGOD don’t even start me on some of the things he’s done, even if he’s also a long-term planner and tries to have a backup, he still takes the risk) despite having lost so much. And seriously, he’s lost so much: his father’s affection (Howard was distant at best), his parent’s in general (the truth of which only gets worse), his entire peer group (he was in college by like 16), and his surrogate father, who not only died, BUT TRIED TO KILL HIM FIRST. In Civil War, he also loses *SPOILERS* the love of his life, and almost loses his best friend in the world. (One of his only friends in the world, certainly his closest.) And despite all of this he’s always thinking ahead, he’s always thinking through, he’s always trying to FIX what goes wrong. He never gives up–even when it’s terrible for him. He’s so confident but so fragile and he works his ass off to balance all of it and he’s basically just spectacular. He’s one of the most lasting, defining characters of the Golden Age for a reason, he’s the hero Marvel really seriously began their cinematic universe with for a reason, and everyone should appreciate him more.
He just has such A+ character development, I can’t even. Everything mentioned here is so true and so well put. One of the things I love about him is, as he’s said himself, he’s “not the hero type.” At least not in a clean cut, immediately obvious sort of way. I love a lot of different superheroes, but he really stands out to me in what a beautiful disastrous mess he is.
And yet he continually keeps trying to reform himself and stays a FUN character, even with all the weight. I mean, I talk about PTSD and his mental health and how these movies address that, but honestly I don’t immediately associate Iron Man with angsty broodiness. I think of fun and wit and sass. I just love it. Going from Civil War all the back to IM1 after not watching it for so long, I just can’t even believe his character development. I love him so much.
ALL OF THIS omg I love Tony Stark
He is a beautiful disaster
But oh when he shines, he shines so brightly
@caveat-monstrum right up your alley!!!
here are some of the reasons why i love tony so much. And why i’ll always take his side.
Tony at the end of the day is a man wounded by the the past, often betrayed by the present, who is still trying so hard to make something worthwhile for the future and for everyone he comes into contact with.
I read this and cried a little. Bless.
We’ll see about that Anne…
