Hello, my name is fish! I use he-him and I’m 19.

This is my Eddsworld-centric blog! Eddsworld has been my special interest for about 8 years now, so this blog is dedicated to Eddsworld / serves as my own personal Eddsworld “diary” if that makes sense!

I don’t exactly have a DNI just don’t be weird and don’t argue about ships / with me.

This is me mainly just ranting about the current situation going on, mainly on twitter for those curious. I’d suggest looking on there for context since I am also a bit lost still? Anyways.

I find it incredibly disheartening to hear allegedly that the EW crew is being treated this way, I guess mainly it’s because of the fact that the animators are being treated like this. Especially since animation is Eddsworld’s entire thing. I don’t know. Eddsworld itself is very important to me personally, I have been very into it since about 2018 and I’ve observed the fandom since. I do think that the way Matt has been treated since his recent tweets are a bit weird / coming off as more or less judgmental? I am only hoping that his response is going to be a reflection of his position during Eddsworld Legacy, but I guess we all need to wait. Either way, that doesn’t of course excuse the lack of attendance (allegedly) from him (again, context on twitter). I’m really hoping EWCrew will be okay as-well. If what’s being spread around is true, I’m very disappointed and I only wish the best for the crew.

Along with that, a slight mini rant:

I find it weird how some people are stating that this shouldn’t be public to the fandom? I don’t know, maybe it is just *me*, but Eddsworld really isn’t anything without its fandom. The fandom has kept it alive for so long, the fans are the ones funding the production. So, basically, I’m saying that I feel as though we do deserve to be told what’s going on / at least something? Maybe that’s a controversial take, I’m unsure. Anyway, I have some Eddsworld ponies I’m going to be drawing soon :) I am very excited.

Hello!

Since it’s been recently Eddsworld Legacy’s anniversary and nearing Edd’s passing, I really wanted to post something. Especially since it’s related directly to Eddsworld.

Eddsworld is such an amazing cartoon. Oh my god. I can’t even begin to just say everything I want to say. As an artist, a struggling one at that, Eddsworld has been such an inspiration. Edd Gould inspired me so much as an artist, enough to actually make me continue drawing and go into drawing / art as a career. Eddsworld has had such an important impact on me. Eddsworld legacy was the first parts of Eddsworld I had discovered in middle school, unironically through UNDERTALE too (it was a silly gif of Tom). I found the channel and was so immersed with it. I mean, you couldn’t get me to shut up about it. Edds style had such an impact on my own art, he’s really inspired me.

I have for a while now been watching Tomska’s content. He’s also an inspiration for me. Both of their work means so much, when I realized he was also closely involved with Eddsworld it blew my mind!! It only made me love it and his content even more.

Recently, Tomska posted an article regarding his journey throughout Eddsworld Legacy (I suggest everyone who comes across my post to read it) and it brought me to tears. Knowing both how much he’s put into this and how much care he had for Edd, I mean it even solidifies my love of Eddsworld more.

Thank you, Tomska and Edd Gould for being the artists you are and having such an impact on me. I doubt you’ll see this post, but I wanted to get it out.

I enjoy that Edd is mainly cat based pokemon and Matt is anything aesthetically pleasing… Also, Tord is 100% a fire starter btw I take zero disagreements!!
