So meet my newest cosplay partner and fur-son. Everyone, this is Oliver! Ollie, for short. Named specifically for Oliver Queen (DC’s Green Arrow), but now and then, my theater lover side refers to him as Master Twist. Whatever comes first. :)  Plan on teaching this child the way of a cosplayer some day.

He’s a great little boy though. 3 1/2 months old (4 months on the 29th of this month). He’s a Leo, a Monkey on the Chinese zodiac (dear God I have a Ritsu child!); and he’s a heterchromiac. :)  He was born with heterochromia, the genetic mutation that makes his eyes two different colors. One eye is brownish, the other is blue.

Those moments when you have a dream cosplay that raises two issues... 1) I refuse to do it until I finally skinny down. I constantly slack on that for varying reasons, and thus I doubt it'll ever happen. Though I do want to do this cosplay while I'm still in my 30s and able to believably pull it off. 2) I need a partner to do it. Don't want to do it alone because it'll be better with the complimenting character. Male or a female who can pull off a convincing male. :) Preferably one that I trust explicitly to play with because yes, that will make it excruciatingly perfect.

Happy Hallows, everybody!

Kicked off Halloween weekend with my first ever trip to the Downtown Phoenix Zombie Walk. An event that almost didn’t happen, but was resurrected from a threatening fate by the American Hemophilia Association. So major shout outs and thanks to them for keeping the event...undead. ;)

I was joined by my lovely Madam, Moon Brat Cosplay, and her sister. Photo above was taken by them. Please be sure to go check Moon Brat out! She’s an amazingly talented cosplayer that deserves a ton of love.

Tonight marks one step closer to a proper Grell and Ann shoot. We shall make it happen! Just had to take care of these hundreds of Bizarre Dolls first!

Also, allow me to be a little ridiculous and giddy because we were ON THE NEWS! Gah~, it was so cool, and really made the night awesome. Lots of glee in my house this evening at that. XD

Shall return on Monday with a new “costume”. Just something really small for Halloween. Surprisingly not Grell. Nope, the diva is getting this Hallows off...from me, that is. William? Likely not. ;) Til then!

It’s been a while since I posted on here! So sorry for that. I mostly update Facebook first. :/  But welcome to all the new folks who have come along! It’s great to see you aboard for the ride!

But Phoenix Comicon 2016 is coming up! Getting psyched for that!

I’m bringing back another Reaper, a particular manager, and will be on hand to keep an eye on a truly glorious ginger menace.

Katsucon 2016!

At long last, here are some pictures from Katsucon. Best ones I got were of Grell 3.0. Learned some new skills and showed off some new costume pieces! (Hence the shot of my and @moose-born‘s feet XD Those spats are new. :3)

Unfortunately only got one epic shot of Junior Grell, the one based on fan artwork by @nimbus-cloud. I’m going to go through the Black Butler Photoshoot shots and see if I can find better. But the costume was very comfortable and easy to maintain throughout the day, and I DEFINITELY plan on doing it again.

Also, we had professional shots done while I was in Butler Grell. Once those are ready, and edited some, I’ll put those up. But for now, check out the epic that is me finding my mistress! XD I can’t praise this cosplayer enough, she was so sweet. We called to her from the upper floor and she came up to take some pictures with us. If anyone knows her, please, send her my way so I can thank her again!

Katsucon preparations continue!

On the left, my pal moose-born is building my Junior Grell scythe. It is looking amazing! :D

Middle and right are the progress on my new Grell coat, to be used for Junior, Butler, and Ripper. Anything prior to the red coat. Many thanks to Mary Sobaszkiewicz of It Would Seam Sew for helping me out with this! If anyone needs assistance with any sewing projects in the East Valley, look Mary up! She's so lovely and awesome with all things sewing! Message me if you want further info!

Next Stop: Katsucon 2016!

I have been waiting for this convention for over a year now. Back when I was invited, down to the decision to go, and now as it’s less than a month away. Shit’s getting real, folks! So very real!

As I’ve posted, Grell is coming with me in various formations for the entire weekend. Can’t wait to debut 3.0 without any pieces missing, Junior Grell (not Student, Junior) alongside his handsome senior, and Butler Grell 2.0. Proper coat is being made, and it’s looking to be gorgeous!

But most importantly, I’m so excited to be living a cosplay dream. Just found out last night that I will be cosplaying Grell among a group of the full SIX members of the London Dispatch! I’ve wanted to do this for years now, and it’s finally going to happen at Katsucon. We have all six London Dispatch members (Grell, William, Ronald, Eric, Alan, and the Undertaker) for one day only, at Katsucon 2016!

Grell and Eric will remain all weekend, the former in two other forms. He’ll be in his butler disguise on Sunday alongside Sebastian and Claude. (Butlers at your service; happy Valentine’s Day, ladies~! ;))

These were from Saturday, which was completely planned. Met my new pal, Kadence (Madam Red). (She’s also an amazing Sieglinde Sullivan, from the Green Witch arc, Ciel and Alois!)

This was only for about ten minutes or so, as we agreed to meet up in Casual Modern attire. I can’t wait to do photos with her in Butler when Madam’s ready!

Unexpected visit to Taiyou Con in Mesa, AZ. These were from Sunday, and taken by the amazing @spazkitty-otaku, aka the best William cosplay partner ever. When I heard she had brought William, I couldn’t resist. Our friend, Lil’BunnieCosplay, showing up as Ciel Phantomhive for the first time in a long time didn’t help me resist temptation either.
