[ Hunting under the moonlight, gaining their name from a nocturnal nature, Moonclan's sister-clan of their territory was wiped long ago causing a secondary role known as the Messenger to be born to carry news to and from other clans. ]
[ They have no Gatherings due to being only one clan in one forest, but at half-moon medicine cat(s) still go to the Moonfall (their version of moonstone/moonpool, a waterfall) to communicate with Starclan. ]
[ Their camp is a sprawling treehouse previously inhabited by twolegs who have long since moved out. ]
[ Their scent is of honey with a slight hint of maple tree sap. ]
[ Their main prey consists of birds, squirrels and fish. Occasionally, hares come through. ]
[ Their climate is typically warm and sunny, however during leafbares the temperature plummets and as such these cats are adapted for large temperature swings and can shed or grow coats extremely quickly. ]
[ This clan is plagued by an unusual illness named purplecough (A permanent damage to the respiratory system caused by toxins emitted in newleaf by damaged trees in the territory, more common towards and in the marshes.). ]
[ Cats who catch this illness are forced to retire to the elder den. It is not contagious, but often halves or even quarters lifespans. ]
[ Despite their territory not having dogs or wolves, the danger of foxes is still there, on top of the highly occasional boar or bear that are not combatable and such are avoided until they pass. ]
[ They are unusually accepting of loners and rogues, while kittypets are incredibly rare as the forest is (for the most part) untouched by twolegs, so they are treasured and guided back to their homes if they so wish. ]
[ Other clans are practically nonexistant and as such the cats are barely trained on how to deal with them. This obviously excludes the messenger and their apprentice (which both handle first impressions), as well as the leader and deputy. Medicine cats may also know a small amount of how to deal with other cats. ]
[ One half of their territory consists of hilly and high-ish altitude land with many tall trees, commonly with beehives at the top. The trees on this half start to brown/orange their leaves at the onset of late greenleaf. There are plenty of lakes. ]
[ The other half consists of a marsh with relatively level temperatures all year round, seperated from the other half of their territory by a few rivers. The soil is a lake on its own, raining or soaked year-round, and it is marked by lowlands, short stumpy trees and mosquitoes, which aren't too pleasant for cats. ]

[ Beestar (🐝🌟) - A large black-and-yellow tabby tom cat who is known for being the leader of Moonclan. Often respectful and highly accepting, however can be blunt and harsh in many situations where it may be deemed necessary. ]
[ Sunspot (🌞⭐) - A short-furred she-cat with a white and pastel yellow pelt sporting a chocolate brown saddle marking and green wide eyes. She is often hyper-empathetic and wishes to help with everything, however displays leadership skills and has had many apprentices. Lesbian lesbian, homosexual lesbian. ]
[ Muddypaw (💫🌿) - An apprenticed she-cat with white fur sporting black stripes and brown fades on her paws and tail, making her look like she has been playing in the mud. She appears cold and calculating, but seems to have a soft spot for kits and is highly skilled in medicine. ]
[ Sandpaw (🌙✉️) - An apprenticed tabby she-cat with pastel yellow and greenish fur hues. Splotches are present. Known to occasionally be cold, but she appears ahead of her age in most fields.]
[ Tinytree (🌳🔅) - A small white tom-cat with a blue eye colour that tends to be missed and a grey chest heart. Often finds it difficult to assert, and can be quite quiet, but is rather sweet and caring. Gay gay, homosexual gay. ]
[ Canna (💢❔) - A large peach and orange tabby long-furred she-cat with careful green eyes. Occasionally has outbursts and can be over-protective of her kits, but otherwise a generally pleasant cat to interact with. Displays introversion. ] {Already has a canon mate, it's nobody in the interactable}
[ Treeheart (🌲🌿) - A small warm toned dark brown tabby she-cat with amber eyes. Polite and helpful, however can be a bit playful. Her right front leg and left hind leg are skinned and visibly burnt. ]
[ Navykit (💙🐾) - A small dark dull blue tabby long-haired she-kit with blue eyes. Very quiet and complacent for her age. ]
[ Mossbranch (💚🌳) - A green long-haired tabby she-cat with greenish-yellow eyes. Known to be quite strong, despite her cold and annoyed-seeming self. ]
[ Hydrangeapoppy (🌷🐾) - A small long-haired she-cat with an orange pelt fading to red sporting a brown brindle. She is deaf in one ear, which sports feather accessories. Volunteers for patrols a lot and is known to be quite helpful and reliable. ]
[ Eclipseswirl (🌙🌞) - A large half-dark blue half-yellow swirled long-hair she-cat. She is blind on the blue side. Intelligent and energetic, with occasional vengeful swings towards anger. ]
[ Pebblepond (🤍🌊) - A small stealthy grey tabby she-cat with both darker and lighter stripes and splotches. Wistful and quiet, but smart and calculating. ]
[ Canekit (🌱🐾) - A small black long-hair tom-kit with a peach chest heart and tail tip. Nobody is sure why Canna named him that. Hyper and over-energetic, often running in circles around the nursery. ]
[ Palepaw (🤍🐾) - A light grey and white tabby medium-hair tom-cat with cicada wings on his ear. His eyes are a pale green. He is quite slow and quiet mentally, but is quite fast physically. ]
[ Mintpaw (🌱🔆) - A yellow ticked-pelt medium-hair tom-cat with blue feathers on his tail. His eyes are a pale green. He is quite active and loud and he volunteers for most things, trying to help the medicine cats and warriors as much as possible. ]
[ Mitetail (🐛💢) - A warm brown speckled-pelt short-hair tom-cat with hazel eyes. Littermates with Treeheart. He is quite stoic and strict on apprentices, but generally is quite understanding. ]
[ Ashkit (🔥🐾) - A short-furred she-kit with tabby markings in an ashy brown colour. She is extremely curious about the outside world and, despite being told not to, often wanders off. Nobody has any clue how she gets out of the treehouse camp. ]
[ Hailrose (❄️🌹) - A long-furred he-cat who, despite being an elder, appears youthful. He has a very light blue solid pelt with a white rose tied to the base of his tail. The story of how he retired to the den is unknown, but he is shockingly silent and noncomprehensive unlike the other three. ]
[ Daylily (☀️🪻) - A long-furred she-cat with a uniquely bright demeanor to her. She has a peach colorpoint pelt, fading to be lighter at the nose, tail and paws, and light green eyes. She relies on her intuition to guide her out of harm's way, and is highly courageous and adventurous. ]
