Intro Post

Call me Red, I use she/her pronouns and this blog is basically gonna be me posting Dandy's World stuff.

I have an AO3 account with the same username, but I'll link it here at a later date once I have a story or two up there.

I do draw and write, but when I update is inconsistent and only if work lets me have a life and not drag me into a flatline.

Not sure what else to add, I'm not really gonna have this be a main blog or anything. But I might reblog stuff that isn't Dandy's World from time to time. Maybe. Not sure yet.

But yeah! Hope to have a good time with y'all.

The small update might have made the treadmill machines better to do, but it did not make me love Twisted Looey at all.

For context, I play solo most of the time. I try to finish Dyle's floor with each toon I have. This was my second attempt with Astro. First time I died with 23/25 machines done. This time, I had Looey, Brusha and Shrimpo as my Twisted commons and I was doing well avoiding all of them. But then Looey saw me and just as I looped him around an island, I turn around, hoping Twisted Looey would also turn around but in the opposite direction.

He did not. I was on one heart, and there were no healing items on the floor.

I mean did finish Astro's mastery during that run, but I have to do it again and I ain't doing it tonight. I still could. Maybe.

My designs for Dandy and Dyle! Honestly it was kind of hard trying to come up with an outfit for Dandy. I didn’t want to be too simple but I didn’t want to overdo it either. As for Dyle, I stuck to what he usually wears but if he doesn’t have his jacket, he’s got suspenders on, kind of in my last post I had with him.

Also, quick GossipDuo/FlowerTrain sketch cause I really wanna draw more of these two together. Def also need to choose an actual ship name, but eh I’ll get there in time

Okay so pretty random thing, but I have this hobby of building DIY book nooks and miniature houses (more like scenes but that’s just me). I just buy the set and spend like, 4-6 hours making them depending on how complex it is.

I just recently finished making a set that is called Time Travel by the RoLife brand (where most of my sets come from tbh), and it’s got a train in it. It pretty much made me think of Dyle and like, maybe he would like doing something like this as his own hobby.

Or he would just enjoy holding the train, idk. I’ll probably sketch something when I have the time. But have some pics for reference!

Imma be honest though, this was still a pain to build because it was all wooden pieces that were kind of thin, and I just find it hard to NOT almost break the damn pieces. It’s happened but at least there is a glue and sandpaper for a reason.

Late night sketch of Sprout and Shelly! I’m probably gonna tweak Sprout’s outfit a bit more, but I feel like I did my girl Shelly dirty. Didn’t help that I drew her too close to the edge of the paper, so I’ll redo her one day.

Small Dyle headcanon with a Gossip Duo comic at the end

I’ve got a headcanon about Dyle, which involves two human ocs of mine, but essentially they worked alongside Dyle in running the train and bringing in supplies before Gardenview shut down. They both taught Dyle how to fix the train if it ever broke down. This led to Dyle teaching himself how to fix other things such as the extracting machines, the elevator, etc.

No one else really knows about this except Dandy, since he’s watched him fix his train a couple of times. Now that the Ichor Operation is in full swing, some of the older machines are breaking down so Dyle goes to investigate them. Including the ones that Dandy points out to him which…don’t seem to be broken?

“Dandicus, are you sure this is broken?”

“Yup! 100% definitely not working!”

“It seems fine though…”

“Yeah…fine…”

Oh, I see. Smooth Dancifer. Smooth.

Quick sketch of Astro and Vee in my style! I was actually gonna draw Dyle next to Vee, maybe play off a bit on the gossip he has about her, but I’ll save that for another time. I do want to practice drawing the other toons first.

Me, listening to “It’s All So Incredibly Loud” by Glass Animals while going to work, and thinking about Dandy and Dyle turning into their Lethal forms for the first time for different reasons, but heartbreaking at the same time:
