“I’ve heard about you from my roommates. You know- Eduardo, Jon, Mark?”

  Todd muses with that Russian accent of his, leaning with folded arms over the top of the fence diving their two yards. A smug, albeit friendly grin sits on his face as he extends one bulky arm with an open palm, as if to shake hands.

“Todd Solaris. Moved in last week.” 

  Almost too friendly, really.

“--no! No, I-- I’m not here!”

  He hisses, trying his best to hide. With a grumble, he takes to scrambling into the canopy of a tree in his back yard, causing several branches to creak in protest. Reddish eyes train on the other trying to come to him and communicate. What if he loses control of whatever he is and attacks? What if his roommates kick him out over it?

“......”

  Todd finds that he can’t think of anything to say or do, so he awkwardly sits tangled in tree branches, hoping that Edd will just up and leave, go back home, et cetera.

Rainy Red Days

“Of all days to wear white AND forget my fucking umbrella…” Bane sighed as she clutched her groceries closer to her chest. What should have been a quick run to the store for ingredients for tonight’s dinner had turned into a game of hide and go seek with the rain. And she really didn’t want to be found, she could do without the embarrassment of see through clothes. As much as she wanted to move on from this shop front(she was loitering, so rude!), she was stuck until the rain let up; And it only seemed to come down harder as time went on…

  A tall, somewhat bulky man stands beneath a canopy extending over the entrance area of a building, frowning and shrugging off a soaked, thick coat. Lovely. He glances over at a woman holding some groceries close, raising a brow.

“...lovely weather today, isn’t it?”

  He sarcastically inquires, commentating on the gloomy day with a heavy sigh immediately afterwards.
