Sometimes when everything goes right, you feel like more of a fraud than if it went horrible wrong. Like, I know I’ve worked hard for everything I’m getting now, but I constantly feel like I am one mishap away from screwing it all up. I’m so used to things being: Good, Good, Good, OH GOD I FUCKED IT UP, that I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop.

And that is the shortest way to describe how I’m feeling right now without getting into the ridiculous emo specifics.  This song gives me the same feeling, so sharing is caring (I lied, you are all sparkling unicorns for reading this and you should never thing otherwise).

Oi! Oi! Oi!

Hectic few weeks, been doing my workouts but much slower because I still can't seem to eat anything. I'm down 11 pounds but I look like I ate an unattended child. Frustrating. The good news is that my hunger is blessedly overtaken by nausea because seriously--being hungry and then in pain whenever you eat would be the WORST. At least my stomach is being polite. The equivalent of apologizing when one sneezes. My manners have trickled down! Never tell the Republicans.

Lowland paca (Cuniculus paca)

The lowland paca is a large rodent found in tropical and sub-tropical America, from East-Central Mexico to Northern Argentina. The lowland paca is mostly nocturnal and solitary and does not vocalize very much. It lives in forested habitats near water, preferably smaller rivers, and dig simple burrows about 2 m below the surface, usually with more than one exit. The lowland paca is a good swimmer and usually heads for the water to escape danger. It also is an incredible climber and it searches for fruit in the trees. Its diet includes leaves, stems, roots, seeds, and fruit, especially avocados, mangos and zapotes. It sometimes stores food.

Accidentally lost 9 pounds this week. I might actually need to go to the doctor. Also, pro tip: if you lose 9 pounds in a week, don't expect to drink more than one glass of wine.

Planet Fitness cancels woman's membership after her complaints of transgender woman in locker room

A Midland County woman's gym membership was cancelled after she refused to stop telling other members about a person she called a "man" in the woman's locker room.

Planet Fitness gets a lot of stuff wrong, but this is a great step.  I love this philosophy; get rid of the person with the problem, not the poor person just living their life!

Life lessons I have learned by accident, Part I.

If you have any inkling feeling about an appointment - even if you have the confirmation email - call the office first and bask in the glory of (1) finding out you are all set! Good job!  Go to you appointment! OR (B) finding out that your appointment has been lost/scheduled incorrectly/eaten by raptors and save yourself a damn trip to the boonies at 8:00a.

Take THAT, wishful thinking in me that thought an 8AM vet appointment was a great idea.

((Well that might have to do with the fact that he’s a Hun.  Women among the Huns had higher status than their Chinese counterparts and even some of their own men. Women were free to hunt and fight along side of the men, could choose their own husbands and divorce him if she choose to. There were even records of clans being led by women leaders. Worked out with the apartment personal training group today. I may never walk again. My legs are going to die. My neighbor (the personal trainer) has realized that I am easily fooled by boxing because it's fun. WHY AM I SO EASILY DUPED? So many mini-squats.
