I used to read a bunch of things on webtoon and today I'm reminded of why I stopped. Felt like reading something before I started work today and got to the last episode of a manhwa and it wanted me to download the app to keep reading. I don't want to download the app. I have bad eyes and I can't see unless it's on my laptop and I don't want to spend all my time zooming in and out (I know it's a small complaint but it feel irritating and exhausting instead of, you know, fun). If it's free on the app, it should also be free on the desktop site. It feels like the pettiest of gatekeeping. What happened to having options? 😭
