-Trauma: lost her village and family to a raid back in ancient times and was adopted by gods hoping to hone her magical abilities (soul stuffs, reincarnation, special job, etc, etc.). The gods who took her in were killed several years later and she ended up roaming the world, unable to die to an extended lifespan blessing/curse placed on her.

-Resolution: LOADED question. She's technically had two canon events. If both of them hadn't happened, she might've lived out her whole life with her birth family in their village, but more realistically, she probably still would've been taken away to the heavens for training (though it would be more like day camp and she might not have gotten that close to her brothers). She'd live out the rest of her days serving the gods and continue the reincarnation cycle.

Corey:

-Trauma: followed a group of adventurers through an End portal, was pushed into the Void by an enderman, and spent centuries feeding off of whoever else fell inside. Eventually became a void-infused essence by unknown means, was depraved of most of his humanity, and cursed to possess the bodies that fell in until they decayed. Escaped when someone fell in with full elytra and rockets.

-Resolution: would probably become an adventurer, learn to sword fight, and explore the continent. He'd still try to visit home a lot.

Not answering any more cause it's late and they're the two top characters so they're the most fleshed out anyway

Okay so.

It all started when I was looking at rouxls kaard. Specifically speaking his normal sprite. At first, I was glancing casually, but then I noticed a little detail.

Namely that his suit jacket wasn't symmetrical like I'd seen it in so much fanart. "odd" I thought.

But then I looked closer.

He didn't have dividing lines anywhere on his arms to signify sleeves or gloves, nor on his legs to signify pants or boots.

And because his skin is in fact the same color as his clothes, for a moment,

a vision appeared to me.

I then laughed.

"Haha how weird. What a funny quirk of this sprite to be subject to interpretation that way" I said to myself. "But only natural, since it doesn't have the detail of his shop sprite people presumably got his outfit from."

I could have just left it at that (I wish I had just left it at that) but my curiosity overcame me, so I decided to quickly check his shop sprite.

IT DIDN'T HAVE ANY DIVIDING LINES EITHER.

It was then that I feared we had all made a grave assumption. Emphasis on the ass.

Surely you don't mean to tell me that there's a real possibility that this man is out here with his butt cheeks hanging out. Surely not.

I checked all of his other sprites. I found nothing.

This worried me.

So, I decided to look up any merch of him. This is how I found out he doesn't have official merch (sad realization. Give him merch).

But I did see someone talking about the official deltarune posters, so I checked those.

THEY DID NOT HELP. IN FACT THIS LOOKS EVEN MORE LIKE SKIN.

And I know they're not canon, but like. Toby certainly had to approve them or give directions, right???

So I went to the fan wiki because surely. Surely, they would have some kind of source listed next to the appearance description.

NOTHING. NO SOURCE. NO INGAME CITATION. NOTHINGGG

Fully desperate, I thought to check the stickers and

Kay: gets the worst of it due to protag. Lab work is super stressful, especially with the added weight of having to constantly keep an eye on your familiar stranger across the forest and the jackass squatter occupying your guest room. Comes to a head after two deaths in a day and another following a month after

Quaz: was his own protag once (assignment for Hero's Journey analysis, I probably posted the papers a few months ago). Will get stressed about finding his lost family and said family immediately trying to kill him. Also he wasn't great with boats when he first started

Celine: yeaaaaaaaaaaah um. Not quite fleshed out yet but basically every kind of abuse except physical. Girlie is so fucked up and will not realize it for some time.

Umbra: first six months after getting out of the slave trade was rough, would probably have nightmares about it nightly for at least the first two weeks and that would lead to attacks. Not gud

Corey and Dag would probably be fine. Dag would've either been unexposed or just mentally sound overall. As for Corey, he's pretty good at keeping a cool head under pressure. Even in seriously fucked up situations (which arc 2 basically is the zenith of fucked up situations for Corey), he mostly keeps his composure. Nothing too close to a panic attack except for one, small little angst moment
